7th Oct 2024 (16 days ago)We put our house on the market with Frank Innes after 25 years of living in the same house, so to say we were unsure of the process was an understatement but we have found everyone we engage with at Bingham extremely supportive and helpful, never showing frustration at the multiple questions we ask. They have guided and advised us on the best course of action but never pressured us in a particular direction, gave options and let us decide what is best for us. Thank you for all your help and support, what a brilliant team.

11th Oct 2024 (12 days ago)Hi I’ don’t normally leave reviews but I have to say for the past 6 months been trying to find a house we finally seen one with Whitegates estate agents and I’m so happy ,,,I forgot to get the ladies full name but she called Julie and what a great lady totally a credit to Whitegates really good customer service takes time to talk to us to find out our needs so definitely keep her at your company,,,I would also say the staff I spoke to on the phone in the Newark office were very good to actually seemed bothered sadly did nt get there names but also very helpful and wish all the estate agents in last 6 months were this good and hopefully we think we found a house which is totally down to Julie as she listened to us 1 house wasn’t quite right but she came back with hopefully the one we will hopefully be moving into so very very happy with Whitegates Newark branch your staff definitely go the extra mile
4th Oct 2024 (19 days ago)Purchase of (hopefully) our last home. Four moves in ten years to achieve this. The team were very accommodating with our wishes to visit the property multiple times. They were very calming on the last day when completion didn't happen until nearly 4:15 and were happy to have an agitated customer prowling in the office, whilst waiting for the keys.

Edward Stuart had very good reviews so we chose to advertise our house with them. 6 viewings and 2 offers have meant we can move on to looking for our next property with more confidence. They were polite, punctual and professional.
18th Mar 2024 (7 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

9th Sep 2024 (6 weeks ago)Initial experience with Sales was extremely good from the detailed tour of the house through to us presenting an offer for the property. Everything during the process was fine apart from we felt slightly pressurized receiving calls to try and hasten our Solicitor if possible for the completion of purchase only to find that there was actually an issue on the Vendors side which was delaying process and of which we were not aware. Apart from this, the service and staff were excellent.
10th Mar 2024 (7 mo. ago)Jon Brambles have been excellent from the start. I'm selling my mother's house, who has recently died and they have been sensitive and understanding of the needs to complete the probate requirements. It sold the same day it came on the market.
18th Jul 2024 (14 weeks ago)Wanted details on the Southwell Prebend house after a while I received it requested further information and a guidance on price and a viewing no reply a very well known Southwell resident who I visit discussed it with me ,I wasn't saying I was going to buy it but it would have helped if I was at the very least been given further information . Any how I gave up!! As far as I'm aware unless an agreement has been made which hasn't it should be open for a viewing.

5th Jul 2024 (16 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
