The Team has been excellent throughout my tenure and appreciate their support, at times, beyond their scope. Wishing them good luck and great time ahead!
26th May 2018 (7 years ago)So far we have had good experience with them. They have been prompt and efficient. Marketed the house quickly including professional photos and we've already had several viewings within the first few weeks. Would definitely recommend them.
19th Feb 2026 (26 days ago)Wouldn't recommend this company jobs reported when vulnerable take over a week to sort out can never get hold of who you need to calls never get returned antisocial behaviour doesn't get sorted I've moved from bad to worse a day late on rent they soon contact you though.... looks like I'm house hunting again. I've reported numerous times the same people to no avail it's got to the point I've said forget it also if you unfortunately do get housed with this company please check bins before deposit rent and tenancy is signed mine was all full infested and took them over 4 months to empty the council refused rightly so as its the company and landlords fault also check your out house mines still full it's terrible. Especially when the rents so expensive aswell
24th Nov 2025 (16 weeks ago)These guys will choke u you for a viewing, tell the landlord to humble himself a bit there are many apartments in nottingham, they wanted me to sign a contract which include a rent increase, first time i have ever seen, will treat u badly. Edit: they have really tried to come back to me, and ali was a very respectful and sincere guy and apologized for everything and took alot of time to be clear with me, ali the best guy

He went into great detail explaining the process and how it would proceed. Jess and Reo came out to view and get a feel of the properties lay out ready for possible buyers. I received weekly updates throughout after agreeing for Bairstow Eves help sell my property. They were both pleasant, friendly and professional in their duties and any advice or help I needed. My house sale was completed on 10th February 2026 and I have been very happy with all their help in the process. Great team. Thank you Kind regards, Paul

Emma made what can often be a stressful time feel smooth and straightforward. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and even after I had moved in, she went above and beyond to assist me with an additional matter. That level of care and support truly made a difference. Your Move has definitely been the best… spot on from start to finish. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Outstanding service all round! Thanks again.

20th Feb 2026 (25 days ago)I wish I had instructed Paul to sell my property initially because it had languished with 2 well known agents for Months without any sensible sale plan/updates. Paul offered straight talking, no nonsense advice. We had an offer within days of the viewings. Go with an agent who is as committed as you are to sell and will add valuable insight to the process. You won't be disappointed with Paul.
3rd Mar 2026 (14 days ago)Moved from Kent to Newark WH Brown were the Estate Agents for the Newark property so we weren’t paying them. We had a positive experience with good communication from Poppy, India and Tiffany especially when there were delays at the top of the chain. They never made me feel like I was bothering them and I did call a lot.

9th Mar 2026 (8 days ago)A speedy and professional job by Rod, Aaron and all the staff I dealt with Alexander Jacob. I'll try to keep this short; I had a small property for sale in Retford which had been rented for a while with another estate agent in town and I asked what they thought I could get on a sale and after an extensive discussion they suggested it be marketed at £80k and wouldn't budge on it. I was never going to accept this and a third party(thank you Shane!) suggested I speak with Rod, he told me £100k would be easily achievable and indicated a little work be done, which came to less than £1k and was arranged by AJ, and I sold for £110k. I'm not suggesting that this will be everyone's experience but Alexander Jacob clearly have a far, far better grip on how the local market is trending than some other estate agents in town.- 5th Jan 2026 (10 weeks ago)Olly was brilliant from the start kept us informed till the end . 10th Mar 2026 (7 days ago)Initially we decided to use Leaders because of the enthusiasm of Lisa, who came out to do the appraisal. Once we had a buyer, the negotiation on price started. We advised Chloe of our minimum selling price, adding 'this is just between us'. Less than five minutes later, she came back to us, sounding pleased with herself and advising that the buyer would meet our minimum selling price. There didn't seem to have been much negotiation in those few short minutes. Maybe we should have made it clear that the minimum was just that; a minimum, not the price we wanted to sell at. Yvonne was our sales progressor and we were not impressed with her lack of contact. A couple of times we gave her information but got no reply to our emails. We were in contact with our solicitor regularly and Yvonne did chase information from the solicitor on one occasion that we had already been given by them. Overall, the sale went through very smoothly and quickly but we think that was more to do with our solicitor being very proactive and our contact and chasing of them. We have sold a number of properties over the years and Leaders sits somewhere in the middle of the agents we have used.

We needed good communication as we were selling from abroad and from start to finish the PGM team were polite, efficient and effective. Thankyou guys. Can't recommend highly enough. Will use again.
