They have always been friendly, professional, helpful and responsive throughout the management of my property. Communication has been clear and any queries or issues have been dealt with efficiently.<br><br>I really appreciate all the support and assistance I’ve received from Rebekah and the team over the years. 14th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)I am writing this based on my experience dealing with an agent at Century 21 London Central regarding a serious water leak from a property they manage.<br>A leak from the flat above caused significant damage to my flat, including damage to the ceiling, walls and flooring, with further cracks appearing in several areas. The source of the leak was subsequently confirmed by a Westminster Housing technician.<br>I first informed Dusan about the matter on 21 June. Since then, I have had to repeatedly chase for progress:<br>9 July – followed up for an update<br>14 July – followed up again<br>20 July – followed up again<br>21 July – contractor visited the flat to inspect the damage<br>28 July – followed up again<br>3 August – followed up again<br>On 3 August, the contractor confirmed that he would prepare the quotation that evening and send it to the agent the following morning, with the intention of arranging the repair as soon as possible. I heard nothing further.<br>By 12 August, I had to chase again. The agent then emailed the contractor asking for the quotation. This was despite the agent having already asked the contractor for the quote on 9 July and again on 29 July.<br>As of 14 August, almost eight weeks after I first contacted the agent, I still have no quotation and no date for the repair.<br>What is particularly disappointing is that I have repeatedly had to chase both the agent and contractor, rather than seeing the matter actively managed through to resolution. From my perspective, it feels as though the responsibility is simply being passed back and forth, while the damage to my property remains unrepaired.<br>The situation has also developed further, with my tenant reporting electrical problems after the water spread through the flat, including repeated circuit/fuse tripping and lights no longer working. This makes the lack of urgency even more concerning.<br>I understand that the leak itself was not caused by the agent. My concern is entirely with how the resulting problem has been managed. I would expect a professional property management company to take ownership of a serious maintenance issue, communicate properly with all parties and ensure that necessary repairs are progressed within a reasonable timeframe.<br>I am also a landlord myself, and I take the condition of my property and the wellbeing of my tenant very seriously. I would never allow a repair issue like this to be left unresolved for this length of time. Based on how this matter has been handled, I would not use the agent and Century 21 London Central to manage my property, as this level of management could damage the landlord’s reputation and potentially expose the landlord to complaints, liability and legal action if the property is not properly managed.

14th Sep 2026 (5 days ago)Proactive sales service from instruction to offer accepted. Company's sales progression could benefit from fine-tuning. This is a valuable function particularly in a 'challenging and protracted' sales transaction. Sheetal Suri, Senior Property Consultant stepped up to propel the sale of our property and we appreciate her efforts and input. Would have given Shaw & Co a 5-star rating but for the execution of its end-to-end sales progression service, and for that reason, given a 4-star rating.

The whole sales team are very attentive, responsive and caring in what they do.<br>Once we had an offer, Kasia was managing the sale completion process for us, who was extremely helpful and persistent throughout.<br>Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell within the Whitton/Hounslow area.

Through all the ups and downs they never faltered. Communication was excellent, they never broke a promise and finally got it to the finish line - when many other agents would have dropped it as too much hard work. I will always appreciate the care and attention that helped me through the most difficult times.

We’ve had a few difficult experiences with other managing agents in the past so are delighted with the service we have received.<br><br>They are professional, responsive and, most importantly, they actually listen to their tenants and make you feel looked after. Whenever we’ve had something that needs addressing, they’ve been helpful, approachable and quick to resolve.<br><br>It’s such a relief to have a managing agent who genuinely cares about meeting their tenants’ needs and making the whole renting experience as straightforward and stress-free as possible.<br><br>By far the best managing agent we’ve rented through, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a property to rent!

Do not have any investors on their books unlike larger estate agents- 20th Aug 2026 (30 days ago)Brilliant service. Maria was very helpful, responsive and made the sale process a more enjoyable. I would highly recommend using Shaw & co for any sale transactions.
25th Aug 2026 (25 days ago)Good fees offered as just opened. Initially, they listed 10% below the agreed valuation price despite agreed price being on the contract. Claimed they’d discussed the price internally and a miscommunication. Republished at the correct price. Multiple errors in the advert on Rightmove which were raised with the team. Even after months on the market errors (as bad as the number of bathrooms) had not been corrected. Many attempts to drop the agreed valuation asking price by 10% in the first 2 weeks and further after 1 month claiming it should have sold already. Lots of viewings but low ball offers (-20%). After all the listing errors we had real concerns over quality and with a lack of respectable offers we decided to move to another well known agent in the area. No reply or acceptance of our cancellation email so we had to call. Within 2 weeks with the new agent we had an offer accepted with one of their long term clients just below asking price. I can’t recommend devenports based on my experience. They are a new outfit and this comes with teething issues.
