From early advice on pricing and marketing- including a PR article with photo of our house in the FT. Organising viewings was done well often with the fabulous Carol and Sandy in charge. With the stress of exchange particular thanks to Victoria for keeping us sane and on track.
26th Jun 2024 (11 weeks ago)Although we were busy and got a lot of viewings, I ended up showing all the people around. They had very little interaction with us after viewing. The pictures were very dark and then estate agent, not a photographer came out to retake. I will say they were very good at getting me feedback, which was very useful. I also had opportunities to be advertised in London which I didn't have the chance to take up.

25th Aug 2024 (17 days ago)I chose them even though they were more expensive than my other two shortlisted ones, because I thought, after the initial contact, I would get excellent customer service. But no, emails not answered and messages not passed on. Had to keep chasing them for information I had requested. From initial contact despite travelling he was great from outset. He was accommodating for us to view the property and has always answered any questions promptly. Didn't feel like we were working with a business for our home purchase, Ivor is down to earth, friendly yet still professional. We have saved his number and will definitely keep in touch. We are settled in our new home with huge thanks to Ivor for his support. Thank again Lafford James Team!

12th Oct 2021 (2 years ago)This agent is also known as Vantage homes after one year of asking for my property back I got the keys back on 25th July 2021 the house was totally trashed and they would not honour their contract of leaving it in good order also even though the garage was not part of the letting it was full of rubbish left by the tenant which I had to remove at my own cost They still have not paid me at least £1700 and don’t answer my calls I am now in the process of contacting the relevant council they deal with PLEASE DO NOT USE their services otherwise you will regret it like me

Selling an unoccupied property was always going to be a challenge but this delightful team, in particular Kristie and David, were professional, knowledgeable and friendly throughout. Their regular communications with me, from a distance as I live in Shropshire, was outstanding and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Their attention to detail and their respect for my father’s property went above and beyond. I cannot thank them enough for all their care and hard work.

Called the office several times spoke to someone said Hi I'm Tash also said I'll call you back still waiting actually she had no clue anyway so I've taken my business elsewhere my advice would be don't rely on them to sell your property

9th Sep 2024 (2 days ago)Initial experience with Sales was extremely good from the detailed tour of the house through to us presenting an offer for the property. Everything during the process was fine apart from we felt slightly pressurized receiving calls to try and hasten our Solicitor if possible for the completion of purchase only to find that there was actually an issue on the Vendors side which was delaying process and of which we were not aware. Apart from this, the service and staff were excellent.

7th Sep 2024 (4 days ago)They valued our property within a price band that other agents had also suggested. After 4 weeks on the market they insisted that we immediately drop the price by 10%. This scuppered our plans to relocate to a similar quality house and will mean reducing our standard of accommodation. All this has left our life in limbo and wasted 12 months of our lives. Booked viewings were cancelled at the last minute
