1st Apr 2024 (18 days ago)Terrible company, i was renting a poorly maintained property from Homesure and they refused to do any repairs. The property was full of single glaze windows with cracks on them that caused constant cold drafts over all. The carpets were full of blacks stains and flooded kitchen due to a hole on the roof. They refused to replace the windows and change the carpets and i put up with this for over 2 years. My kitchen ceiling had constant water pouring out of it last July which left me unable to use to room due to electrical safety. I was chasing this up constantly to be told in September that the landlord is not willing to spend any money on the repairs unfortunately and there nothing i can do. During this time Homesure repairs team had sent my 2 separate rent increases from 400 to 475 to 525 in the space of one month. I went to a tribunal that ultimately pointed out many safety issues within the block of flats due to exposed wiring, sealed fire exits, no fire alarms, no fire safety notices, no fire blankets. The tribunal had awarded me with no rent increase but i had moved property by then in November as the water in the kitchen was now pouring out of the lights and down the electric sockets. Once moved out Homesure then kept my deposit and said i had left the property in a bad condition and i stole all the lightbulbs. They wanted £60 for the lightbulbs which i had purchased myself as they did not supply them when i moved in and the rest of my deposit (£340) for carpet cleaning even though i got them professional cleaned when i moved in as they was full of black rubber like stains throughout the property. Luckily i had evidence from my move in date with the condition Homesure gave the property and i was awarded to full amount of my deposit. I write this review because i felt let down by this company as i lived in the property for over 2 years and never missed a payment. I spent a lot of money maintaining the property. When it came to anything being repaired Homesure would come up with any excuse not to repair anything. I had been reporting many issues since i had moved it and they either lost the reports or just forgot about it. When i got serious and pushed for them they would litterally say the landlord says No theres nothing we can do. Disgusting how they happy to take your money but then refuse repairs. I would not advise this company to anyone, they left me with a lot of stress and depression and i am now on medication because of them. The staff speak to you like rubbish on the phone and always put you at blame, feel like the company is run by a group of kids that take no responsibility what so ever and always blame the tenant. Also the fact they made up loads of lies to keep my deposit was very unprofessional and very scam like, they cannot be trusted. Please see images of the state of the repairs they refused to fix for me, avoid the flats on Church Road they are falling apart and they will not spend a penny or even admit they are in a really bad condition.

The sale was long drawn out and complicated by a claim for ‘adverse possession’, yet at all times Gethin and his team from Heswall were friendly and professional. A special mention for Dan and the team from West Kirby also, who helped to close the deal out and get us past the finish line! A good job by all and we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending their services.

You can’t fault their amazing customer service and the fact that they are lovely people to communicate with helps enormously while buying a house (which can be very stressful)! You can tell this Team are truly that, working together to make Customers lives easier. I haven’t found the right house yet, but I know I’m in good hands. Thank you Alice, Ben, Simon and Ellie for being brilliant, you really are a credit to your Company!

2nd Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)I found the staff at Lesley Hooks to be very friendly and approachable. They explained processes and procedures without 'blinding me with science' and kept in touch to provide up-dates of how things were progressing in the 'chain'. I would definitely recommend Lesley Hooks to anyone looking for a pain-free service when buying or selling.

16th Feb 2024 (9 weeks ago)Brian Davies and wife Linsey (West Kirby Office) could not have been more helpful since I purchased my late son’s house. If I do not know what to do I phone Brian or walk to the West Kirby Office and both of them do their best to sort out what ever is a worry to me.
19th Feb 2024 (9 weeks ago)Nick Cabo was our mortgage advisor. We weren’t totally sure what to expect as we’d been with Hugo Kelly since the very start but Nick was absolutely spot on. When it came time for our mortgage renewal Nick went over absolutely every detail with us. It was clear to see he wanted us to get the best deal possible that suited our circumstances. Something we were very grateful considering the cost of living crisis. He held off putting our application through with Santander to ensure we got the best interest rate. He is a credit to Jones and Chapman!- 29th Dec 2023 (16 weeks ago)I am SO glad I chose Bradshaw Farnham & Lea. The biggest appeal is that they were local to Wirral specifically, so had great local market knowledge and had even sold houses in my close. Lee and the team were terrific communicators—I knew about bookings and offers straight away, and they provided lots of advice about the offers received. They’ve also been great with communicating with solicitor.

Jonathan Harper took direct personal control over the sale and saw it through smoothly from start to finish. This involved a number of additional items such as hiring a skip and arranging clearance of debris. Jonathan provided a superb and prompt service throughout, kept me informed at all stages to keep my mind at rest and achieved a sale at full valuation.
16th May 2022 (1 year ago)Booked an appointment to go see a unit we were keen about, 2 other people also took time off work. We arrived onsite to no one to show from legat Owens, and then the landlady arrived to ask us what we were doing as the unit has been rented out for the last 3 months. So thank you legat Owens for completely wasting our time and letting us book time off work for a unit which isn’t for rent.
