24th Oct 2026 (6 days ago)Our Home-Buying Journey – Zoe & Family ????????<br><br>I bought my first home in 2009, and over the years it has been filled with so many special memories. My children have grown, I’ve grown, and life has changed. With our family’s needs getting bigger, it was time to find a new home that would suit this next chapter of our lives.<br><br>We found that home through Nest, and then came the decision to put our own property on the market. Belle and Sara were fantastic from the start. They were professional, supportive, and made sure the photographs showcased all the hard work and love I had put into my home. The property was on the market and sold within a week!<br><br>This then created a chain of six properties. At this point, Nest had delivered everything we had initially agreed, and the legal process began.<br><br>Now, if you love efficiency, getting things done, and knowing where you stand, the legal side of moving house will certainly test your patience! ?????? It’s a long, drawn-out process, and “just hold tight” is much easier said than done.<br><br>My tip for first-time buyers? Keep chasing your solicitor! Regular check-ins are essential, as the process can take up to 16 weeks, sometimes longer. I was sitting at six months with my mortgage offer nearing its expiry, and we were still trying to get everything over the line.<br><br>This is where Nest really went above and beyond. The team didn’t just sit back and wait for things to happen. They were dedicated, proactive, and genuinely committed to helping us get our chain completed. Communication was key, and they had the ability to pick up the phone, speak directly to the people involved, and push for progress when things had stalled.<br><br>The legal process can be frustrating, especially when you feel that time is running out. My biggest lesson is to stay involved, keep asking questions, and don’t be afraid to challenge your solicitor when you need answers.<br><br>I cannot thank Sara, Debbie, Kerry, and the whole Nest team enough. We have finally EXCHANGED! ????????????<br><br>While I was in Egypt, anxiously waiting for news and worrying about my mortgage offer, Sara personally called me with the good news. That personal touch meant so much. The team were incredibly accommodating, listened to our concerns, supported us throughout, and helped us through what has been a very stressful journey.<br><br>Buying and selling a home is about so much more than bricks and mortar. It’s about your family, your future, and the memories you’re about to create. When things get difficult, having a team who genuinely cares and stands beside you makes all the difference.<br><br>Thank you, Nest, for helping us get one step closer to our new home and the next chapter for our family. He was extremely friendly, and very supportive, answering all my questions about the process along the way<br>My house sold within a week of being advertised which demonstrates Profile’s experience with the local market.<br>Extremely happy with the service and will certainly be using Profiles again in the future

They guided me through everything, from getting the flat ready to rent and explaining what I needed to have in place from a legal standpoint, to finding a tenant, which happened really quickly. At every stage I felt well looked after and never felt out of my depth. I’d happily recommend them to any landlord, especially anyone new to renting out a property.<br><br>Chloe was a massive help from start to finish. She was patient, knowledgeable and always happy to answer my questions, which made a huge difference as a first-time landlord. She made a process I’d been nervous about feel easy, and I’m really grateful for her support. Robinson Estates is lucky to have her.

I really appreciated you both making yourselves available at short notice to deal with the situation. Your knowledge and experience are second to none. I felt very comfortable taking the tenant to court, and I was even able to recover my court fees. I would highly recommend the landlord support service.

From the moment we switched, the difference was night and day.<br><br>We both sold our previous homes and purchased our new home through Alexanders, and the entire experience was fantastic. The team were professional, proactive, knowledgeable and, most importantly, genuinely cared about getting the right outcome for us.<br><br>Communication was excellent throughout. We always felt informed, supported and confident that everything was being taken care of. It's rare that I meet someone whose knowledge of property genuinely impresses me.<br>That was my experience with Harry Wards of Wards Estate Agents. Harry has an excellent understanding of the property market, strong local connections, and a professional, proactive approach that sets him apart from many others in the industry.<br>He and his team run a tight ship, communicate well, and provide what I would consider a premium service, all at a fair and competitive price.<br>I don't give praise lightly, but I wouldn't hesitate to use Harry again in the future. In fact, if I were looking to build a property team of my own, he'd be exactly the sort of person I'd want involved.

Also thanks to both Jack and James covering some of the viewings as well, all of which were extremely helpful and kept us up to date on the progress of these. Many thanks to Michelle who helped get the sale sorted through to completion. Again kept me well up to date, professional and helpful. When the solicitors were not very good at communicating Xchange really helped bridge that gap and do chasing on our behalf, which was massively appreciated too. Would definitely recommend
