Originally the property was sold subject to contract, I asked if it 'fell through' please contact me, it did! Voila, we got it. I must single out Zoe, who was on the ball and an excellent connunicator, as were all I had contact with. Great service. Regards Victor and Lynn.

Steve, Jules, and Amelia were hands on from the start and the communication and support we received throughout a complex period was fantastic. Unlike some estate agents in the area who make promises that they do not fulfil, FHP provide a first class, personal service from start to finish.

OUR EXPERIENCE WITH SAVILLS WAS APPALLING.<br><br>ONE STAR IS TOO MANY!!<br><br>Our experience as buyers of a property marketed by Savills has left us with absolutely no confidence in them whatsoever.<br><br>We entered this purchase believing the vendors were involved in a normal onward property purchase. What we subsequently discovered was that they were actually buying a new-build property that had not yet been built.<br><br>That distinction was rather important to us. Had we understood the true position and the potential timescale from the outset, it could have materially affected our decisions.<br><br>Instead, we ultimately spent NINE MONTHS in rented accommodation waiting for the vendors to move.<br><br>During the process we were given the impression by the Savills selling agent that the vendors could move into rented accommodation or stay with family. Yet when the delays continued, we were subsequently told they could not do so.<br><br>As buyers, it felt as though the reality of the situation kept changing depending upon what was necessary to keep the transaction together.<br><br>Then came the fridge freezer.<br><br>The property had been marketed to us at a fixed price, with no offers, and there was an integrated fridge freezer housed within the fitted kitchen cabinetry. We were subsequently told that the vendor intended to remove it.<br><br>We disputed this.<br><br>After raising the issue, the Savills agent told us that she had sorted the dispute and that the fridge freezer WOULD BE STAYING.<br><br>After everything we had already endured, we relied upon that assurance.<br><br>Nine months after entering temporary accommodation, we finally completed, collected the keys and walked into our new home.<br><br>The integrated fridge-freezer housing was empty.<br><br>The appliance we had specifically disputed, and which we had specifically been told would remain, had been removed.<br><br>That neatly sums up our experience.<br><br>An estate agent acts for the seller—we fully understand that. What we expect, however, is for information given to prospective buyers to be clear, accurate and reliable. Buyers make enormous financial and practical decisions based upon what they are told during a property transaction.<br><br>We sold our home, moved into rented accommodation, paid the associated costs, waited nine months and ultimately purchased this property. We therefore had every right to expect straightforward communication.<br><br>Instead, our experience left us feeling that the seller’s interests were protected while we, as buyers, were expected simply to absorb whatever changed along the way.<br><br>I would certainly not trust verbal assurances from Savills again.<br><br>If you are buying a property through them, my advice based on our experience is simple:<br><br>Get EVERYTHING in writing.<br><br>Do not rely upon conversations about the vendor’s circumstances. Do not rely upon assurances about timescales. Do not rely upon statements about what is being left at the property. Have anything important confirmed formally through your solicitor before you make decisions or incur costs based upon it.<br><br>Perhaps our experience would have felt very different had we been the vendors. From a seller’s perspective, having an agent fight relentlessly for your interests may be exactly what you want.<br><br>But as buyers, we came away feeling managed rather than informed.<br><br>After nine months in rented accommodation and finally arriving at a house with an empty space where the integrated fridge freezer we had specifically been assured would remain should have been, I think that feeling is entirely understandable.<br><br>I would never choose to buy a property marketed by this Savills office again.

