16th Feb 2022 (3 years ago)Worst company imaginable. Gave us misinformation for over six months regarding entry dates and also told us development was finished when it was not. Double check everything you are told by them. They misled us and we ended up over £18000 out of pocket. Avoid this company at all cost. They don’t admit liability for anything they do.

All questions,thoughts, and details were handled with our interest, 1st and foremost. Nicola could not have been more helpful. Her manner and professionalism were obviously clear that she is an expert in this kind of work. My wife and I look forward to any more meetings in the future with Nicola, which I'm sure will be handled in the same professional manner as the first ???? ????

The process was explained in full to me both over the phone and via email when I explained I was shopping around for quotes for both sale and purchasing, without being pushy at all. Throughout the process they have been professional, advisory and quick to communicate, they've offered great advice while letting us come to our own decisions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the team to any of my friends going through the process and I hope they can advise me and my family again in the future. We particularly valued the ease with which we were able to contact Carolyn and Karin, who gave a level of personal service which was second to none. Their experience and knowledge of the local housing market helped us through the process of selling our house in Linlithgow.

Not ideal - feel like they had too much work to handle mine at the time. Communication throughout the process was excellent and once we accepted the offer on our house the legal team at Thorntons were equally exceptional. Our solicitor was always on hand to answer our questions and provide us with best advice. Thank you for taking the stress out of selling a house!

As a first-time buyer with many friends who had had poor experiences with other solicitors, I was nervous about who to choose. I didn't need to be as Urquharts provided extraordinary service, explaining processes I didn't understand thoroughly, and solving problems quickly and efficiently. I will be recommending them to all my friends and family. If you are looking for a solicitor, stop and get in touch with Urquharts immediately.

The communication was very good from the beginning, I really liked the advertising materials they produced and the process of getting viewings booked in was smooth, it was easy to keep an eye on the viewings, notes of interest and offers in the portal. I recommend this company.

Got me a Fantastic deal in high interest rate market. Once I had secured my property, Gavin mentioned that they do lettings too and impressed by my first hassle free mortgage experience I decided to trust Gavin, Kasim and Hayley to get my property on the market and manage the letting. Again, super fast, efficient and no nonsense approach. I have recommended their service to everyone I have comes across looking for mortgage or letting services. Their promptness and clear open communication is an absolute winner. Looking forward to doing more business with them.
