3rd Sep 2024 (8 days ago)We didn’t think of asking anyone else to sell our house, Paul Wallace had sold it to us originally along with every other house on a small new build estate, and done the resales in the 10 years since. We’d seen a house we wanted to buy and were keen to secure a sale in order to be proceed-able and put an offer in. We met Peter Gold from the Hoddesdon office and listened to his view on value, on other recent sales, and followed his advice on what level to price the house at in order to achieve our objective. He had a few viewings in a short space of time and then received an offer at asking price, his advice on value worked brilliantly. Peter and his team were superb throughout, often helping in the conveyancing process with queries and keeping us all on track with a level head and practical approach. I couldn’t recommend him and his team strongly enough.

20th May 2024 (16 weeks ago)Tyne at Lanes has been brilliant from the start. Really knowledgeable and helpful on the two viewings I had, really lovely and personable and great to deal with. Very happy with Tyne throughout the process, including post offer acceptance. If I decide down the line to sell a property, I will keep Tyne in mind! The few interactions I had with other members of the team/management were great as well. I've had one or two bad experiences with other estate agents in the past, but would definitely recommend Lanes.

I spoke to a number of agents before choosing Kieth Ian, who seemed the most professional, transparent and least salesy, while being competitively priced. They got the house on the market within a few days and got an offer within a week after that. Throughout the process Jordan was clear, honest and patient, and the only person who gave me any clarity/ honestly through the sale after having challenges with solicitors. Could not recommend any higher!

When we sold this year, we were not disappointed. The whole team was fully engaged in getting us a buyer, was on hand to move things along when necessary, and just felt completely in our corner. 31st Aug 2024 (11 days ago)I can’t recommend David and his team at Shepherds highly enough They dealt with a purchase for me and also recently the sale of another property They achieved a sale very quickly and professionally dealt with the odd issue throughout the process , nothing is too much trouble I was very happy with everything so if you’re looking for an estate agents in Hertford choose Shepherds!

BUT thankfully I was recommended to Hannah at Greenhill Estates and all of my concerns were taken care of! 9th Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)I am still waiting for my deposit to be returned 3 weeks after my tenancy ended, and I have sent around 12 emails. I was informed on Friday 2nd August, after submitting my bank details, that it would be '5 working days'. On Wednesday 7th August, I again had to submit bank details. I was informed it would be '3 to 5 working days'. In the electronic age, where bank transfers take only a matter of hours to go through the system, the length of time I have been made to wait is a disgrace!
