4th Feb 2026 (7 days ago)Zack was an absolutely fantastic point of contact managing the purchase of my house; responsive and proactive in helping chase up queries with both the vendor and solicitors helped me complete my purchase and move really quickly (about a month and a half!) I've had a lot of contact with Estate Agents and Zack was by far the sharpest and most proactive I've had the pleasure of associating with. Thanks again mate!
30th Jan 2026 (12 days ago)Recently rented a property through Lancaster's and the service was absolutely abhorrent. Were quick to get us in for a viewing and then proceed with the application but from then on any correspondence was at a bare minimum. Spent weeks chasing the letting agent (Daniel) for any answers, eventually finding out we'd got the property a few days before we planned to move. I have since found out that our landlord accepted us as soon as we applied and was having the same issues on his side and only found out we were moving into the property a day before we moved. On moving, we were only given a front door key. Landlord claims he gave the back door key too but this was lost by the letting agents. The property is a let and forget, meaning that after we had moved, any repairs or issues would be dealt with by the landlord direct; though it took three and a half weeks of emailing, phoning and eventually threatening to go stand in the shop and cause a scene for me to be given my landlords details so I could speak to him direct. This is all after Daniel begged me to leave a good review online (so glad I left it until I was dealing with the landlord direct). Overall a terrible service. I have worked in customer relations my entire working career and the service received was diabolical. Do thankful I now have to deal with the landlord and not Lancaster's direct anymore. Proceed with caution.
12th Jan 2026 (30 days ago)I would recommend Simon Blyth to everyone, we have recently used them for two sales and a purchase and their service is excellent. Maria and her team at Penistone are calm and supportive in the most stressful of situations, they are always at the end of the phone to alleviate even the smallest of worries and go above and beyond. There was no pressure during valuation, very honest and clear advice was given and they have gone above and beyond. Our situation hasn’t been the easiest but I wouldn’t have wanted to work with any other agent. Maria chases sales very efficiently and has also liaised with our purchase and done everything possible to help us. Thank you so much 10/10.

1st Feb 2026 (10 days ago)This is probably the worst letting agent in Yorkshire. Indecent people. Avoid them at all cost. If you're looking for a room to rent, try the spare room app. They change employees often. I can imagine why. The manager has low standards, apparently. Don't waste time on them. I have been woken up multiple times during the last few years by them, and they don't respect that I work on the night shift despite asking them not to do it. It is simple, but they like to play games. I tell everybody I can avoid them and my friends have the same opinion about this agent. I'll give you another example: the property had to go through an electrical installation assessment and receive an EICR certificate. The contractor did not receive keys for closed rooms on the property and had to visit the g8 office in the middle of the procedure. Don't you think that he should receive the keys before assessment? Don't you think that there are some serious communication issues in the office? Amateurism at full throttle. Next example: the carpet in one of the rooms in the property had to be replaced. Do you think this agent will make any arrangements with you or at least send notice? Forget about it. This requires too much effort. Do you work at night and sleep during the day? That's not a problem for them! They will send a contractor who will wake you up. Another example: don't keep your floor mop in the kitchen because the cleaner will steal it. That's what has happened to us. Another example: They aren't treating clients with respect. This time, they entered my roommate's room, grabbed his acoustic guitar and started singing. Of course, I was woken up. Is this normal? I would not handle my property to such amateurs.

Whilst my sale had issues (from the other side), they kept me fully informed and even helped my buyers with paperwork. Couldn't ask for a better level of service. Would use them again in a heartbeat were I to sell again.
18th Oct 2025 (17 weeks ago)I had a good and bad experience with Nestledln. The valuation , photos and videos of my house were fantastic. Very knowledgable and very friendly. Very quick turn around to get my property advertised. Communication was great at first but then it dropped off . I felt like they were not really giving me pointers to how I could help to sell my house . I also was wanting to buy a house from them as well and put an offer in on a property they were selling. They could not seem to marry the two together that I was wanting to buy and sell from them . I had a phone call about the property I was wanting to buy and I was asked how i was getting on selling my own home . I said well you are selling it and the lady had no idea they were also selling mine aswell . They also did not let me know the house I had an offer in for had been sold to someone else . I had to learn on social media that it was sold . When I rang to ask they had no intention of letting me know it was just “ oh yes it’s be sold to someone in a better position “ . This is fine it happens but I do think they should let you know . I did think the communication could be so much better . I chose to take my home off the market and not to sell . My house is no longer on the market. They are a very friendly team and lovely to talk to. When I chose to take my house off the market the lady that I spoke to was so lovely and wished me well .

He has excellent knowledge of my village and the local area which I believe was a contributing factor in the sale of my property. Rob was friendly and professional at all times.

Mallinson took all the stress and dealt with matters quickly and efficiently on my behalf. Such a smooth transaction, the For Sale board went up on the Tuesday and by Thursday the property was sold!! Such superb marketing! Thank you to all the team who were involved it was really appreciated.
