He created a relaxed, welcoming environment and encouraged us to take our time exploring the property, which we really appreciated. At no point did we feel rushed or pressured. Throughout the entire process, Kyle maintained clear and consistent communication, always keeping us informed and reassured. We’re truly so grateful to Kyle for his support, professionalism, and genuine approach, it made what can often be a stressful process feel smooth and straightforward. We were so impressed that we’ve even recommended two other people to contact Kyle to help them find a property to rent. We also had the pleasure of meeting his colleague Mehmet when completing the final payment and collecting our keys. He was equally professional, friendly, and efficient, ensuring everything was handled seamlessly. A big thank you to both Kyle and Mehmet for their outstanding service. Sheetal Suri did the initial valuation and was very polite and informative about the market and how shaw and co would handle the process if we did choose them. Having met a few other estate agents I was convinced that this firm would be the best to go with. We landed an offer within a couple of viewings and from offer accepted to completion Jindra Lall was at hand. She was always assisting us and enabled us the close the transaction quickly. We are really pleased with our whole experience of dealing with shaw and co and would not hesitate to recommend them for any sales.

22nd Apr 2026 (14 days ago)Our experience with this estate agency has been extremely disappointing and, regrettably, one of the poorest we have been through. Communication throughout the process was notably inadequate. My husband made several attempts to obtain updates via email, but responses were rarely provided unless he followed up with phone calls, which is not an acceptable standard of service. Despite submitting all requested documentation promptly, the requirements appeared to change repeatedly—particularly concerning the filing history of the company my husband works for. This was both confusing and, in our view, irrelevant, as it has no bearing on his employment status, especially given that he is a property manager himself. The reasoning then changed to him not working long enough when it was clear with employment contract he had been offered full time work. It became increasingly apparent that there was a lack of genuine intent to proceed with our application. We were initially assisted by a helpful representative, Nicole; however, our case was later handled by Jasmine without any formal handover or communication acknowledging the change. This added to the overall lack of transparency. Furthermore, attempts to contact the Lettings Manager were unsuccessful, as our emails went unanswered, reflecting a concerning lack of engagement at a senior level. We have since escalated this matter internally and sought legal advice, which indicated that declining a reference based on a company’s filing history is not a valid or justifiable reason. This raises serious concerns about the fairness and integrity of the process. It is difficult not to conclude that the property may have been offered elsewhere under more favourable financial terms, with alternative reasons given to justify the decision. We strongly advise others to exercise caution when dealing with this agency. Supporting documentation is available as evidence of our experience.

1st Feb 2022 (4 years ago)I reviewed good service from then although it wasn’t very perfect. It was a little bit hard sometimes to get through to some agents sometimes but apart from that I receive excellent service.

2nd May 2026 (4 days ago)0 stars - I would not recommend this agency We have unfortunately been dealing with Hemang, the lettings manager, and the experience has been consistently disappointing. Communication and transparency seem to be completely absent. Our rent has been paid late every single month, including a delay of 10 days last month, and at no point have we been proactively informed of any issues. Each month there is a new excuse - management not being available to approve payments, the company not having received rent yet, and no doubt something different next time. The lack of accountability is frustrating. We haven’t even received a copy of the signed contract yet despite asking on several occasions. We are counting down the days until July when can finally move on from the service. Save yourself the stress and choose another agency.

We had a chain of 4 and to make it happen all the solicitors, estate agents and lenders had to put together to exchange on the same day. Also, on completion day key collection, removals etc was hectic. But Move Inn worked on behalf very professionally and make it happen. We'll pleased.
27th Feb 2026 (10 weeks ago)Avocado have been a pleasure to deal with throughout. Their marketing was superb and customer service has been exceptional throughout. I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!

A basic level of professionalism and responsiveness shouldn’t be too much to expect, but sadly that’s not the case here. 21st Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)They put sold on my property which they haven’t even sold giving absolutely false statements they valued the property at £240,000 bringing it down to £200,000 and wanted me to lower the price even more to around £150,000 totally unacceptable.
