Henley Charles Estate Agents - Handsworth
306 Rookery Road, Handsworth, Birmingham, B21 9QG
(187 reviews)
6th Oct 2026 (24 days ago)Overall I was satisfied with the service as Henley Charles sold my property relatively quickly. I was less impressed with the initial valuation which I felt was inflated. The property eventually sold for £30k less than the valuation they provided. Communication on the whole was good when I could get through to them but there were times when the phone just rang out. I feel a dedicated receptionist would be helpful to alleviate these issues. The team members were all personable and knowledgeable. I would recommend Henley Charles to others as their fees are reasonable and the after sales process was very good indeed.

14th Apr 2026 (6 mo. ago)The family were going through a difficult time after the bereavement of a parent, then the added stress of dealing with the sale of a probate property. Dave carried out the property valuation, along with several other agents and put us at ease with his local market knowledge and his sound property advice. Absolutely amazing and professional service from the whole Apple Property Solutions team. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to sell in the Great Barr area.

27th Oct 2026 (3 days ago)I had a viewing booked in for a property and the people I had to deal with during my experience had been very helpful and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions.

I will definitely be recommending Green and Company to my family and friends.
25th Oct 2026 (5 days ago)Just know if you rent with them, your life will be difficult if you need help. This place does not care about you as a person and your needs at all. Whenever you have a complaint they direct you to maintence and you submit a request and won’t hear about it for weeks and months. They don’t care if it’s a problem that is affecting your daily life. They will not follow up, respond to emails, or be of help when you go into their office.- 27th Oct 2026 (3 days ago)They so good and helpful thank you for finding a nice rented house for us. Rebekah was so polite and nice with us she deal so politely. I recommend to everyone who wants to find there dream house or rented house please visit to great barr branch connells .

8th Aug 2026 (12 weeks ago)I had a fantastic experience with Dixons throughout my journey as a first-time buyer. There are no words to thank Dixons Sales and Letting Agents Kingstanding, Specially Olivia, Gemma and Charlotte and the team. You’re amazing 10/10. Brilliant service from start to finish. I would highly recommend Dixons. Also, thank you Dixons for the gift, Big thank you from our family.

Chowdhury, Sultana & Talha.
9th Sep 2026 (7 weeks ago)Extremely unprofessional and disappointing experience with James Laurence. I took time off work for a viewing, submitted all the requested documents within 30 minutes afterwards, at the asking price without even negotiating, and clearly explained that I needed to secure a place urgently.

Despite this, I was later told the property had already been let agreed. This happened to me repeatedly, wasting my time and even my annual leave. My credit history and background are good, and I had no issues with the checks.

They clearly do not value prospective tenants’ time. If you want a smooth and professional experience, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Very poor service.
19th Aug 2026 (10 weeks ago)After being let down by a major firm in Birmingham, Oak Tree Estates were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to find a buyer successfully! Abrar was always on hand to answer questions and kept me updated on the progress of the sale. I would highly recommend Oak Tree Estates, not only are their fees reasonable but the customer care and attention is exceptional. Thank you Oak Tree Estates

15th Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)Absolute incompetents !
Be warned! We advertised our shop with them and they messed us around and blatantly lied to us … we took our keys back. They did absolutely nothing for us and wasted our time and lied out of their teeth. I will be reporting them to trading standards as they certainly don’t have any standards! In my opinion they have no professional standards.
13th Oct 2026 (17 days ago)Excellent agents honest and helpful made the process so much easier thanks guys a great team
22nd Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)I cannot recommend this estate agency highly enough. BIG THANK YOU to Angela, Chris and Rob from Great Barr office ?????? From the very beginning, their service was outstanding. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process, with prompt responses to every query and regular updates at each stage of the sale. What impressed me most was their professionalism, efficiency, and dedication to keeping everything moving smoothly. From accepting the offer to exchange and completion, the whole process took just 8 weeks, which exceeded my expectations. The team was always approachable, knowledgeable, and willing to help, making what can often be a stressful experience feel straightforward and well-managed. Thank you to everyone involved for your hard work and support. I would not hesitate to recommend this agency to anyone looking to sell their property. Jolanta and Piotr Marek.
19th Oct 2026 (11 days ago)A very smooth experience dealing with OPA. Everything was handled professionally and efficiently, and we were kept informed as things progressed. The team were approachable, knowledgeable and always willing to help. I would have no hesitation recommending them.
11th Oct 2026 (19 days ago)Tom was a really nice guy. His team booking in viewings were really poor. They would book in viewings without even liaising with us which meant bookings got cancelled and prospective buyers annoyed and frustrated. Removed from market with Oakmans due to the amount of viewings we have was very small. Never received feedback after viewings.
16th Oct 2026 (14 days ago)Fantastic experience and spencer and the team was amazing answered all my enquires i had and kept us up to date with the whole process which made the transaction very easy thansk again wk highly recommended
