Selling house was never a straightforward process, but their professionalism made all the difference throughout the entire process. From the very beginning, they took the time to understand my situation, provided clear and honest advice, and developed a strategy that worked best for me. Despite the challenges we faced, Aleksa remained professional, proactive, and solution-focused at every turn. They handled negotiations with skill and honesty, kept me updated regularly, and were always available to answer my questions—no matter how big or small. Their deep knowledge of the market and strong attention to detail gave me confidence that I was in the best possible hands. 12th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Unfortunately, my experience with Hamptons was extremely disappointing. I appointed them three times over the past four years — twice to sell my property and once to let it — and on all three occasions they failed to find a suitable buyer or tenant.<br><br>When I appointed them to let my property, one of their staff members attended a viewing with a prospective tenant. The gentleman did not appear to be working and was asking for a discount on the rent. After locking up the flat, I noticed the prospective tenant and the Hamptons staff member whispering in the hallway and then becoming silent as I approached. I found the situation quite unsettling and it gave me very little confidence about renting my property to this individual.<br><br>More recently, I instructed Hamptons to sell the property again before ultimately deciding to move to another agent. I was disappointed that their junior staff carried out viewings without informing me of the prospective buyer's name beforehand. On one occasion, I discovered through my own investigation that a woman who had already viewed my property twice through Savills was now attempting to view it for a second time through Hamptons. She had not disclosed to Hamptons that she had already viewed the property, and she was not in a position to purchase as her own property was not even on the market. She subsequently visited the property several times, which I felt was an unnecessary waste of everyone's time. Providing me with the prospective buyer's name in advance could potentially have avoided this situation.<br><br>Hamptons eventually found a buyer, but the offer was below the amount I had originally paid for the property. I felt that this was another waste of time, particularly as I was encouraged to consider accepting the offer. Fortunately, I declined.<br><br>The final communication from the director was particularly disappointing. I was told that Hamptons were the only people who could sell my flat and that I was making a mistake by leaving them. This was after three months of marketing, during which there had been very few viewings and no credible offers.<br><br>Needless to say, I decided to change agents. Within just one week of going back onto the market with another estate agent, I received a strong offer — and ultimately achieved the best possible price, reflecting what my property was genuinely worth.<br><br>This experience has made me very sceptical of high-street estate agents. My advice would be to do your research carefully and choose an agent who is transparent, realistic, communicative and genuinely focused on achieving the right result for you.

Jordanna and Isobel were a fantastic team, with great communication, a solid strategic approach and efficient management of the sales process. Our house was on the market for under a week before it sold and we completed in just over a month. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome and would use Knight Frank again without hesitation.

Neha Khanna were extremely helpful in finding me a furnished apartment to rent in the short term. Neha showed me the property via video call and handled the entire process, including the agreement, payment and communication with the landlord, in just three to four days, ensuring that we had somewhere to stay when we arrived.<br><br>She is an exceptional professional who didn't just act like a salaried employee, but rather like a dedicated homeowner fully committed to securing the rental. She managed the entire process with speed and reliability. My sincere thanks go to her once again.
31st May 2024 (2 years ago)I had the worst experience of my life with them and Featherstone Leigh , my son has a permanent asthma and breathing issue from the flat they have rented me. I was not able to stay in the flat for over two months , no alternative was offered to me and my family, being homeless due to the smell of damp, water leak has costed me a lot of money and stress. Useless team all they care about is their rent it be paid , they have breached their contract on so many occasions, they failed . Do not get fooled by those good reviews!

After every viewing, we received detailed feedback, which we really appreciated.<br><br>We were particularly impressed with how the team personally led all the viewings and made sure that potential buyers were given accurate and helpful information about our home. Their commitment and attention to detail gave us great confidence that our property was being presented in the best possible way.<br><br>We cannot recommend Chase Buchanan highly enough if you are looking to sell your property. They’re an independent business and it really shows — they’re completely different from the stereotypical estate agent. No hard sell, no nonsense, just genuinely lovely, normal people who actually care and go the extra mile.<br><br>They’ve been brilliant throughout both the rental and sale process, and it’s been a pleasure dealing with them.<br><br>Would 100% recommend Village Properties to anyone looking to rent or sell!

Every week they provided an update and Darren or Kristian accompanied prospective buyers on every occasion and took a detailed history of the property and surrounding area. Once a buyer was found, they helped us negotiate on the property we were buying out of the area! This is not an estate agent, this is a personal service that will get you moved to where you want go. Well done team, an awesome experience.

We’ve had a few difficult experiences with other managing agents in the past so are delighted with the service we have received.<br><br>They are professional, responsive and, most importantly, they actually listen to their tenants and make you feel looked after. Whenever we’ve had something that needs addressing, they’ve been helpful, approachable and quick to resolve.<br><br>It’s such a relief to have a managing agent who genuinely cares about meeting their tenants’ needs and making the whole renting experience as straightforward and stress-free as possible.<br><br>By far the best managing agent we’ve rented through, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a property to rent!

Having him as my sole point of contact from the initial valuation all the way through to exchange gave me complete peace of mind and made communication effortless.<br>Even in a tough market, he managed to find us a fantastic buyer. Martin was extremely proactive throughout, doing everything possible to keep the process moving smoothly. I would definitely work with him again and highly recommend him!

25th Aug 2026 (24 days ago)Good fees offered as just opened. Initially, they listed 10% below the agreed valuation price despite agreed price being on the contract. Claimed they’d discussed the price internally and a miscommunication. Republished at the correct price. Multiple errors in the advert on Rightmove which were raised with the team. Even after months on the market errors (as bad as the number of bathrooms) had not been corrected. Many attempts to drop the agreed valuation asking price by 10% in the first 2 weeks and further after 1 month claiming it should have sold already. Lots of viewings but low ball offers (-20%). After all the listing errors we had real concerns over quality and with a lack of respectable offers we decided to move to another well known agent in the area. No reply or acceptance of our cancellation email so we had to call. Within 2 weeks with the new agent we had an offer accepted with one of their long term clients just below asking price. I can’t recommend devenports based on my experience. They are a new outfit and this comes with teething issues.

She was so helpful, kept us informed at every stage, and always made sure we knew exactly what was happening.<br>Finding the right estate agent was difficult as there are so many to choose from, but we are so glad we chose Haus. Becky came out to value our house and was lovely, very professional and extremely helpful. She never put any pressure on us or tried to push us into making a decision, which we really appreciated.<br>From start to finish, the whole process has been smooth and stress-free, and we couldn't be happier with the service we have received. Lucy has been fantastic and a real credit to the team.<br>We would 100% recommend Haus Estate Agents to anyone looking for an estate agent. Thank you so much for all your help and support!
