Henley Charles Estate Agents - Handsworth
306 Rookery Road, Handsworth, Birmingham, B21 9QG
(187 reviews)
6th Oct 2026 (24 days ago)Overall I was satisfied with the service as Henley Charles sold my property relatively quickly. I was less impressed with the initial valuation which I felt was inflated. The property eventually sold for £30k less than the valuation they provided. Communication on the whole was good when I could get through to them but there were times when the phone just rang out. I feel a dedicated receptionist would be helpful to alleviate these issues. The team members were all personable and knowledgeable. I would recommend Henley Charles to others as their fees are reasonable and the after sales process was very good indeed.

11th Oct 2026 (19 days ago)Worst estate agents ever, I tried to rent a house and filled tons of documents. Though they did'nt even call me back for the results and when I call them to learn about it they were pretty rude. Far from being professional dont bother going there.
21st Oct 2026 (9 days ago)Thank you to all the Staff at Paul Carr for Assisting Me with the Sale of my Property.
The staff were professional and explained step by step the process.
17th Oct 2026 (13 days ago)Major very helpful and friendly ??????
22nd Oct 2026 (8 days ago)Really good informative and efficient
30th Sep 2026 (30 days ago)We contacted this agency about a property around two weeks ago. They asked us for a lot of personal and financial information in order to arrange a viewing. We provided everything they requested, but unfortunately, nobody came back to us.
I also tried contacting them a couple of times afterwards, but there was no answer and no one returned our calls. The communication has been very poor, and the whole experience has been frustrating and disappointing.
We expected a more professional and reliable service. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not recommend this agency.
30th Sep 2026 (30 days ago)This is the first estate agent I have ever rented with that I would actively and enthusiastically recommend to other people. At every stage the team have been both professional and personable. Over the 3 years I rented my flat, I found myself pleasantly surprised many a time by handling situations with care for myself and my partner as well as their responsibilities in managing the flat on behalf of our late landlord.
I feel like it shouldn't be so rare to find such a genuinely excellent all-round agency like this. Regardless, I can promise you this unicorn is real!
Many thanks to Charlotte who handled our end of tenancy inspection expertly and with a couple shared laughs.

24th Oct 2026 (6 days ago)This had been a difficult situation for the family, selling our mother and father’s family home and clearing the house.
Greens have been extremely helpful and successful for selling the property as it had taken over a year with this government and properties moving slowly. We did have it advertised with another company without and viewing. We moved to Greens and within 3 day started getting a steady flow of viewings each week and then the sale.
All the staff were very good about managing the viewings and advised us at every opportunity once feedback was received.
Thank you guys and all your staff that have been involved with this difficult process for our family.
Kindest regards Lee and family
26th Oct 2026 (4 days ago)Friendly and very good communication throughout our sale- 4th Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)Very helpful and easy process with purchasing a house. The Boldmere team have been fantastic when I had some personal issues and difficulties surrounding it all, and I was able to resolve these with their help.
17th Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)Salma the sales lead was absolutely brilliant. She went above the call to help, totally professional and was on the button all the time. All the staff are brilliant but she went above expectations. A massive thank you for finding and closing a sale.
20th Oct 2026 (10 days ago)Dear all, Please feel free to use this as feedback as requested below, "The journey has ended, thank you for your help, assistance and perseverance along the way with selling our parents' house to completion, on time and to our expectations, they were there for 43 years. We felt your team always responded to our needs in a friendly and professional manner" all the best and kind regards, Mr Ashley & Mrs Greaves
14th Oct 2026 (16 days ago)Prompts response and good communication
5th Aug 2026 (12 weeks ago)Professional staff, who respond quickly to questions and enquires. I would definitely consider working with them again in the future if the need arises.
25th Oct 2026 (5 days ago)I thought I should update my initial review based on my experience.

Objectively, the property management team has been quite disappointing in terms of communication. Several emails, including those sent during my tenancy, went unanswered. On one occasion, they promised to resolve an outstanding request within a specified timeframe but failed to do so. Repeated telephone calls also went unanswered.

Overall, my experience with their responsiveness and fulfilment of commitments has been far from satisfactory.
15th Oct 2026 (15 days ago)I was recently introduced to Zohaib, he was proactive in understanding my needs, listing the property and securing a very agreeable rate, acting with professionalism and good conduct throughout. Highly recommend.
15th Oct 2026 (15 days ago)Best Agents in Sutton Coldfield, 5 star service. Highly recommended
26th Oct 2026 (4 days ago)Bayzos were brilliant, beginning to end! Leah was extremely helpful during initial valuation and then during the viewings. Also thanks to both Jack and James covering some of the viewings as well, all of which were extremely helpful and kept us up to date on the progress of these. Many thanks to Michelle who helped get the sale sorted through to completion. Again kept me well up to date, professional and helpful. Great team at Bayzos, they came well recommended to me and I would highly recommend them to others!
Thank you again!
18th Oct 2026 (12 days ago)Alex was brilliant throughout. We sold both our properties with him and he was friendly and progressional from the off, throughout both sales he really went the extra mile, always only a message away, would chase various solicitors when asked and progress always seemed to be made when Alex chased. He was excellent and we would recommend him to anyone.
11th Oct 2026 (19 days ago)Tom was a really nice guy. His team booking in viewings were really poor. They would book in viewings without even liaising with us which meant bookings got cancelled and prospective buyers annoyed and frustrated. Removed from market with Oakmans due to the amount of viewings we have was very small. Never received feedback after viewings.
13th Oct 2026 (17 days ago)Rude They changed my property price daily without my permission. They lower price to less than what i pay for it, Then they put the price 10 times higher than what I pay for it. This is bulling tactic
