25th Aug 2026 (20 days ago)I have dealt with Bartleys Estate Agents for over 14 years and have experience of both their lettings and sales services. Throughout that time, I have found them to be consistently professional, knowledgeable and, just as importantly, genuinely easy to deal with.<br><br>Communication has always been excellent, whether by email or telephone, and I've always felt kept informed and supported. As a landlord, it was reassuring to know that both we and our tenants were in safe hands. The team managed everything efficiently and professionally, giving us complete confidence that matters were being handled properly.<br><br>More recently, when it came to selling our property, the same outstanding level of customer service continued. The team clearly know their industry inside out, provide honest and trustworthy advice, and make what can often be a stressful process feel straightforward and well managed.<br><br>I would not hesitate to recommend Bartleys to anyone looking for a letting or estate agent. They are a fantastic company with a strong customer focus and have delivered excellent service for us time and time again.

3rd Sep 2026 (11 days ago)A property was listed for rent on the morning of Tuesday 01/09/2026.<br><br>We rang the same morning as soon as senate opened to book a viewing and was told that we were the first to enquire and they would be in touch tomorrow (02/09/2026) as they had only just listed it and that the lady who will be managing the viewings for it is off today.<br><br>Didn’t receive any calls or anything the next day (02/09/2026) as advised, so following day decided to call on the morning (03/09/2026) and said to them we havent been contacted.<br><br>Different lady answered from the initial call, assume this is the lady who is managing the viewings, told us it was fully booked out for viewings and that it was tough luck. She had a terrible attitude towards us on the phone about it too, as though we were making it up!<br><br>Crazy! Absolutely disgusting! We were first in on that listing. We think it’s because we told them we have a young child on the initial call. They can’t discriminate so they accidentally forget you. Don’t use this company, will be looking into further options of complaint with official bodies with how this was handled also.<br><br>Addition to this review -<br><br>What’s even funnier now is that this property is today 03/09/2026 showing as let agreed now.<br><br>Though the supposed viewings that were fully booked are supposed to take place on Saturday 05/09/2026.<br><br>So how is let agreed? How have the relevant checks been made with the tenants of whom it is agreed with in less than one day from listing, and without even doing a viewing yet either?<br><br>Screenshots and timestamps all taken, can’t wait to to take these questionable practices to the ombudsman.

25th Aug 2026 (20 days ago)The entire team helped me through a difficult time and a prolonged sale, impacted by the usual as well as extraordinary events in the near east, which impacted prices and confidence across the country. From initial appointment through completion, I was always treated like a human being. Over the course of the sale, I got to speak with and know most of the team and they all worked diligently, authentically and honestly to get my sale over the line (which also included so many shenanigans from the other side's lender!). I am so glad I chose Archer Bassett. Special shout outs to Stephanie and manager, Mark; also Jo and Stefan too!).

We had a rocky sale but Emma has pushed and pushed to get things completed for us. Would 100% recommend, very friendly, very customer focused.

However, they put me in touch with their mortgage broker, Ricky Parmar, to help with my mortgage application, particularly as my credit history wasn’t perfect.<br><br>From the outset, I found Ricky to be extremely professional, helpful and reassuring. He talked me through the whole application process, found a specialist lender suitable for my circumstances, and helped me navigate the numerous queries that came back from the underwriters.<br><br>There were several points along the way when I worried that something might throw a spanner in the works, but Ricky was always reassuring and helped put my mind at ease. Whenever I emailed him with a question or concern, he responded very quickly and kept me informed throughout.<br><br>I’m delighted to say that I now have my formal mortgage offer, and I’m extremely grateful for Ricky’s help in getting me to this point.<br><br>I would highly recommend Ricky to anyone looking for a mortgage, particularly if your circumstances aren’t completely straightforward and you need someone knowledgeable and supportive to guide you through the process.

2nd Sep 2026 (12 days ago)Adam Ali Lettings Manager @ Connells Kings Heath had been parachuted in from Connells Rugby end of May. ( my words not his). We were his first Lettings project at Kings Heath. Presented with an unusual and complicated end of tenancy on our property, Adam was the consumate professional and set about in a friendly manner resolving all of the many issues this end of tenancy presented. His experience and sound advice resulted in a house clearance and refurbishment from 5th June thru to marketing and viewings from end of July to a full letting with new tenants moving in on 18th August. Adam assisted by his collegue James Grey, constantly beat my expectations, especially as the previous Lettings Team had consistently failed to meet my expectations , despite me lowering them year on year. So if you are after experienced professional friendly customer service which put you first, I can recommend Adam and James. I never give 5 stars as I think there is always room for improvement in any organisation.
