Tanyas communication and negotiation with the chain when no one was conversing through their solicitors was invaluable and over and above what she should have had to do. 16th Aug 2026 (29 days ago)We’ve been so impressed with Owen from Milburys W-U-E from our first meeting, friendly, knowledgeable & understanding of us needing an extra viewing with our special needs child, this was quickly accommodated.<br>Owen was communicative throughout & again was a conduit for the practical stuff that really helps like if the Quooker tap does chilled water as well as boiling?? Important right?<br>He’s been fantastic & we would definitely have no hesitation recommending Milburys for sale or purchase to friends & family.

29th Jun 2026 (11 weeks ago)I would very much recommend using Allen and Harris in Witney. Aishah and Jarrod were amazing, constantly updating and communicating with us. Jarrod is still a trainee but would like to say how impressed we were with his knowledge about our house and how he communicated that information to the viewers. He has a presence about him that will make a great estate agent and an asset to the team.
9th Jul 2026 (10 weeks ago)I have been looking for a property for over 9 months , Fern said she would contact me with anything that fitted my criteria and she did exactly that , she is friendly, approachable and very professional at the same time, always prompt in responding to e-mails and calls with any questions etc , thank you Fern for being so brilliant !- 2nd Sep 2026 (12 days ago)As a 23 year old who as never bought a property before I was full of anxiety and thought I was definitely going to have a nervous breakdown until I met Poppy I went into my appointment knowing nothing about mortgages and came out feeling like I knew everything (I didn't but felt like I did) the way Poppy went through it and explained it me as a complete novice was so much appreciated. Such a lovely helpful person and a very patient and reassuring person in my times of panic. I would have absolutely no hesitation recommending Poppy.
22nd Aug 2026 (23 days ago)Recent sale of a house in Charlbury. Ted George took care of everything and were always very responsive to any questions or clarifications needed. The house sold close to the amount they suggested and in the expected timeframe.<br><br>They took care of all viewings and provided timely feedback after each one.<br><br>They also recommended a conveyancing firm who were excellent as well.

Kept in the loop with viewings and outcomes. Very useful feedback from potential buyers. Found the Street.co.uk app good. Would definitely use McFarlane Sales & Lettings again. Tim Stanley was excellent.

Leigh and Helen gave a balanced and thorough appraisal of the property when suggesting the sale price. From the moment we gave our instructions, Helen and the team were totally brilliant, always keeping us updated, and always responding very promptly to any emails or phone calls. Selling a home can be a very fraught experience, but I felt that we were thoroughly supported throughout. Many thanks to Helen especially, but also to all of the team.
16th Aug 2026 (29 days ago)Straight forward to deal with when selling with Parkers. Had to chase for feedback from viewings sometimes but once we sold they were incredible at keeping things moving by chasing solicitors and our buyer to keep momentum

Martin and Marc have always been friendly, courteous and very helpful. Communication is always easy and clear. I would highly recommend Read Maurice if you are looking to rent or buy.

11th Jun 2026 (14 weeks ago)AVOID CONNELLS AT ALL COSTS I am receiving passive aggressive emails from Connells 5 years after they made my house purchase 10x harder than it needed to be despite being told my information had been removed from their databases in line with GDPR regulations- clearly they cannot even manage that. As a first time buyer I was given a terrible deal as I unfortunately did not know any better- if you are a first time buyer, or really any buyer, AVOID CONNELLS. EDIT 17/3/26 - you’ve replied telling me to get in touch to make it look to people like you’re doing something about this but you have now not replied to my email. Again, Connells cannot manage the most basic of tasks - do not involve them in your purchase/sale/rental of your house. Edit 1/6/26 still no reply, avoid this company. 11/6/26 I have received another email reminding me to renew my mortgage, clearly GDPR means nothing to this company. I still have not received an email which I was promised in reply to this review.

During this time the whole team were so helpful arranging viewings around my schedule and keeping in touch during the purchase. A very personal approach to house buying which was much appreciated and a pleasure to experience.
31st Jul 2026 (6 weeks ago)I have just sold my house through Chattertons, they were fantastic from start to finish, professional and friendly.<br>I had viewings booked within 24hrs thanks to the photos and information about the property.<br><br>Anna kept me informed every step of the way and gave me lots of support, I never felt I needed to chase up on the progress.<br><br>Very competitive fees, all in all I can't fault them.<br><br>Thank you Chattertons

Helen looked after our sale herself, answering difficult questions and dealing with particularly difficult situations effectively. She really showed us her true professionalism and care, helping us out when we needed her. 26th Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)We signed up with AJ Estate Agents earlier this year when we were selling our house. We cannot praise AJ and her team highly enough. They were all incredibly professional, efficient and helpful, and their communication was excellent. They did a great job on advertising our property too. We had one private potential buyer prior to engaging AJ. Initially they lost a bidding war with several of AJ's clients, but the first buyers sadly had to withdraw. We ended up going with our private buyers and AJ was very gracious about this. We highly recommend AJ and her great team. However large or small your property, you will get a 5 star service from these lovely people.
