I recently rented a property in Canary Wharf through Hunter & Broomfield, and I was consistently impressed by their professionalism and service throughout my tenancy. From the initial viewing to the day-to-day management of the property, the team demonstrated exceptional courtesy, professionalism, and attention to detail. The property itself was exactly as described – clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The accuracy of their listing gave me complete confidence in their integrity as a company. The living environment they created was pleasant and conducive to professional life in London. I was particularly pleased with the quality of housemates that Hunter & Broomfield matched me with. All were presentable, professional, and considerate individuals, which speaks volumes about the company's careful tenant selection process. 14th Aug 2026 (11 weeks ago)I rented through Property Liaisons for just over a year and can honestly say I have rarely encountered such poor management. At almost every opportunity, mistakes were made. These ranged from minor but persistent issues, such as the admin team repeatedly misspelling my name despite it being clearly shown in my email address and signature. To more serious concerns, including a failure to inform us about a building-wide cladding issue and ignoring our questions regarding fire safety.<br>From start to finish, I was unimpressed with the level of service. A few examples highlight why my confidence in the company steadily declined:<br>* When we attended the office to sign our rental contract, we noticed the flat we were about to sign for was being advertised for sale in the window. When we asked about this, the two staff members present were unable to provide a clear answer and had to make a call, eventually confirming that the property had in fact been taken off the market some time earlier.<br>* Upon moving in, we were given the wrong parking space and an incorrect bin access code. In addition, several important emails were delayed because our email addresses had been entered incorrectly, despite the fact we had already been in regular email correspondence with them.<br>* A maintenance issue involving a broken vent, first reported on 11 March 2025, was never resolved. The fault caused the temperature in the flat to drop and interfered with the heating system. Each time we followed up, we were told that a new contractor had been appointed and would be in touch. Despite sending photos and repeated chasers, no repair was ever carried out.<br>The most serious issue, however, was discovering—through neighbours and the sudden introduction of a waking watch—that the building had unsafe cladding. Our subsequent email requesting further information went unanswered. While it may not be a legal requirement to disclose such issues to prospective tenants, it feels deeply unethical that this was not communicated to us before we moved in.<br><br>It is worth noting that our day-to-day interactions with Kier and Kieran were consistently positive. They were helpful, professional, and responsive in their direct dealings with us. Unfortunately, their efforts were undermined by wider administrative failings wilthin the organisation.

25th Dec 2025 (10 mo. ago)Me and my flatmate had the worst experience with one of marble properties agents- Shabs. Both of us needed to follow up with him relentlessly to get anything he’d request/demand over the phone in writing. Often, he’d forget what he’d told us previously/ use the fact he communicated primarily through phone call to disregard what he’d told us, creating a lot of unnecessary confusion and anxiety. One of the most unprofessional and immature people I’ve ever interacted with.

22nd Aug 2023 (3 years ago)If I could give 0 star, I would. Absolutely unprofessional, disrespectful, cheap & discriminative service that this agency provides. Home owners pay them to have a part of full service. The tenants will have to deal with their own reference checks etc. as the agency is washing their hands when it comes to doing anything that they are getting paid for. After being passed onto a referencing agency who couldn't do their job properly, (which I now believe happened in collaboration with the agent of DPR as they didn't want to give us the flat ) we've been asked to get in touch with a 3rd party agency to sort out the problem. Why would you use two 3rd parties to do your reference checks? Later on the agent made is seem like it was all our fault (that their agency couldn't reference us properly) and they ahed contacted the landlord and suggested him not to go ahead with us. In all honesty, you guys better make a call to Trading Standards as well - I reported them already.The more of us the better.

7th Aug 2023 (3 years ago)This was he worst experience I have ever had in 10 years of rental property's. The lack of communication from this company is unbelievably furthermore when there is communication is with demands and ultimatums. Never again!
18th May 2026 (24 weeks ago)Extremely disappointing experience with Johns&Co at London City Island. From our very first conversation, we made it explicitly clear that parking was a requirement for us. We were initially shown a property with parking, shown the parking area itself, and then shown another property which we were told also included parking. Based on those representations, we proceeded and had our offer accepted. Only later did we discover — via a WhatsApp message from the agent Katie — that the property did not in fact include parking and that we would need to rent a space separately. This was clearly material information and something we had specifically stated was essential to our purchase decision. We would never have proceeded had the correct information been provided from the outset. What made the situation worse was the handling afterwards. We were initially told compensation would be offered, but after querying the amount, the local manager Elliot called to say we would receive nothing because the issue had been discovered “early in the process” and he did not believe anyone had done anything wrong. The overall attitude felt dismissive and lacking in accountability. We were left having wasted significant time and effort progressing a purchase based on inaccurate information, and ultimately had no choice but to withdraw. Buyers should be very careful to independently verify all “confirmed” information provided during the sales process.

