Ben Rivett was an invaluable source of advice, both at the planning and valuation stages. The quality of his recommendations helped us readily achieve a very good sale. Natalie Howlett- Clarke handled the negotiation and completion stages with great professionalism. Her communication and responsiveness were first rate. Moreover, I really enjoyed working with Ben and Natalie for their friendliness, honesty and good humour, as well as for their high level of professional capability.
17th Jun 2024 (6 weeks ago)This afternoon I Rang Oswicks halstead office to see if our application had been accepted for a 3 bedroom property with two double rooms and a third described as a small double that we viewed, liked and applied for. It was to my suprise that I was met by no prior knowledge that I had even registered interest and not on the list of people to contact, the covering staff called her colleague Vicky who dealt with us and called me back. At this point the story changed a number of times during the conversation , when I asked about how I would have even found out if I was successful or not (because my details wernt passed over) , apparently there was no list in front of her at the time of my first call (convienient). The outcome was that I was told that we were declined due to having three young children and that the house would be too small…..initially I was told this view was both of vicky and the landlord, however was quickly backpeddled and the landlord was thrown under the bus when I expressed my dissapointment in their business. For context The house was larger than the property I am in now and all of my children are doing great and much like many other people in this climate we can’t afford a four bedroom property. The whole process stunk of incompetence and unfair ways of determining who is right for the property or not, unlike most other estate angents where the applicant gets to offer a cover letter to suggest why they would be the right tenant for the property, in oswicks it is all completed by the estate agent visiually making an assumption of your character during your very short window to view the property, they then decide without any further input. Not that it was an issue with my application but most likely considering how much you earn as a deciding factor. My advise is to steer well clear of this company, however if you do attend a viewing then put a suit on, make sure you don’t have any children as they are discriminated against and talk in the poshest accent, either that or bribe the estate agent as the process is left completely open to corruption and nothing would suprise me. Usually I’m an advocate of supporting a smaller business, but not in these circumstances I would sooner live on the streets then know that a percentage of my rent is going into their business account, stick with the big names for professionalism and fairness.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thankyou to them, for their support and help during this time. In particular Sophie, Nicole and recently Harley. I was a nervous first time landlady and hadn't got a clue how it all worked. I am grateful for their professionalism, experience and patience in guiding me through the years. If I find myself needing a letting agent, I will be back without hesitation. 24th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)from then outset of us having an interest in the Propery Curtis and Ben where the model of professionalism. We were moving from a long distance to Norfolk and they helped us every way they could from a virtual viewing to daily updates in progress. Curtis also met us out of hours at 8.30pm on a Saturday night to sign us in. All in all a very positive experience and we would recommend them to anyone looking for a Home Rental.

From initial contact despite travelling he was great from outset. He was accommodating for us to view the property and has always answered any questions promptly. Didn't feel like we were working with a business for our home purchase, Ivor is down to earth, friendly yet still professional. We have saved his number and will definitely keep in touch. We are settled in our new home with huge thanks to Ivor for his support. Thank again Lafford James Team!

The valuer was honest and gave tip's on how to present the property to highlight it's best features. All communitcation was clear and accurate right through to completion.... and we recieved a very good offer very early in the process. The sale went very smoothly from beging to end
26th May 2022 (2 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

9th Jul 2024 (18 days ago)They are very professional and friendly. Communication has been incredible, much better than my previous experience with estate agents. They were very quick when putting the house on the market, they took photos on a Friday and the house was on Rightmove by 11am on the Monday. I got an offer on the house within a week off the house being put on the market. Very good estate agents, I would definitely use them for my future house sales.

30th Apr 2024 (13 weeks ago)Initially they talked the talk and were very helpful but once the property was sold they started pushing for us to move out early (which we refused to do) presumably so they could get their commission. The communication in the period between sale and completion was minimal from their side until Ozzie became the "contact" person and we cannot praise him enough.

Professional, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. We were not local to Kings Lynn and Sowerby`s were recommended to us, and we were not disappointed.

5th Jul 2024 (22 days ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
