4th Dec 2025 (14 weeks ago)How does this business make any money? Aren't they in the business of selling houses? A simple query like 'Can I talk to one of your valuers?' seems to be beyond them. I have rang this company 3 times over the last couple of months because I am thinking of putting my house on the market. The first time I was told the valuer would call me back. He never bothered. I rang again, and again was told the valuer was out on a call and would call me back. he never bothered. I rang a third time and asked to talk to the valuer. The lady at reception asked me questions and then went to talk to the valuer, I believe. Eventually, she hung up on me. Get your act together. You are in the business of selling houses. To sell houses, you need to talk to potential customers. When your receptionist tells a potential customer that you will call them back, then be true to your word and do so. Keep in mind how many estate agents there are in the Oadby area and you are competing with them for business. Answering telephone calls promptly and returning customer calls would be a good start for your business.

I know the staff and they know me, no changes which makes a real difference. Recently I sold a property too and David and his Team were completely on the ball. They are a local, family owned agent, that makes a huge difference. They know the market, the area and you can trust their integrity and judgement. Thank you Thorps for making a very stressful process manageable.

They provide an outstanding service to both me the landlord, and also the tenants. The team in the office are all very friendly, very efficient and polite. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs a professional estate agency to manage their buy to let investments.

Our team at Bid. have only recently partnered with Home Property Sales and they have already hit the ground running - it is clear they have a genuine interest in expanding the solutions they can offer to their clients. They are polite, proactive, and a pleasure to work with. It is clear as day that their buyers & sellers are in safe hands.

Initially told me all the windows and door keys were available but when it was time to hand over the keys he said they are lost. Overall not a good experience

23rd Jan 2026 (7 weeks ago)Shockingly Unprofessional and Disorganised This has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had with an estate agent. I was told exactly how to submit my application and offer, sent all requested documents, and was promised a response the same or next day. Instead, I was ignored for a week. After wasting my time, they then claimed I still needed to view the property,despite the fact that they had already shown my friend around and guided me through the process themselves. This excuse is ridiculous and shows how poorly they manage their clients. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic professionalism is unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to avoid this agency if you value your time.
