28th Mar 2020 (5 years ago)After struggling to sell my house I stumbled upon Big Black Hen. I decided to call them for an initial chat. I found them to be very professional, knowledge and they have me some great tips in order to finally sell my home. We went ahead with Big Black Hen and there suggestions and hey presto, our house sold. Ive since recommend Big Black Hen to my friends and family. Great service

22nd Feb 2025 (9 weeks ago)Sarah, Leanne and all staff at Cranbrook were brilliant at sending round masses of viewings and persevering after offers were withdrawn. They gave us lots of valuable advice throughout and were always readily available to discuss any issues that arose. We would have no hestitation in using them again.
8th Nov 2024 (25 weeks ago)They don’t do as promised. I had my property on full management by them where they said they’d provide me an update of the property on a certain months interval. They never sent me any written nor photo/video updates as stated. I sent them numerous emails asking why the reports was not sent to me but there was no any counter reply to any of my emails. I then CCd the emails to the branch manager too! Still no reply to any of my emails. This is only one example of their deed. There are others too!!! I’d never ever recommend any of my fiends and families to give them a management of their property to Connells. Since I’ve spread these news some of my friends have already decided to leave them. One of my friend also stated the same problem with the Connells. To whoever is reading this, my advice to you is don’t pay to manage your property with them. You’ll regret it badly.
5th Dec 2023 (1 year ago)I would not recommend Mann Ashford. They were not pro active and did not keep in contact to let us know what they were doing in terms of our property. No one answered the phone. They were disinterested and all they wanted to do was reduce the price. Never phoned us we had to phone them. They achieved no viewings on our property. A very poor performance and no service.

I would like to thank them for this, which resulted in my purchase going well and any issues that arose were ironed out by their competent approach.
2nd Nov 2024 (25 weeks ago)My family have been connected with a house in Tankerton since the late 1800s and have owned it, through 3 generations, since 1945. Rather reluctantly we had taken the decision to sell it and requested quotations from several local Estate Agents. Christopher Hodgson provided the highest quote so we visited them and were struck immediately by the sheer professionalism of the firm led from the front by Will Raolfe. He was knowledgeable, approachable and responded to any queries we had quickly and efficiently. He was instrumental in driving the whole process forward and was constantly in touch with both sets of solicitors. Whenever I was worried about any aspect of the sale he was able to provide sensible and helpful advice. Without this I am sure we would have not achieved the result that we did. I should add that every member of his staff with whom we had dealings acted in a friendly and helpful manner and I felt that we really were in the hands of a truly excellent company. I can recommend Christopher Hodgson without hesitation.
9th Apr 2025 (20 days ago)It is VERY disappointing that the gates that are an essential part of this private estate have not been repaired and put back into full operational use, they have been broken for months. Martins estates have the money (our money) to get the work carried out.

My agent Ben really went above and beyond for what turned out to be a difficult conveyancing experience but we got there in the end! I would definitely recommend Nested for a bespoke service you don’t get elsewhere.

18th Dec 2024 (19 weeks ago)Matt McGrath and his amazing team are 10/10! firstly Matt come round our property and gave us an valuation that we was surprised with. After talking with Matt about the process as this was the first time selling a house he put us at ease and answered all out questions. we put the house on the market and as soon as the house went live we had viewings! The first family who viewed our house wanted it and we agreed a sale!! Next we needed to buy a house and yet again Matt and his team got to work and found our dream home and took care of everything! We used Richard Watts for our mortgage and would highly recommend! Over all if your thinking about selling or buying, look no further 10/10

25th Nov 2021 (3 years ago)I definitely recommend Northwood estates. I recently moved in the United Kingdom so didn’t know how the system works , however I received a lot of help from Patience which is one of the agent of Northwood . I’m very happy that I chose them.
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
