6th Apr 2022 (2 years ago)Andrew Lawson Estate Agents is a hidden gem in the North East. Mr Lawson is a very friendly person and has plenty of years of experience in the area and is very knowledgable. All their properties are fairly priced, which means equally good for the seller and buyer, so no pull out after making an offer. Just bought one property through them and would really recommend to those who are considering either to sell or buy.

15th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)Cons : they only checked in after 12 weeks and once when we had a possible viewing. This felt quite poor over 26 weeks. I requested some replacement photos to use alongside a price drop to create some Interest. Advisor quite abrupt and unhappy at the request . Refused/strongly advised this was not necessary even though work had been done to improve the home since original photos taken . Communication was poor with very little contact over a 26 week period. Didn’t see home marketed via Facebook or email shots . Some of the Photos weren’t the best , make sure you really check them before you approve . Pros : Service was quick and effective at point of set up. Staff were otherwise polite and pleasant to deal with . Always returned calls when I rang . Board went up quickly and photographer was quick. Some of the photos were good. House did not sell or even have a viewing within 26 weeks which is unusual in a popular area.

It seems that their only interest is finding ways to avoid refunding my deposit. Secondly, I moved house during the pandemic and was advised to isolate. I contacted Armstrong to discuss possibly sending the keys through the post or having them pick them up from the property. This request was made because they had previously stated they would inspect the property on the last day of my tenancy. However, they insisted that the keys must be dropped off in person at their office by the last day of my tenancy. They mentioned that failure to do so would result in an additional month's rent charge.
8th Nov 2023 (23 weeks ago)Great experience with Hegartys. All of the staff at the branch are lovely, friendly and super helpful. We did have a few issues with our photos which couldn’t be helped (technology), however I always believe it’s how these situations are dealt with which matters and Hegartys were great. Our property sold within a day or 2 of being on the market and it sold above asking price. Hegartys did value our property higher than what we decided to go on the market with which shows their valuation was accurate.
15th Aug 2023 (8 mo. ago)I am absolutely appalled at this estate agents letting. My daughter and her husband has been given 2 houses to let that weren't fit for a dog to live in nevermind a couple with young children. It just goes to show that no checks are done on the properties they let out.
3rd Apr 2024 (15 days ago)Selling my late father's house was never going to be easy, both from an emotional and property point of view, but AH have made the exercise effortless. From the first meeting I was assured they shared my values of transparency and fairness and I was thrilled by the support I received. They worked doggedly, getting dozens of viewings for the property to ensure I reached the value I needed to achieve. At every point in the process, the communication has been exemplary. As a first time seller, I feel they really understood how to balance the personal and the professional.