If we were to sell again we would choose Whitegates - and specifically ask for Julie! Went above and beyond in every way in what was a difficult process. Thank you Julie!:)
29th Oct 2026 (2 days ago)????? Some people make you feel at home before you've even moved in. When I first met Martha, it was a rather gloomy day. The weather wasn't particularly welcoming, but her smile was all the light and warmth I needed. From that very first moment, she made me feel genuinely welcome. Today, I met Spencer again, and he was just as wonderful. He patiently listened to all my questions and requests, helped me take measurements around the house, and went out of his way to make things easier for me. Not once did I feel rushed or that I was asking for too much. My experience with this agency has been truly different. It's rare to find an estate agency that genuinely cares about your interests and makes you feel like an old friend rather than just another customer. Moving to a new town and starting a new chapter can be daunting, but Martha and Spencer have made the whole experience feel warm, reassuring and exciting. Thank you, Martha and Spencer, not just for your professionalism, patience and help, but for the humanity and warmth you bring to your work. You haven't just helped me find a house. You've made me feel welcome in a town I'm about to call home. And that means more than you know. ??- 23rd Mar 2026 (7 mo. ago)Turned up to a viewing that they said they had no knowledge about even though i spoke to them on the phone with Phillip and confirmed it plus got email to confirm it and then they say they would ring me back to book in another appointment and spoke to abbie on the phone yet they haven’t been in touch and this has been over a week simply not good enough this was the property for 45 william street in newark not professional at all
21st Oct 2026 (10 days ago)Exceptional experience selling with Pygotts Grantham, the process from valuation, official listing to viewers and a sale was under 2 weeks which is exactly what we were hoping for to get a shot at buying a house we loved!<br>Luke came round out of hours and was really enthusiastic about our property, this gave a great feeling from the off.<br>The whole team throughout the process were brilliant, handled all viewings, key management for surveys, constant communications, and helping push the chain along every step of the way. Special shout out to Luke, Keelan, Demi & Rosie
18th Jul 2024 (2 years ago)Wanted details on the Southwell Prebend house after a while I received it requested further information and a guidance on price and a viewing no reply a very well known Southwell resident who I visit discussed it with me ,I wasn't saying I was going to buy it but it would have helped if I was at the very least been given further information . Any how I gave up!! As far as I'm aware unless an agreement has been made which hasn't it should be open for a viewing.

He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and his friendly, professional approach has made the whole experience so much easier. We couldn’t have asked for better service and would highly recommend Rob to anyone looking to sell their property.

From the initial contact we found GianFranco to be efficient, professional, proactive and thoroughly pleasant. He sold our property on the day of the first set of viewings and kept us informed all the way up to completion. I could not have scripted a more stress free experience myself. There should be a five star plus rating to do justice to excellence like GianFanco’s. Thank you on behalf of our family.

21st Oct 2026 (10 days ago)Benningtons were brilliant from start to finish. They began with an accurate, honest valuation, then put together a superb listing with stunning photography. Communication was excellent throughout, and the regular data updates on how the listing was performing were a great touch.<br>Once we'd secured a buyer, they stayed with us, guiding us through the legal process right up to exchange. Stu and Amber are knowledgeable, friendly and always on hand. I can't recommend them highly enough.

7th Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)Avoid Avoid Avoid.<br>Very disappointing and unacceptable service from Frank Innes Bingham<br><br>I would strongly advise anyone considering renting a property through Frank Innes in Bingham to think very carefully before proceeding. Our experience with their customer service from the very beginning has been extremely disappointing.<br><br>I would give one star only for the property viewing. Unfortunately, everything after that has been a very poor experience.<br><br>Frank Innes were fully aware that we were moving from Essex, yet we were asked to travel all the way to Bingham simply to sign the inventory document. I had to drive approximately six hours just to complete this paperwork, which was extremely inconvenient and unreasonable considering our circumstances.<br><br>However, the worst experience happened on the day we moved. We were already travelling with all our household belongings when we received a call informing us that the property had no electricity and that we would need to arrange this ourselves. This information should have been communicated to us well before our moving day.<br><br>It was a Saturday afternoon, and we were unable to contact the electricity supplier immediately. As a result, we were left without electricity and had to stay in a hotel for two days, despite having already moved our belongings and being ready to move into the property. This caused us significant inconvenience, stress and additional expense.<br><br>To make matters worse, we were provided with a mouldy fridge, which was extremely concerning from a hygiene and health perspective. We contacted Frank Innes multiple times by email regarding these issues, but received little to no response.<br><br>We even went personally to the Bingham office to try to resolve the situation. Instead of actually dealing with the problem, we were simply told to send an email. We showed the staff the emails we had already sent, and we were then told that a message would be sent internally so that someone could respond. This is not the level of customer service I would expect from a professional letting agent.<br><br>The whole experience has been incredibly stressful, especially when you are moving your entire household from another part of the country and relying on the letting agent to ensure the property is ready for occupation.<br><br>Communication has been extremely poor, the handling of the move was unacceptable, and the lack of response to our concerns has been very disappointing.<br><br>Based on our experience, I would not recommend Frank Innes Bingham to anyone looking for a property to rent. If you are considering renting through them, I would strongly suggest making sure everything is confirmed in writing before moving in and checking that essential services and facilities are actually available.<br><br>This has been an awful experience from beginning to end, and I sincerely hope other tenants do not have to go through what we have experienced.
