16th Apr 2025 (11 days ago)We found Jackson-Stops of Sevenoaks, particularly efficient and active in securing a sale of a property in Sevenoaks. Isabelle Greaves the associate in charge of the sale was so helpful and enthusiastic and guiding us through the whole process including co-ordinating with our solicitors. We would thoroughly recommend Jackson-Stops of Sevenoaks.

22nd Feb 2025 (9 weeks ago)Sarah, Leanne and all staff at Cranbrook were brilliant at sending round masses of viewings and persevering after offers were withdrawn. They gave us lots of valuable advice throughout and were always readily available to discuss any issues that arose. We would have no hestitation in using them again.

Caroline has been so efficient with changing documents/ replying to our emails and I can’t recommend her enough! Absolutely wonderful service at Vale and Marsh.- 8th Nov 2024 (24 weeks ago)They don’t do as promised. I had my property on full management by them where they said they’d provide me an update of the property on a certain months interval. They never sent me any written nor photo/video updates as stated. I sent them numerous emails asking why the reports was not sent to me but there was no any counter reply to any of my emails. I then CCd the emails to the branch manager too! Still no reply to any of my emails. This is only one example of their deed. There are others too!!! I’d never ever recommend any of my fiends and families to give them a management of their property to Connells. Since I’ve spread these news some of my friends have already decided to leave them. One of my friend also stated the same problem with the Connells. To whoever is reading this, my advice to you is don’t pay to manage your property with them. You’ll regret it badly.

If I had a question I would get a reply quickly and explained well if there was something I didn't understand. The day I got my keys the agent was very thorough with the inventory check of the property and made sure I had everything I needed before she left. 100% would recommend if I know anyone looking to rent.

Long experience in the area, an excellent understanding of the market and the importance of personal service make them a pleasure to deal with. Nothing is too much trouble.

3rd Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)Phillips & Stubbs just don't seem to have got the memo, the Covid bubble has well and truly burst in this area and properties are not worth what they were when Covid was around. Many people are moving back towards London these days. Trouble is, this agent doesn't seem to have realised this as their prices just don't reflect the true worth of properties in their area. As such, almost without exception, their properties are vastly over priced. My wife and I had considered buying in the area that this agent deals with but have subsequently bought elsewhere due to many agents in their area just not getting the message. I have noticed other agents in this area of the country doing the same thing, I've also noticed that the vast percentage of properties in the area are also hanging around like a bad smell. In a nutshell, over priced over valued. Avoid. MY RESPONSE TO PHILLIPS & STUBBS It would seem, judging by your somewhat surly response that I have rather touched a raw nerve! I wonder why!?.. You mention that the market dictates values and pricing however, I have seen MANY properties in your area that have been VASTLY over valued only to see the price reduced again and again. What is more, many of the properties that have been reduced are still sitting there gathering dust many months later. As I mentioned, Covid sent prices rocketing in this area however MUCH has changed since then but most agents in this area (yourselves included) have failed to notice or reflect this. Additionally, I fail to see how vendors are responsible for this "optimistic" pricing when most home owners have no idea what their homes are worth. What I suspect is happening is owner A is looking at owner B (who has probably been on the market at vastly inflated values for some time) and thinks, owner A's property is "valued" like 'this' so, so should mine. The proof of the pudding, and all that, is that buyers should assess how long a property has been marketed for before they deciding whether they are over valued or not!... I think they may come to the same conclusion as me. P.S. My wife and I actually bought a property in Surrey, so your assessment of, essentially saying, if you can't afford this area look elsewhere is frankly laughable. Oh, and, let's just say, we had a healthy budget. Please don't get delusions of grandeur, it's only Rye (a ridiculously, impossibly touristy area where at weekends you can hardly move for people), not Chelsea!

I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

My agent Ben really went above and beyond for what turned out to be a difficult conveyancing experience but we got there in the end! I would definitely recommend Nested for a bespoke service you don’t get elsewhere.
5th Mar 2025 (8 weeks ago)I highly recommend Hunters Tenterden for selling your home. They sold ours in three months in a tough market and I believe it was because of their unique sales approach that it sold so quickly. I find it strange calling it unique, because to me it seems logical, but it was starkly different to the other three agencies we interviewed. There are several reasons why we chose to use Hunters, the first was how prepared Laura was when she did our evaluation. She was well informed and gave us a realistic selling price that we went on to sell our house for. She listened to us and took the time to answer all of our questions. Their approach to viewings was another reason we chose to use them. In the time leading up to the first viewings, Hannah, the agent who was to show our house, came and had a walk through making notes on important details that made our house stand as well as mundane details like when our new boiler was put in, so that she was prepared to answer buyers' questions. Another reason is that they target market rather than wait for buyers to contact them. They call those on their books who have expressed interest in similar properties, and they call potential buyers registered with their other offices. Our buyers hadn't even seen our listing because they were looking in a totally different area and were registered with a different Hunters office. It was Laura who called them and told them about our house and our village. I'm convinced, our buyer would never have seen our house had she not done this. Other reasons we had were their intimate knowledge of this part of Kent, their high quality listing photos, the customer service from the selling team leading up to the offer being made, and the always available team who handled the sale once we accepted the offer. Selling a home is a painful process but Laura and her team made it as pain free as possible.
