5th Aug 2021 (5 years ago)**AVOID** Absolutely shocking! This company is not professional at all. We went into look at a potential property to rent and was met by a very pleasant staff member. We book a viewing for a couple of days time and were met by a older man who was late! When asking about the property we were given SHORT SHARP answers and were made to feel like we had put him out by asking to view the place. The whole experience was RUSHED!!! If I could give 0 star I would! * AVOID! *

3rd Nov 2026 (1 day ago)Their initial valuation was rather ambitious, however closer than another agent. Ongoing support was adequate and positive, although it was with a principal person who went on holiday when support became difficult.
22nd Dec 2021 (4 years ago)I am a 44 years old an a Gas Safe Engineer. I have been working in maintenance since 1996. Never seen a worse maintenance company than Strettons. I have no words to describe how we the residents of Onslow Parade N14 5JN feel. Come and judge for yourself before considering to buy or rent a property where this company is involved. Now obviously they are going to reply that they do as much as possible etc . Which is rubbish! We are their customer and we are the people entitled to give them a honest good or bad review. Don't listen to they answers
28th Aug 2021 (5 years ago)I support the feedback submitted previously about the inability to get in touch with the agents. I've called the reception 5 days in a row about arranging a viewing of a flat and I'm still expecting that some magic will happen and someone will finally call me back. I've highlighted that I had seen the development before and pretty much ready to make an offer for the flat but it's ridiculous that I just can't get in touch with anyone from the team to arrange this!- 15th Nov 2021 (4 years ago)Tom Ward was always there to help us and kept us in the loop at all times. He was understanding when hurdles cropped up and always showed patience and compassion to my elderly mother. A great agent in all respects but in this case with assisted living properties.
12th Oct 2021 (5 years ago)This agent is also known as Vantage homes after one year of asking for my property back I got the keys back on 25th July 2021 the house was totally trashed and they would not honour their contract of leaving it in good order also even though the garage was not part of the letting it was full of rubbish left by the tenant which I had to remove at my own cost They still have not paid me at least £1700 and don’t answer my calls I am now in the process of contacting the relevant council they deal with PLEASE DO NOT USE their services otherwise you will regret it like me

From the moment we rented our property, Nazim has supported us with professionalism, kindness and genuine care. He is easily the best letting agent at Fraser & Co, and our experience with him has been consistently excellent.<br><br>Nazim is incredibly proactive and always available when we need help. He answers calls immediately, follows up on every request and makes sure issues are resolved quickly. 3rd Sep 2025 (1 year ago)? 1/5 – Disappointed with the Lack of Communication My experience with Galaxy Property Services in Slough has been frustrating and disappointing. One of the biggest issues has been their lack of communication. They are consistently unresponsive to calls, emails, and messages, which makes it incredibly difficult to resolve even simple queries or concerns. There was very little transparency throughout the process, and I often felt left in the dark about important updates. When communication did happen, it was usually delayed or vague, and rarely addressed the actual issue. I expected a higher level of professionalism and accountability. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend their services based on this experience. Clear and timely communication should be a basic standard in property management — and it’s something Galaxy Property Services seriously needs to improve.
15th Jul 2025 (1 year ago)Overpromised, Underperformed and Untrustworthy – My Costly Mistake with HSD I initially listed my property with PurpleBricks in March 2025 for £535,000. After limited viewings over a three-month period, I began exploring other options and submitted an enquiry to WeBuyAnyHouse. They quickly came back with an offer of £460,000—roughly 14% below asking—claiming it would allow for a quick sale. I immediately declined, as I was not in a rush and didn’t want to take such a significant loss. Shortly after, my details were apparently passed on to House Sales Direct (HSD), seemingly a sister company, without my explicit consent. HSD came across as professional and engaging at first. They promised a 98% success rate in selling properties within 28 days, citing a strong network of pre-approved buyers and investors who could complete within 6–8 weeks. They suggested a sale price spread of £510k–£535k, assuring me they would work to get me the best price possible. It sounded promising. Based on these assurances, I decided to proceed with HSD. I withdrew my PurpleBricks listing—costing me £300—with the understanding that HSD’s investor network would accelerate the sale. But things quickly began to unravel. Despite supposedly having investors lined up, HSD said they needed to relist my property on Rightmove first. When I questioned why investors couldn’t simply view the home, the response was vague. It took nearly two weeks for them to relist, and the new asking price was £525,000. A full week passed without any communication. Then came a call recommending the price be dropped to £499,000. I was told this was “just a marketing tactic,” and that they still aimed to get me a sale within the original £510k–£535k range. But I struggled to understand how listing a property nearly £40,000 lower would achieve that. I asked again about the investors. They finally admitted the only offer received was the same £460k I'd declined weeks earlier through WeBuyAnyHouse. This was when the red flags really began to show. Why wasn’t I told this upfront? Why present an optimistic price range if their investor offer was fixed at £460k from the beginning? Why was I encouraged to pull the property from PurpleBricks if they intended to rely on the open market anyway? I could have just reduced the price there and avoided unnecessary costs and delays. Doing more research online, I found stories from others with eerily similar experiences. It appeared HSD’s real model was to attract sellers with high expectations and then drop the price, relying on open-market tactics to force a quick sale. Despite claiming not to charge commission, they would never clearly explain how they made their money. It seems they may be negotiating higher prices with buyers while offering sellers less—profiting off the gap. No transparency, no trust. Meanwhile, they knew I was paying a high mortgage on an empty property. It became clear they were hoping I’d become desperate enough to accept the same low £460k offer I had already rejected twice. In the four weeks my property was listed with them, only four viewings were arranged. Two were no-shows. Of the remaining two, one viewer stayed for just five minutes—asked no questions and didn’t even view all the rooms. It felt performative, not serious. As expected, neither viewer submitted an offer, despite supposedly being “pre-qualified and keen.” Eventually, I told HSD I wanted to withdraw the property. That’s when I was informed—shockingly—that I had unknowingly signed up for a 52-week contract, and I’d need to pay £1,500 to exit, or £999 if paid within 7 days. I wrote to them, acknowledged that they had done some work, and offered a reasonable £699 exit fee, explaining I needed to rent the home out due to financial strain. They refused and insisted on full payment. I paid the £999 immediately—but it still took a full week and several chasers before they finally removed the property from Rightmove. By the end of the ordeal, it was clear I was no longer a priority for them. In summary: Do I regret choosing HSD? Absolutely. Would I recommend them to someone looking for a fair, transparent, and professional house sale experience? No. If your only goal is to sell quickly and you don’t care about value, they might work for you. But if you want to sell your home at a decent price with a partner you can trust, I strongly advise staying away from HSD.

Nothing was too much trouble and they have saved me a few trips south. Emanda was extremely kind and empathetic to my situation whilst being professional at all times. I would highly recommend Wilkinson & Fox, they made the whole process so easy are are extremely approachable.

Shiv was always there to support and guide us when we needed it, including the time when a potential buyer pulled out last minute.<br><br>The most important aspect to us over the other agents in the surrounding area was the integrity and honesty with which he conducted his business. he was always transparent with us from the start about the selling price of our property and carefully managed our expectations throughout the process. There were no unexpected and unwanted surprises in the end!<br><br>The team were always available and quick to respond to our queries and punctual for every appointment. They provided sound advice even with our onward purchase.<br><br>We would not hesitate to recommend AKS estates for anyone looking to sell/purchase their property.
