18th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)We used Savills Exeter to sell our residence in North Devon. The process was very smooth from start to finish, especially impressive given a challenged trading environment and interest rate uncertainty. We achieved our target price with a very harmonious closing process. I think both the Buyer and Seller should equally feel good about the transaction, facilitated in no small part due to Savills Exeter. Of particular note was Chris Clifford's professionalism and exceptional communication skills that went above and beyond - a great comfort to my wife and me. Recommended.
8th Apr 2024 (20 days ago)Offer to buy a house was accepted and it was up to our surveyors to highlight a Grade 2 listing. Whilst Knight Frank ‘empathise’ we are at considerable out of pocket expense. Property now correctly advertised as listed and whatever the background of who claims what, the agent is expected to have carried out due diligence to confirm facts of what they are marketing. Knight Frank Exeter blame their customer and empathise with potential buyer where legislation states an agent must disclose all information before costs related to surveying or conveying are undertaken. However, this shoddy outfit shirk all responsibility; what a reflection of where we are in todays world. Referring to ombudsman as customer service are running on pastoral ‘empathy’ rather than address a problem where potential buyers remain considerably out of pocket. Our contract was with Knight Frank and their codes of ethics and standards where due diligence is the foundation. The Exeter office has failed miserably to address their duty of professional responsibility. Buyers (and sellers) beware! (investigation response was that "we didn't know, not out fault") With a pending county court claim all is resolved!

28th May 2023 (10 mo. ago)My property is currently under offer, l have been very pleased with all aspects of the sale process so far. I received good advice regarding the asking price. Feedback after the 27 viewings was made quickly and allowed me to adapt the asking price and then achieve an acceptable offer. I have no hesitation in recommending Greenslade Taylor Hunt.
15th Apr 2024 (13 days ago)Do not recommend beals, Havant! Was dealing with Kelsey Anne Crimes, wow very rude and unprofessional for a manager. We applied for several flats through beales and didn’t get accepted on any of them, was told we would have support in getting one due to needing to move and our little one being born in 6 weeks but clearly not. We applied for this certain flat and Kelsey said she had sent our application off to the landlord and was waiting to hear back. My partner then called again 2 days later to find out nothing had been sent off, I then asked for the general managers details so I could contact them to be then phoned up and shouted at down the phone and hung up on by Kelsey and no details given. Was then told before they closed that we was unsuccessful which we already knew. Thanks for your help beals, Havant. All we wanted was a home for our family. Won’t be using them again.

He was friendly, we felt very comfortable talking with him and he answered all our questions. Highly recommend.

The team were available to accommodate numerous short notice requests to view the property and also helped in providing information and resources requested. They were not pushy at all and respected our views and wishes . We now have possession of our house and are very pleased to recommend this Taunton Bradley team

9th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)This agent has been so unprofessional with our rental property. We are overseas so we put a lot of trust into the management of our house. First they were keeping our rental payment for months in their bank account before paying us. It got so bad that we had to get the tenants to pay us direct. They admitted to poor management and loss of our paperwork, including contract at this time. The annual report never reflected the true state of the property. 4 photos are not enough!! They should have been taking at least 30-40 photos. Damp that we found a year ago which we never knew about until we visited the property, render on garden wall falling off, cupboards next to oven burnt and discoloured, to name a few of the issues. This was so upsetting that we decided to sell the property. Then to add salt to the wound we had to pay the agent 1% of the selling price as our tenants bought it, who they had found for us. Be aware of that clause we had forgotten about it as it had been many years since we had signed this contract. You really need to be checking your house yourself to make sure it is being maintained. Sadly we were only too willing to maintain our property if we had known more. What we did see from the photos we did attend to but that also took months to get done, although emergency work was attended to promptly. As a result of the lack of upkeep we had to reduce the asking price. Lesson learned and hopefully the agents read this and manage their properties much better!!

16th Apr 2024 (12 days ago)Daniel Goverd was the letting negotiator we worked with and he was absolutely brilliant. Daniel followed through with actions he promised, often ahead of the time he said it may take. He communicated clearly and openly and made the whole process of finding our new home a completely hassle free experience. I would not hesitate in recommending both Newton King and Daniel. They are a joy to have worked with.
12th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)Tamlyns managed my rental property for 2 years without issue at a reasonable fee. They also acted as my agent when I eventually sold the house, and did their role adequately. In managing the property they were honest throughout, leaving both me as the landlord and the tenants quite content. They kept good track of landlord liabilities, and recommended tradesmen to complete routine and emergency repairs impartially. Communication is good, though sometimes quite brief.

Pleasure to deal with the description and picture are a on a different level compared with the other company and can’t recommend the property centre enough ! Thank you Louise ????
