10th May 2022 (2 years ago)Crapper and Haigh Swallownest were amazing from my first visit by John Francis to value my house to the girls in the office who agreed a sale in 3 days well above the asking price and kept in regular contact with me until we completed. They were always there when I needed them and always returned my calls.

We were advised by a close friend who had used this estate agent recently and had highly recommended them to us to speak with them for advice. From the first moment on the phone speaking with Tariq we felt at ease and were happy for his clear explanation of what would happen throughout the sale process. Tariq, Eric, and Taylar were always welcoming and responded within the day any questions we had by either phone or email. Absolutely fantastic. We highly recommend anyone wishing to sell, purchase, or rent out there property to speak with these people. Simply perfect!!!
1st Jun 2022 (2 years ago)I have made a big investment with Alesco and they absolutely let me down. They provided very poor investment advice which resulted in a big financial loss. I doubt if I ever get my money back. Additionally, some 30 investors that were invested in the same investment had big financial loss as well. The business model of Alesco is based on very aggressive marketing. They put much pressure on you to buy, and the only thing they care about is sales at the expense of the investor. They are immoral and do not care about you and your hard earned money. I have been trying to reach out and talk to them but they avoid and lie to me systematically. I left another review in the past which was positive, but it was very early on and before I realised what is going on and lost my money. Never invest with Alesco.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

31st Oct 2024 (21 weeks ago)Naomi, the manager took over £300 from my deposit for no justified reasons. Balcony something broke due to weather, on me. Dirty mattress prior, i used topper, still charged. Cleaning and oven cleaning over £100. Many things where X1 will need to cover for maintenance but they'll finesse tenants and make them liable.
25th Oct 2024 (21 weeks ago)If i could I would give zero star. After several attempts to phone them or email them they just refusing to refund deposit of unsuccessful application. In short pure hoax. Be aware! Update Oct 15 2024 … Deposit what was paid from July 03 for applying it’s not refunded till this day. With this company money flow in one direction. But even better was the personal phone call at no extra cost that went through everything, and gave me the opportunity to ask questions. Its hard to make decisions when purchasing a house as a single woman but I feel more secure thanks to Price Linsey and I would definitely use them again.
