They made me feel like a nuisance for wanting to know what was happening with my own property. They didn’t pass information on and also let the tenant answer questions about my property from my buyers which was inappropriate

Being a first timer with no clue and lots of worries, Liz went above and beyond to make us feel at ease and cared for, always having time for us and helping in anyway she could. We are very impresed with the service we received from the Savills Lincoln team - and specifically from Rupert (Roo) Fisher in the sale of our property. Having obtained valuations of our property from several agents it was an easy decision to choose Savills to market our property. This decision was primarily based on our interaction with Roo Fisher and how his professional manner inspired our confidence in him and Savills as an organisation that he represented. We really appreciated the fact that Roo was our key contact throughout the process. He was readily available at all times, communicated well and clearly took personal responsibility for the sale. He was comsistemtly professional, yet friendly, in his approach to the sale. Due to circumstances beyond Savills control, the sale was rather protracted. Nonetheless we had regular personal updates from Roo and advice about new marketing strategies and help in facilitating barriers to the sale. We greatly appreciated the clarity and responsiveness of communication from the entire Savills Lincoln team at all times - both by phone and by emai. Phone calls/answerphone messages were nearly always followed up by a confirmation email. What really impressed us was the fact that the entire Savills Lincoln team seemed to really know about us the property and our personal circumstances, even through we did not have the opportunity to meet them all in person, and that they genuinely had a real interest and concern in acting on our behalf. The impression we gained of how the Savills team in Lincoln function is that of a very professional, courteous, harmonious and cohesive team. They take real pride in their work and, while the sale of a house is a business transaction, they made it a very positive interactive experience for us as clients. Well done to the entire Savills Lincoln team!

9th Apr 2024 (9 days ago)If I could give a lower rating I would. To start, for the year+ we lived in a property rented via Rex gooding we lived in damp, that bad I became ill and had to visit my GP costing time out side of work. When we tried to raise this with them it was brushed of or they would send a ‘handy man’ to simply ‘look’ at the problem NOTHING was resolved and told to just clean it! They sent a team to fit an extractor fan for the bathroom but then we discovered 9 months down the line they had decided to pull out of that. There ‘inspections’ are someone Turing up and taking pictures of the house and leaving, completing ignore the black walls from damp. We were told that our emails would be passed to the correct account holder for our property, Stewart, and they would contact us. He never did. When we decide to leave the property due to health reason, this experience was disgusting. We left the property in better condition than when we arrived and was faced with a battle to get our deposit back which was £900+. I have only just received it back and we have been out of the property 6 weeks! When I contacted Rex Gooding they were not at all helpful, I was told it was not there problem and they couldn’t do anything about it and that it’s with DPS to sort. Even though they were the ones who could not contact the landlord to request it back, when I asked to speak to Stewart he always seemed to going out and would call me back, he never did, therefore I had to chase them and he would not want to talk to me. In the end I had to go legal to get my deposit back. I would avoid this agency at all costs!! Photos of the damp attached.

Unfortunately we were misled about improvement to the property (double glazing) and after a year misled that landlord wanted a new contract.

She’s explains everything amazingly so I can understand it all! She’s always there to support and help on any piece of paper work within minutes of emailing. (Quite a lot I’ve asked questions) Looking forward to my next stages of my adventures with her supporting me! 10 out of 10 ??????????

9th Apr 2024 (9 days ago)Julie was a delight to deal with and I am sure she would have been tenacious and got the deal through smoothly if a buyer had been found. Drawback 1 was made clear to us at the outset but we did not appreciate the importance of them being a franchise i.e. each branch is out for themselves rather than a sharing attitude of a nationwide company. Drawback 2 ...Victoria was very professional and assured us she would do all of our viewings. This happened for approx 3 months, after that Julie did them and we literally heard nothing from Victoria again it seemed to us that she had lost interest. Every potential buyer (16 viewings) gave the same feedback.....parking, but Winkworth did not seem to be proactive about addressing this with buyers. Our eventual selling agent only managed to do 2 viewings, both parties offered and neither mentioned parking. I appreciate that we reduced the price when we changed agents but the parking 'problem' didn't magically disappear.

12th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)My daughter was let down by Newark branch . Misleading advertising on property she was going to buy they said it had uPVC double glazing and garage . Wooden framed windows plus dilapidated garage built of asbestos that needs pulling down and taken away . All Ready to exchange contracts. She has lost thousands thanks to their lies.
