9th Mar 2026 (8 weeks ago)A speedy and professional job by Rod, Aaron and all the staff I dealt with Alexander Jacob. I'll try to keep this short; I had a small property for sale in Retford which had been rented for a while with another estate agent in town and I asked what they thought I could get on a sale and after an extensive discussion they suggested it be marketed at £80k and wouldn't budge on it. I was never going to accept this and a third party(thank you Shane!) suggested I speak with Rod, he told me £100k would be easily achievable and indicated a little work be done, which came to less than £1k and was arranged by AJ, and I sold for £110k. I'm not suggesting that this will be everyone's experience but Alexander Jacob clearly have a far, far better grip on how the local market is trending than some other estate agents in town.

27th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)THE RUDEST ESTATE AGENT I HAVE EVER COME ACCROSS IN MY LIFE! Usually you would expect to be welcomed to to a property you are looking to buy, invited to park on the drive so you can see what it would be like to live there. Not Claudia Romano, who arrives 1 minute before the appointment, shouting out of her car door, "I'M THE ESTATE AGENT SO I GET TO PARK THERE!". And then, once we have driven around and finally found somewhere to park, has the cheek to tell us that we're late and we will not have a full appointment - when we were there first! Prospective sellers - avoid at all costs!!!

29th Apr 2026 (6 days ago)I can highly-recommend Phil from EweMove Dronfield and would like to add mine to his long list of glowing reviews: First and foremost Phil is a nice bloke. He is honest, trustworthy and reliable. Secondly, with Phil you'll get a very professional and personalised service - EweMove also charge very competitive rates, so you will do well to find an all-round better package than this (I don't think you will) I'm a perfectionist who can find fault in most things, but I couldn't fault Phil. My house was sold and a memorandum of sale issued to all parties in ONE week. In addition, I was not living at the property or in the area at the time of sale. Phil went above and beyond meeting surveyors at the property and also the buyer to measure up for furniture. Absolute first-class service from start to finish. Do yourself a favour and avoid the usual high street chains and give Phil a call. It's literally like having a trusted friend sell your house for you. Thank you Phil !! ????????????

3rd Oct 2025 (7 mo. ago)Positivity shines through from all the staff at Buckley Brown. The customer comes first and they provide knowledgeable information. Someone is always at the end of the phone to offer guidance or reassurance. The staff who came to the house to value/take photos/show people around treated my property with respect. Having lived here happily for many years, they helped me find the right people to love it when I have moved to my new adventure.