This agent doesn't have any reviews- 16th Sep 2025 (1 year ago)I moved into my flat in June and had a great experience with the sales agent, Kevin. I wasn't made aware at the time of move in though that the landlord doesn't actually use Chase Evans for repairs. I flagged that my shower head holder was broken and a safety hazard during my inspection on June 1st. It is now September 16th and I still have not been able to get someone to come repair it and the shower head has hit me on the head, leaving a bruise multiple times. The property manager, Andrew Karayiannis, and his manager Bethany are claiming they're doing all they can do but they rarely return my calls or follow through on what they say they're going to do and they're unable to get an appointment set. I have tried going through the landlord's person directly but he is unresponsive as well. This is by far the worst property management experience I've had in the UK and in the US. At the very least, make sure you understand if Chase Evans actually manages the property or just avoid altogether.

He was updated more than fully on multiple long emails etc. The market at this time was peak interest rates. I mentioned with regards to the saturation of the market on flats as well and with regards to the price, but he had bought high as is mostly the case and didnt want to lose money on the property and drop. He eventually did drop to the figure I mentioned with another agent and it was not at the same price. It was not 6 weeks, I noticed it when looking for comparables. It came off with me October 2024, it was remarketed and completed September 2025, 1 year later, this comment left June 2026!!They were not fictitious viewings. I was not evasive I talked how the market is whether a vendor wishes to hear this or not. Personal insults! They noticed all the awards on the outside of the shop and the website. Lowest rated from those with grudges, please read the answers below from those few reviews like that. Companies use companies that block low reviews and only then upload the higher reviews to Google, I dont. I have no issue if people want to leave reviews, freedom of speech, but at least let them be factual/correct and not with personal insults, I expect more/better , in this case from his line of employment he works in. Shirt not tucked in, that then gets tucked in, is this relative, food! I lost 3 stone, even though I was told I looked ok, a personal choice to be healthier.<br><br>Sam Ades<br><br>Your offers were going up in increments over a 1 month period.<br>The property was sold to someone else, as there were other interested parties, that you were aware of, and these buyers came in with immediate offers at acceptable figures soon after viewing. You were coming and going at times and mentioning other properties in the area, which i presume you were also looking at. I gave replies to your emails as to why the lower offers were not acceptable to the owner. The owner took time coming back as mentioned at the time. If you had offered the correct required figure from day one, you had a better chance of securing the property. I have staff members. But like other companies i do undertake viewings but sales progress all sales. I have over 30 years of experience and have sold 1000s of properties to exchange and completion with an exceptionally high conversation rate with all manor of issues, some vendors have even commented that no other agent would have got their sale through, as i sale proceed in a certain way. I have been on Barking road E16 for over 18 years. Good luck with your search.<br><br>Rabi Dil<br><br>I have no information, that i have ever had dealings with you.<br><br>Candice Bonney<br><br>I gave an expert insight into these types of properties which are blocks of flats with deck access, of which the lenders will also require the % of owner occupiers and take into account re-saleability. The service charges are also high, due to lifts and the concierge, these are predominately for cash buyers, but at certain prices as mentioned. I was marketing at a price that was requested. The housing association i work with declined to purchase. Offers were received, but as mentioned ,when they applied for mortgages there is every possibility they would be declined. I gave 3 other examples of blocks in the area, whereby purchasers had tried multiple brokers but with no joy and unfortunately this was the same in this instance and they were declined due to the above points. Cash buyers at this time, were few and far between and would look at other types of properties to purchase. Feedback was supplied, i handed the keys back politely. I can appreciate it is frustrating with these types of properties and i only wish lenders would be more flexible.<br><br>Imran Khan<br><br>I can not go in to detail with regards to the landlords professions but they are very busy at present, we will still be managing the property as we have known them for many years but unfortunately you were declined.

1st Dec 2025 (11 mo. ago)I have had a very disappointing experience with this agency. When I moved into the property, it was already in poor and dirty condition, and I have videos showing this at check-in. A few months later, a cockroach infestation started. I immediately reported the issue to both the landlord and the agency, sending photos, videos and emails. However, they only arranged an inspection after one month, just to look at the situation. Even after that visit, no proper action was taken, and I was forced to live in those conditions for two more months. Before leaving the property, I thoroughly cleaned the flat and left it in a much better condition than when I moved in. I have submitted dated photos and videos showing the condition at check-out to DPS as part of a formal deposit dispute. Despite providing clear evidence of the property’s condition at both check-in and check-out, the landlord still requested a £200 deduction from my deposit for cleaning, and the agency did not intervene or support me in any way. This experience has been stressful, unprofessional and unacceptable. I have now raised a formal dispute with DPS and submitted all my evidence. Based on my experience, I do not recommend this agency.
13th Oct 2026 (19 days ago)I'm so glad we went with Alex and Matteo. Their communication is excellent - emails with feedback from every viewing, regular video calls with the excellent Foivos (who is great and worked really hard), and super-fast WhatsApp group to all relevant staff. One of the big reasons we went with A&M was that Matteo talked about them having Cara, a member of staff who helped keep the transaction moving after they were negotiated by the sales agent. Cara is absolutely invaluable - she saved my sanity when bumps naturally arose in the process. It was so useful having Cara there, to raise issues that may take much longer to surface via solicitors. Alex & Matteo were definitely the right choice for us - down to earth, and felt wholly different than any other estate agents I've encountered.

Not only did he get the sale price agreed he liaised with ourselves, the purchaser and the lawyers on both sides to chase progress, identify issues and problem solve to ensure the transaction proceeded. Thanks to the whole team for getting the transaction across the line.
