We've recently completed the sale so a property and can't thank the staff at Michael Hardy (Wokingham) enough for all their hard work and perseverance in selling a property with a limited market. Barnaby Styer has been most helpful in keeping us up to date with the progress and making sure the property was continually visible on a multitude of different media. Sara Ankerson has been a great help, as have everyone in the Wokingham office. Would recommend them to anyone considering selling a property and looking for a highly professional service. Ben Kitson in particular was excellent to work with; very organised, efficient, pragmatic and personable, we valued his judgment and he kept the sale moving for us. Ballards also have a great photographer who did an excellent job with the sales photos, I think this really helps. Overall would recommend Ballards to anyone

Although we ultimately decided not to proceed with a purchase at this time, I felt it was important to share how impressed we were with the exceptional service we received. From the very beginning, Wayne was professional and incredibly accommodating. He took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for, and each viewing was thoughtfully selected and well-organised. Communication was always clear and timely, and we felt genuinely supported throughout the process. What truly stood out was Wayne’s commitment. 14th Oct 2024 (7 mo. ago)We are having a nightmare with this company. We have now rented a property with them for a year. We turned up to the viewing, sat there for 10 minutes and no one showed. We called the office to be told they forgot to book it in and it would need to be rebooked, we had driven 4 hours to view this property as we were relocating so told them they had to send someone out. We were then rushed through the viewing. We ended up going ahead with the property and had no problems with this part of the process. However, anything that requires any form of management from Martin&Co is horrendous. They have 2 months to complete a gas safety check but left it to the last week they could legally have it done and then Oliver had a go at US for not being able to take a day off work to let them in. We got told it wasn't possible for them to give us a timed slot so we called British Gas ourselves and got told it was possible they just had to request it, M&Co wouldn't, so we did and I was able to work it around my job (but had to organise everything myself). We then got contacted about our yearly inspection, we called and booked it in for my day off, they never showed up. We called to find out that once again, they didn't book it in. We live in Wokingham but half of our communication comes from the Staines branch. We then got emailed 3 days before rent due to say they were changing the account we needed to pay, we went on to set it up and the bank stated it looked like a scam payment based on the account, we contacted the landlord as it was a Sunday and he said he hadn't authorised any bank change, so it did look like a scam! However, after contacting a very rude woman at M&Co they stated THEY were changing the bank account and we have no right to talk to our own landlord and to pay them immediately and we were lying about the warning from the bank (proof attached). We are on a fully managed contract and have had to organise everything ourselves so far, which is ludicrous. We are fed up with communication from this company and would never rent with them again.

Although the process took longer than expected due to issues further up the chain (through no fault of our own), Karl was genuine, honest, and kept us informed every step of the way. He was thorough, and whether it was a call back or an email, he always got back to us very quickly. Despite the challenges, Karl did everything he could to keep things moving. It's clear why the agency has such a great reputation in the area. Highly recommended.

Sarah Blake in the Wokingham office was excellent. She has been in regular contact with me and has such a great way with her clients. She has outstanding knowledge of the market to. A big thank you to Lydia Oge as well. When I was getting valuations from various Estate Agents Lydia stood out by miles. She was the reason I decided to come to Sears to Sale my property.
