18th May 2023 (2 years ago)Huge thank you to Jeanette snd Mary who helped with the purchase of our new home. It was quite stressful for us at times and we had a few (a lot!) bumps in the road. We were very dependent on the team especially towards the end of the buying process for many reasons. I truly believe without their help on an almost daily basis we would still be waiting for the sale to have been finalised. We are now 4 weeks in our new home and are so happy. The stress long forgotten. The team are Very professional, very “on it” and also want to do the best for the buyer. Thank you all.

Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to ensure we were accommodated at every juncture, we had issues and they were sorted quickly and efficiently well done I would certainly use again, in fact would be my go to estate agents

Just an edit after a month after living in the property. Everything is great with the house and the tiny issues that have needed sorting along with our requests have promptly been sorted out by Rachel with no delays! Which has been brilliant, many thanks again.

3rd Oct 2025 (5 weeks ago)They were instructed in Feb and the sale (if it actually goes through) won't complete until Dec/Jan. I was contacted by at least 7 different people and each time they dropped the selling price by at least £5k but more often £15k. I was finally persuaded to sell to a cash buyer, but guess what, another lie.... Buyer will be getting a mortgage so not the 6 weeks completion but more likely 12 weeks. I don't think any of the Let Property representatives who I dealt with told me the truth. I deeply regret ever contacting them and would not advise anyone to use them.

The 3rd person to view the property made their offer upon 2nd viewing We wholeheartedly endorse Harpers Property People. Sterling Service!

Rena was incredibly professional and communicative throughout the whole experience and I can't imagine the process with a different agent! We really felt valued as people as opposed to being viewed as a number or sale, which unfortunately has been our experience at other agencies. We also felt we had the support of the whole team. Rena and the team made the whole move so easy for us from viewing a property they were selling through to putting our house on the market and then getting us through to completion. Outstanding service and would use again without a doubt!
1st Oct 2025 (6 weeks ago)Thank you to Scarlett and Wendy, we have been in touch with other estate agents in the area and I have to say that the service we have had from Brunton Residential Morpeth is head and shoulders above the other agents. Always there to speak to, do what they say when they say they will do it, great help as we are re-locating to the area. Efficient and friendly and no such thing as a daft question. I cant recommend these guys enough. Thank you, for all your help so far.
13th Oct 2025 (28 days ago)There’s guys are absolute crooks. Under no circumstances make an offer on a house through them, unless you want to have fake bids put in front of you to drive up pricing. They are without any honour or honesty and will lie again and again to hide their behaviour at every level. I have never seen anything like it, after putting a bid in for a house I was looking to buy against a totally fictitious other buyer at £20,500 over the advertised and reduced price of £95,000 (see attached image - totally crazy price, they told me I needed to bid for over £115,000) asking price, they then tried to make me bid against myself adding another £1,500 to the highest price (£117,000) which was already mine…… disgusting at every level. Buy from anyone else or expect to go through the same experience. Even when I escalated this to the branch manager (Steve Purve) he didn’t apologise, he just added to the lies and that just demonstrates a ‘culture’ of the worst behaviour I have ever seen in an estate agency. If your buy through them, you have been warned. To anyone selling and to the owner of the house, I was happy to buy for ‘cash’ at a fair lower price, so choose someone else to sell through, because your sale will be screwed up by this crew.
