21st Jan 2026 (19 days ago)These guys were our estate agents for student rent from 2021-23. They are unbelievably useless, when we moved in the place had not be cleaned and the kitchen was unusable. Rotting food in the fridges and freezers, old used oil in containers on the counters, rusted out microwave that could not be used. Problems were never addressed, we had to sort it out ourselves. Not only this but when we moved in, having already paid 2 months of rent, they did not have the keys ready for us. Their communication and general management of the property is lazy.
31st Dec 2025 (6 weeks ago)Recently bought a house through Fulfords. I found them professional and easy to deal with. In particular Harry Copping went the extra mile to get answers to our queries in order to reassure us at a very stressful time. One suggestion - it would be helpful if, when staff are away on leave, they could have an auto-reply to that effect on their email to stop us waiting unnecessarily for a response. That said, we would recommend Fulfords and to Harry in particular - thank you so much for all your help.

7th Jan 2026 (5 weeks ago)Excellent service from the whole team at Symonds and Sampson. Held our hands throughout the whole process, and saw us through to a successful completion. Nothing was too much trouble, always super responsive to phone calls and emails, and in person, everyone couldn’t have been more friendly and professional! I hope we will not be buying and selling in the near future, as we hope we’re now in our forever home, but if we ever need to, would definitely use Symonds and Sampson again, they really care, we’re supportive, professional but with a family feel. We felt nurtured throughout the process, and would highly recommend to all people looking to either buy or sell a property. 5 stars are not enough!
4th Nov 2025 (14 weeks ago)We cannot thank Beth and her team (especially Nicky) for the exceptional patience, efficiency and professionalism extended to us in our painstaking housefinding and eventual wonderful property purchase in Axmouth. I'm afraid we have to confess we were not the easiest prospects to deal with but thanks to Beth we got there in the end! Thanks also for the welcome card and bottle of bubbly. We also used a company called D C Law in regards to the legal conveyancing which made the sale of our property run smoothly this was recommended to us by Fox and Sons. Five star service from all concerned.

16th Jul 2024 (1 year ago)GTH have managed to sell our property, albeit after 28 weeks but to be fair, at a very difficult time and in a stagnant sellers market. After 14 viewings we have managed to sell but at a price that is £60,000.00 under the original asking price due to the drop in overall property prices in the area.
7th Jan 2026 (5 weeks ago)After meeting several estate agents and getting valuations from all them, we were immediately impressed by Knight Franks professional and friendly approach plus their positive response to our property. Although we waited quite a long time to decide to proceed, Knight Frank were understanding, realistic, efficient and professional throughout. They prepared marketing materials, gave clear information about pricing, targeted appropriate clients for our property throughout a very difficult time. Florence Biss was our main contact and we cannot rate her highly enough, great communication, positive throughout and always responsive to our concerns. We ultimately achieved a positive outcome to a very complicated sale of house, land and outbuildings which I am not sure we would have achieved with some of the other companies. I am happy to recommend Knight Frank

We had our offer within 5 days thanks to Andy’s wonderful photos and they were so quick to respond to questions and help along the way. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough and wouldn’t use anyone else to sell our home in future.

Whether sharing his latest golfing or family anecdotes or diving into the nitty-gritty of contracts and small print, James has a gift for putting people at ease while ensuring clarity and precision. From our experience, one of the biggest stumbling blocks in negotiations is when parties are not fully aligned before a conversation takes place. James acts as the backdrop and container for these discussions, making sure that everyone is brought onto the same page. He keeps the conversation on track with seemingly little effort, and his ability to read situations and explain things clearly is invaluable. The service he provides goes way way beyond any other agent, and he quickly found us a buyer who actually got to completion. Tristan was available literally 24/7; we felt like we were his only clients (we weren't!) and he was highly professional and exceptionally flexible throughout. Having found us a buyer he chased the conveyancing process to ensure there were no delays, pushing to maintain momentum while also keeping a friendly, approachable manner. He gave good advice and steered us through difficult negotiations. We would 100% recommend him to anyone; he is absolute gold. Can't recommend him highly enough.
