29th May 2026 (11 weeks ago)I wouldn’t personally recommend dealing with this estate agent based on my experience. The property was described as being from a “quality builder”, but that didn’t stack up when I actually viewed them. There were issues that hadn’t been mentioned beforehand, which left me feeling like the listings didn’t give an accurate picture of what you’re walking into. Viewings themselves weren’t particularly useful. The agent seemed to have very little understanding of the properties and couldn’t answer basic questions, which made the whole process feel like a bit of a waste of time. Getting hold of anyone was also a challenge. Calls weren’t returned, and when I did get through, the interaction felt more like I was being brushed off than actually helped. The tone came across as quite condescending at times, which didn’t exactly inspire confidence. Overall, it felt like dealing with a small operation without the structure, preparation, or professionalism you tend to get from more established agents. There just didn’t seem to be the systems or attention to detail you’d expect when making such an important decision. My experience was also a long way off what some of the more positive reviews suggest, which I found hard to understand given the issues I encountered. I’d suggest anyone considering using them does their own due diligence and doesn’t rely solely on what’s presented. Disappointing, and not something I’d choose to repeat.

3rd May 2026 (15 weeks ago)We would highly recommend Howkins and Harrison. Maddie, Lauren and Eve are all extremely professional and so dedicated to what they do. Maddie kept us in the loop throughout the whole process which was stressful at times and kept in contact with our solicitor and notified us immediately about the current situation. We are extremely grateful and so happy we are now in our lovely new home. Moving is inevitably stressful but instructing Howkins and Harrison was the best decision we could have made. Thank you Howkins and Harrison for making a stressful process more endurable. With professionalism, friendliness and commitment. You’re a great team. Best wishes Jan and Francis.

Everyone was genuinely friendly, supportive and went above and beyond to help make it happen.<br><br>A special thank you to Amy and Denise, who were fantastic throughout the whole process. They were always approachable, kept me updated, and made everything as smooth and stress-free as possible.<br><br>I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. If you’re buying your first home, you’re in safe hands.
22nd Jul 2026 (23 days ago)I used mortgage advisor Cem to get onto the property ladder.<br>Cem has been a great support during a very difficult process, answering every query and worry call/email; being honest and upfront which has helped me to learn and develop my knowledge of the market process and still remaining supportive and positive for me with what I had chosen.<br>I was able to trust Cem to do what was best for me and my circumstances; changing the mortgage deal to get me a better rate. I am not worrying so much about what money I have leftover.<br>Furthermore, Cem has encouraged a meeting next year to plan ahead for my mortgage renewal. This helps my neurodiverse brain; no last minute stress and pressure if it was left until last minute and, helps me to financial plan.<br>Thank you Cem for all your help.

From the initial valuation visit through to completion they were very professional, always easy to get in touch with via phone or email . Special mention must go to Niomi who kept me updated throughout the sales process. A highly recommended company if you're looking to sell your property.
17th Jun 2026 (8 weeks ago)The customer service from this letting agency is appalling. I had a viewing booked. My 2 years old son suddenly fell ill and was rushed to hospital. I was in the hospital with no service attempted to call to cancel my viewing no answer. 45 mins before my appointment I also emailed to confirm cancellation as online it advised the place was not available until August. 1. Misleading information over the phone and online about a property. 2. Shocking behaviour from the agent who was raising his voice at me and telling me I’m black listed. Will be posting my reviews all over social media and making sure no one uses this company. They do not even know how to speak with customers. So rude and disrespectful. I will gladly be black listed from this agency. Thank god! Do not use them at all. Never ever would I recommend this company lack of empathy for my situation. Give false information and then have the cheek to be rude. Disgusting behaviour !

From the very beginning, she did not clearly explain the rental process or the requirements, and she showed very little interest in presenting the property in the way a professional letting agent should.<br><br>After my friend had already paid the deposit, she was informed that she could no longer rent the property. Different reasons were given, but they did not seem to reflect the real situation. It left us with the impression that they simply did not want to offer her the property.<br><br>The lack of transparency, poor communication, and unprofessional attitude made this a very frustrating experience. My friend is extremely disappointed with how she was treated and would not want anyone else to go through the same experience. I cannot recommend this service based on what happened.

The whole process from viewing the property to the day we got the keys only took 2 weeks which was amazing . Can’t thank Ewemove and Owen enough.

31st Jul 2026 (14 days ago)Selling and moving house is rated by many as one of the three most stressful experiences in life. After over 40 years of living in the same property and this being only my third ever house move I needed an estate agent who would look after me, act promptly in my best interests and take away much of the worry and stress. Jowett and Stone have done all of this. Friendly and helpful at all times and very good on follow ups and progress chasing. In office hours , I found that there was always someone to answer my call and if they couldn't help there was usually someone who could assist, or I would receive a call back within good time. My property is now sold subject to contract and all has gone well so far.
