17th Aug 2026 (4 weeks ago)We have found Mill Hill to be abundant with professional, friendly, motivated estate agents. Our experiences of this agency have been the complete opposite. Whilst searching for a rental property, their charming agent couldn't have been colder or more disinterested in her approach towards us. This attitude began when trying to arrange a viewing date. Then at the viewing, when we asked if my 5yo son could desperately use the toilet, she looked at him as though he was something unpleasant and dismissively said no (I appreciate homeowners may be reluctant, but the total lack of compassion and understanding towards a young child was shocking). When we expressed our interest in the property, she gave a vague answer on the moving in date inconsistent with the online date advertised. When we stated we needed assurances on this deadline, she said with a deadpan stare "fair". When I heard nothing in the subsequent days regarding the position on the property, I called up and received another dismissive response of "not sure yet". At that point I lost interest in dealing with this agency again. On a previous phonecall with one of the team, when registering our initial interest and requirements, I was cutoff with the statement "we are only entertaining chain-free buyers". I was surprised that buyers such as ourselves, who were to become chain-free and looking for a permanent family home were treated this way (particularly in the current challenging market). Having now completed on our dream family home, I would not recommend this agent to prospective buyers.

14th Sep 2026 (3 days ago)Very disappointing experience with this estate agent.<br><br>I contacted them immediately after seeing a property advertised and made it very clear that I was genuinely interested. I was told that my details had been taken and that I was at the top of the list for a viewing. I was also told that viewing slots would become available the following Tuesday, once the tenants had moved out.<br><br>When Tuesday came and I hadn’t heard anything, I called to follow up. I was then told that they still needed to complete the checkout report and would let me know as soon as the property was ready for viewings. Again, I was reassured that I was at the top of the list.<br><br>A few days later, after following up again, I was eventually told that the property was under offer. Given the assurances I had repeatedly been given, this was extremely disappointing.<br><br>What made the experience worse was the complete lack of accountability when I raised my concerns. There was no apology or acknowledgement of how poorly the situation had been handled.<br><br>Finding a new home is already an incredibly stressful process, and communication and honesty from estate agents should make that process easier — not more frustrating. Being repeatedly told that you are first in line, only to find out that the property has gone under offer without being given the opportunity to view it, is understandably very upsetting.<br><br>Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend this agent.

19th Jun 2024 (2 years ago)AVOID THIS AGENCY!!!!Barbara was acting as our letting agent, the property was handed back to us in a terrible state, furniture, walls and floors all damaged. We have had to fit a new bathroom, new flooring, buy new furniture and repaint the entire flat. During the course of the tenancy she didn’t allow us to visit the flat always making excuses as to why her sub tenants don’t want us there. She has refused to answer any of my calls and emails. She sent one email to say the company you had an agreement with as the ‘tenant ‘ has ceased operating and that was all. Do not hand your property to her if you are a Landlord as all she cares about is offering you a low guarantee rent and then placing anyone in the flat so she is in profit.
20th Oct 2025 (10 mo. ago)When I enquired about a property’s asking price and the seller’s position, I was met with terse, dismissive replies from the female agent I spoke to on the phone - a remarkably unhelpful attitude towards a serious buyer. I decided to proceed with the viewing regardless, but communication remained poor throughout. Afterwards, I submitted a formal offer, which was completely ignored. I never received any confirmation or follow-up, and it appeared my offer may not even have been passed to the vendors - which, if true, would be a breach of legal duty. The overall experience suggested a lack of basic organisation, professionalism, and integrity. For sellers, that should be alarming; for buyers, it’s simply exasperating. I would strongly advise caution when dealing with this agency.

He was attentive, professional and knowledgeable and helped us in all things to do with our commercial lease. He assisted us in our rent review and other matters. Best service

Benham and Reeves Dartmouth Park team are just outstanding- from the moment I started the journey on selling our home, Louis and Billy Boyle were there ievery step of the way. When we found buyer, it went to another level. When things get caught up, as they always do, Louis was offering solutions, advice and moving all parties along. They are not just doing a sales job when they come into your home to pitch to sell it, they are a team that genuinely care and support you every step of the way. Thank you Benham and Reeves - you are definitely NOT the same as all other estate agents!
