15th Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)Update: I got awarded this house & I’m now the sole legal owner of the property! I’m selling it via Bridgfords. ——————————————————————— They have rented my house, without permission ‘again’ via my stbx husband. Notified them, but they still rent it out.. despite me telling them, Mohammed ‘stole’ the monies for a year & failed to pay the mortgage.. £12.5k in arrears! Had my solicitors contact them but they failed to respond. I’ve evidence of above. Called them today again, to be told to contact a Solicitor! I did, they wrote to them. My name is on the deeds, I’m also the LEGAL owner! I emailed & rang, but seem to get an answer on here: to answer your comment. We are JOINT legal owners. My solicitors have contacted Mohammed, he’s representing himself, he has no solicitor & he failed to respond. He fails to attend or comply to court orders. I advised you & your team that the house was due to be repossessed due to Mohammed not paying the mortgage for 16 months. But you still rented the property to unsuspecting tenants who are caught up in these matters. Is that how you treat your clients. Shocking!
30th Jun 2021 (3 years ago)Initially I was really happy with the service the Lettings team provided, well actually, just Tony. I negotiated a reduced price for finding tenants thou what I wasnt told at this point is this would result in a very poor after sales service. The final tenant moved in a month ago and I am still waiting for the meter readings for four apartments plus some unsigned documentation, now waiting for a copy of thier complaints procedure. My advice....AVOID if you want a complete professional service.

She was able to answer any questions I had regarding the property and kept me up to date at all times. I would strongly recommend Hunters Worsley to friends and relatives in the future.

4th Sep 2024 (16 days ago)This is a real shout out to Sophie and Courtney who managed the transfer of my property from a different company to Reed Rains. The transition was seemless and the property was rented out in no time. They kept an open communication with me through the process and were easily contactable when i had questions or doubts. Really important to have this sort of communication when the LandLord is additionally overseas. Credit to them indeed! I look forward to working with them and their organisation. Very impressed I am !
7th Feb 2022 (2 years ago)I was impressed by their knowledge of property prices in the area, leading to a realistic valuation and quick sale. The property was marketed overnight. We had a number of buyers in the first week, several of which made offers. They kept me in touch at all times and were very friendly and helpful on the phone. The sale went through very smoothly.
31st Jul 2024 (7 weeks ago)I have dealt with Chris for almost 10 years, I have bought x3 houses from him and sold x2 with him also. Great service every time. Honest from the get go and works with you to make sure you are making sure you are getting what is required. Always polite to people and even if he bumps in to you in his personal time on the weekend, he will always go out of his way to say hello. Jeanette & Lisa in the office also work wonders in keeping you up to date every step of the way. They all have a great relationship with the local solicitors which always helps for a quick sale. I would go to Chris every time.

They do help you so much and you can tell they care about what they do. I will honestly be recommending these guys to family and friends in future, and if we ever sell/buy in future, Irlam Estates is the first place I'll be calling. Dawn took brilliant care of us as first time buyers and kept us informed throughout the process. Dawn also recommended our solicitor and surveyor which we found really useful as first time buyers. Thank you for being so friendly, caring and helpful Dawn! Ashworth Holme really are a brilliant estate agents, they provide such a personalised, friendly service which you don’t always get with other estate agents. Without Kate & Dawn we would still be house hunting… thank you SO much for finding us our first time home. We are so grateful and will continue to spread the word to friends and family who might need an estate agent in the future.

I spotted a house of real interest and after a phone call a viewing was set up the very next day. A very friendly lady Kelly McDermott arrived early showed me around and explained the process of making an offer and buying a house. Thank you Thornley Groves Monton Office
16th Jul 2024 (9 weeks ago)They were very friendly and know the area well. The valuation was accurate as the other agents we saw all gave the same figure. The listing looked good and generated a lot of attention, however there was no conversion of viewings to offers, and no clear reason why this was the case. I'm sure we could have left the property listed with them for longer and it would have sold eventually but we did not have the time or energy for ongoing ad hoc viewings.
22nd Jan 2021 (3 years ago)We were buying a house and this did not go as smoothly as it possibly could have, although this was nothing to do with Oliver James. Ella was my point of contact and she was absolutely fabulous. She was either on hand to take my call or if she was out of the office Sally would be there to assist who was always equally as helpful. The sale did get a bit stressful and Ella always went above and beyond to chase the other parties for updates and answers to my questions. I cannot thank her enough - without her I don't think the sale would have gone through. When we went to pick the keys up I was handed a welcome pack which was such a lovely gesture and very much appreciated. This simple touch is both practical and very useful. I can't thank Oliver James' team enough - they are amazing!

The service received has always been of the highest standard with excellent communication from all staff throughout the process especially from Carol who we are currently dealing with. Would not hesitate in recommending them.

31st Jul 2024 (7 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could
