Special mention to Zoe, whose exceptional people skills made a real difference. She kept us informed at every stage, ensuring we felt comfortable and confident in all our dealings with the process. The entire team made what could have been a stressful time feel smooth and straightforward – this includes the extremely efficient and helpful telephone staff that often took our calls and reassured us. Highly recommend Brown and Co for anyone looking to buy or sell – they truly go above and beyond.

21st May 2026 (30 days ago)We've recently sold our house with Mark Rice. Ben carried out our valuation and was incredibly helpful from the very start. He was passionate, super knowledgeable, and really filled us with confidence which made our decision to use Mark Rice to sell our house really easy. He took the time to get to know us and our home, we really appreciated that there was never any pressure put on us. Laura supported us throughout the sale process and was absolutely amazing. She kept us updated every step of the way, answered every query quickly, followed up on everything she said she would and was endlessly patient with all our questions! She never once made us feel like we were pestering and her kindness, reassurance, and genuine investment in our journey took so much stress away from the process. We are so grateful for all of her support. A huge thank you as well to Jill and Frances, who were always so kind, responsive and helpful whenever we contacted the team and had any queries. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better team and would highly recommend them to anyone buying or selling a home.

They ensured that what is -with the best will in the world - rather a stressful process, became as hassle-free an experience as possible. What is more, they found us a buyer incredibly quickly. Our sales negotiator at the Stamford office, Ms Mason, responded extremely sensitively to the type of property we were selling and therefore ensured that only the most sympathetic of potential viewers were shown around the house. Thereafter, all subsequent sale negotiations were handled speedily, courteously, and to everyone’s satisfaction. We would not hesitate to use Savills in Stamford again – and indeed, are about to do so!
14th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Wouldn’t use this agent again to help find a property. Communication was very poor throughout the process. We viewed a property back in February and were initially told the landlord wouldn’t accept our application. Later, after the property had not had many viewings, they accepted an application from us. We were completely transparent from the start about a recently paid-off CCJ. After going through referencing, we were left waiting only to eventually be told the landlord decided not to proceed after another interested party came along. This could and should have been communicated much earlier. The agency seems to prioritise landlord decisions at the expense of customer care and basic communication. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

We have known some of the team for over 20 years, admiring and respecting their achievements. What we didn’t know was exactly how good the team is. Emily was the driving force behind our initial sale (congratulations mummy) which through not fault of the company fell through. Undeterred and with the help of Joe and Lucinda, the team managed to find a new buyer Tina took over the reins and ensured everything went smoothly and quickly to a successful conclusion. A massive thank you to the entire team. You were outstanding and always kept us up to date.

Nothing was too much for them. The only reason I gave 3 stars for value for money is that I think Estate Agents fees (all of them) are too high. I would 100% recommend Starkey and Brown. Thank you ??????

The viewing was nicely timed without being rushed and follow-up emails sent on as promised. Having used Newton Fallowell as agents quite a few years ago for my rental properties & now a tenant myself - it really is a refreshing change to know that you are in good hands. I do believe that they are a company that are looking after the best interests of both the tenants and landlords. Highly recommended !
24th May 2024 (2 years ago)This is the third time I have used Pridea to sell a property. Exactly the same experience every time. The property sells quickly with one robust sale that goes through to completion. Not my experience of using other estate agents in the area.

13th Feb 2026 (18 weeks ago)Initially Newton Fallowell appeared keen on the premises. Property on the market for five months, no viewing, no information from the agents. Incentive offered to the sales person who sells the property offered. Contact with agents who wanted to drop the price by £30k in January. None of the houses of similar value who have lowered their prices have yet to be sold. They only want to advertise on right move etc.

Despite numerous challenges that were no fault of hers, Vicky remained positive and professional at all times. She was upbeat, solution focussed and never once lost heart or patience with me. You only find out how good someone is when they come up against a problem and I can tell you - Vicky and the team at Maynard’s are absolutely first class!

Nothing was too much, he gave his all and helped and updated me constantly. I am so very grateful for everything he did and the support I got before during & after I got my tenancy agreement. I had dealing with a couple of others at Connells and they too were amazing. Thank you James for everything, I highly recommend Connells.
