16th Mar 2024 (8 mo. ago)This is not the first time we have used Blenkin&co. We encountered them when buying a house a few years ago and were impressed at their fairness in handling the buyer/seller balance. Hence tje decision to use them when selling. This last transaction fell at a difficult time and had some complications but they showed patience, persistence, courtesy and even humour. In brief, we trust them.

I can't rate Savills of York high enough after the recent sale of my home. From beginning to end they were exemplary. It is a rare experience in today's world to find any organisation that can perform consistently to such a standard. From the initial telephone call, to completion, everyone at Savills demonstrated the highest professional standards. Telephone calls were always returned quickly and action was always taken when requested. This applied at every level of the York office. My property was sold to the first person Savills arranged to view, without going fully on to the market. But they had many more prospective purchasers lined up in the wings. But this swift sale did not distort my view. I have bought and sold many properties over the years and understand why some agents have the reputation they do. If everyone performed to the Savills level that would not be the case.

It's fair to say that most of the interactions I've had with estate agents have left me with a poor impression (over promise and under deliver), but Naish were different - very professional, efficient, set realistic expectations (then exceeded them) and generally did a cracking job of getting my sale over the line even when there were issues elsewhere in the chain. Big thanks to Matt and the team, highly recommend.
17th Nov 2024 (17 days ago)Not a great experience. The Truss budget wrecked the market but the service from Hunters was still poor. Changes to agents looking after the house not communicated. Staff pleasant but communication was sporadic and had to chase constantly. Photos not great - we supplemented with some more of ours. It took almost a year to sell after dropping the price by 35k.

12th Nov 2024 (22 days ago)Arranged an appointment for my property for letting in near future, first appointment didn't turn no call nothing, so gave second chance arranged one more appointment. This time did contact me on day of appointment only to cancel and say would be better done by email and no face to face even though this was what I requested over the phone to get info into letting, market etc, furthermore no email have I received, certainly would not recommend clearly don't want the business

Communication was excellent throughout the process and all our questions received a friendly and prompt response. Would highly recommend.

We sold our bungalow and the entire process from end to end was slick and efficient, from the original valuation carried out by Michael to the ongoing unapparelled support from Natalie who not only helped to actually sell our property but went on to provide continuous support and guidance throughout the entire process. It's a well know statistic that moving home is one of the most stressful things you can ever experience. However, we have to say that receiving the level of care and support we received from Natalie was not something we'd never experienced before and she enabled the move to be smooth and stress free. We have moved several times and we've never ever recieved such sublime service, care and support as we had with Redmove Estate Agents. If you're selling/buying a property and you want the very best then choose Redmove. High end fantastic service and value for money! Thank you so much to Michael, Natalie, & the Team for a job incredibly well done!!

13th Jul 2024 (21 weeks ago)No idea how this estate agent sells houses or if they only earmark properties they post for specific clients/buyers already known to the business. Very oddly run, you phone up and are put through to an admin team of sorts, never an agent. They will take your details and say they will pass it onto the agent who will allegedly phone you themselves, they won’t give you the agents details either so you have to just wait for this call. It’s been just over a week of me trying to view a particular property, phoned in multiple times to no avail. - Update, if you find out who the agent dealing with the property is, you can try find their contact details on the actual website, the lady I dealt with was actually sound & treated me the way I’d expect to be, like 90% of other estate agent companies would’ve.

Liam was extremely knowledgeable, clued in on the local area and how to market the property to its best effect. The property was uploaded Thurs evening and by Monday afternoon, e.g. 4 days later we had received 6 viewings and an offer over the starting price. This experience far outweighed our expectations and Liam is a real pro in an industry that can been seen as somewhat cut throat. Liam set realistic expectations and over delivered on those expectations. I would highly recommend The Agency UK as a result. Thank you ????

7th Nov 2024 (27 days ago)It is perhaps rare that you can whole heartedly recommend an estate agent but that is the case with Paul of Bishops. He was recommended to me for a reason. His calm approach, communication and level headedness are superb. Buying and selling houses can be very stressful and often leave you with a feeling of uncertainty as to where you are in the process of your sale or purchase. Not so with Paul. He is on the ball in communicating to you what is happening. Check out the awards he has so deservedly won. Thank you Paul for your excellent communication and kind and calm approach in the process of our sale

5th Jul 2024 (22 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
