4th Sep 2022 (1 year ago)Up to the point when you sign your letting contract and pay move in fees communication is good and agents are helpful. As soon as you sign on the line they can't be bothered. Emails do not get answered Phone calls do not get returned Repairs take weeks to complete My daughter moved out of her flat a month ago. To date we still have been unable to retrieve property the agents insisted on being locked in a room. Multiple emails and phone calls to get our deposit back go unanswered and we are now having to open a dispute with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme to have our money returned. This is so unnecessary and could all be avoided if they would just reply to an email or return a phone.
17th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.
12th Oct 2023 (6 mo. ago)We first met Jilly Wellman when we were considering selling our house several years ago now. We were dissatisfied with the agent at that time and found Jilly so helpful even though not her clients that we vowed to contact her in the future. We withdrew our property from the market at that time. So, having lived at our current address for 29 years we decided to sell and contacted Jilly. Obviously, out of touch with the selling process and anxious about it, Jilly was immediately reassuring and was so enthusiastic about our property and conveyed confidence in getting a sale that we took re-assurance from that. Throughout the whole process she kept in touch, put suitable people forward for viewings, answered all emails and texts promptly. She introduced her colleague who would occasionally stand in for her and showed her around. She also communicated when her colleague was doing the viewings. She assured us she would be with us every step of the way and she was. The thing that is striking is after many years doing her job she is so enthusiastic and competent and goes out of her way to be helpful and clearly loves meeting her clients. We were also very happy with the price she pitched our property at. A gem of an agent! I would also like to say how helpful and welcoming Jo Windsor and Diana Steer were in the process of our sale. In view of our experience, I would certainly recommend Strutt & Parker Estate Agents.- 14th May 2018 (5 years ago)Amazing service from Jo Beere who went above and beyond to make our move as easy as possible. I would recommend Strutt & Parker, and Jo, very highly and so far the management service seems so much better than that of other local agencies. Thank you.
11th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)We recently sold our house with Prospects Warfield and were thrilled with the service we received from start to finish. Before speaking with them, we had been impressed by some other agents, but as soon as we met Paul Westmoreland, we could see how professional and genuine he was, so we opted for Prospects. It was such a good decision. Throughout the selling process, their whole team went above and beyond to get the best price for our property. The marketing was well done and really showed off the property's best features. Communications were clear and frequent, which we appreciated, and only high-quality buyers were shown the property, which meant we weren't constantly having to clean and tidy. Once the sale was agreed upon, Paul Westmoreland had to project manage everyone in the chain to ensure we communicated well and solicitors were progressing. This part of their service is often overlooked, but for us, it was invaluable. If you're considering selling your home in the Warfield area, you'd be crazy not to use Prospects. They have the best knowledge and contacts and offer a personal, dedicated service to get you the best price. He was understanding when hurdles cropped up and always showed patience and compassion to my elderly mother. A great agent in all respects but in this case with assisted living properties.

5th Jul 2021 (2 years ago)If your property is worth over a million, your experience might differ, however, anything less than that, then don't expect much. The promise of "cutting edge new technology and innovative marketing" is totally misleading: they couldn't even do the basics. The level of incompetence and lack of professionalism would be totally unacceptable in any other industry or business sector.

1st Apr 2024 (30 days ago)We have recently completed the sale of my 91-year-old uncle's bungalow through Property Owl. Over the years, I have been involved in selling a number of properties with varying experiences of agents and I have to say that Ammar's service was truly exceptional. My uncle sometimes gets a bit confused about dealing with administrative matters, and Ammar was very patient and thoughtful with him - it was his first house move in 50 years, so very stressful for him. Ammar's kindness and patience was very helpful as we live over an hour away. He also chased the sales process very effectively, liaising with the buyer, the solicitors involved and the sales lady at the retirement complex my uncle moved into; he kept us informed about the progress throughout. He even offered to take cuttings from a bush in the garden, and turned up on moving day to help where he could! Recommended unreservedly - thanks, Ammar!
