7th Apr 2026 (6 mo. ago)I had a good experience working with the team at Richard Godsell. The market for the property was limited as it was a retirement flat so we had few viewings however it sold after a few months, marginally less than advertised but for an acceptable sum. I would consider the original valuation to be accurate. Communication with the agent was good and while the sale took longer than expected due to legal complications, the agent did a really good job of keeping the buyer, who we were at risk of losing, placated through a difficult period.

Neither I nor the owner of the property I was buying had moved for about 30 years and Anthony David & Co guided me carefully and kindly through the more recent complications of house buying/selling which at first had felt so overwhelming. They are a calming knowledgable team. This company knows the locality and the market very well. They also have a great network and good working relationships with local surveyors, solicitors and the other essential professionals needed to reach a successful completion of both my purchase & sale of my property. They were clearly invested in my well-being and ensuring I (and my family on moving day) had a good experience. Individual members of the team knew who I was when I walked in and that personal touch matters. The various obstacles that inevitably arise in a house purchase were dealt with deftly and firmly, with Anthony David advocating several times on my behalf. Thank you very much team, you did a great job! Mary

31st May 2025 (1 year ago)Really pleased with the service from Fox & Sons Bournemouth. The team were proactive, professional, and clearly knew the local market well. They got my property listed quickly and we had strong interest straight away. Within just three weeks, we had secured a buyer at the full asking price — couldn’t have asked for better! The whole process was smooth, and I was kept well informed throughout. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to sell in the area.

1st Sep 2026 (9 weeks ago)I generally prefer to give companies the benefit of the doubt and avoid leaving negative reviews, but our experience as buyers with Palmer Snell has been genuinely appalling.<br>?The level of communication from the sales team is beyond poor. Emails sent to Anthony repeatedly go unanswered, and getting through on the phone is a constant struggle. On one occasion, I spoke with Magda and gave her details regarding our purchase, but no action was ever taken. To make matters worse, Anthony scheduled a second viewing for my husband, forgot about it entirely, and left the seller to conduct the viewing herself.<br>?Due to the total lack of transparency and responsiveness from Palmer Snell, we were forced to contact the vendor directly. Unsurprisingly, she is just as dissatisfied with their service as we are.<br>?I must highlight the abysmal service from Anthony, the office manager. We found him to be arrogant, rude, argumentative, and overly dismissive when discussing structural and building queries. The experience has been so stressful that I can no longer bring myself to speak to the office, leaving my husband to handle all communication. If this transaction falls through, it will be entirely down to the agent’s incompetence.<br>?While there seem to be positive reviews for their lettings department, the sales team is a completely different story. Their lack of honesty, professionalism, and basic customer care is deeply frustrating. Whether you are buying or looking to instruct an agent to sell your home, I strongly advise avoiding Palmer Snell. In the future, any property listed with them will be an immediate red flag for us.

11th Nov 2022 (3 years ago)We were recommended Fahrens by friends who had used them before. Fahrens, especially Zak who we sold our property with were absolutely fantastic. We sold our flat and bought a house at the height of the pandemic in 2020/2021 with a newborn baby, such a stressful time but made less so by Zak. He was always there to answer questions, emails etc and was a great support. All the team at Fahrens are so lovely and never make you feel rushed when calling. They even helped us out when there was a leak in the flat above ours whilst we were on holiday by going to the flat on a Sunday to investigate. I can’t thank Fahrens and Zak enough for everything they did for us at that time. They sent our newborn a lovely card and present when she was born too. Estate agents that go above and beyond!
30th Oct 2026 (2 days ago)If you’re thinking of using a Letting Managing Agent don’t hesitate, look no further. Martin and Heather (Partners) have been looking after our investment property since it was purchased in 2003. First this was as employees of a well known agency chain and we then moved the property to them after they set up independently, when the service we received at the agency chain fell dramatically on their departure.<br>It is their business and the level of service reflects this and shines through in every way. Over the years there have been a number of problems with tenants/neighbours/property and the common sense hands on approach to solving these has been great and very much appreciated. It is also worth mentioning in that time the property has been let almost continuously and with well chosen and carefully screened tenants. They and their great staff have my highest recommendation.<br>It is now December 2021 and my opinion remains the same. They are a superb managing agent and they continue to offer a service which is beyond expectations. Don’t hesitate you won’t be disappointed.<br><br>It is now October 2026 and as above the service the team at Thacker and Revitt remains faultless. They always go that extra mile. Following the latest government interventions, detrimental to Landlords, we decided to sell our investment property to avoid any possible repossession issues in the future. Thacker and Revitt dealt with the sale finding a purchaser quickly and managing a very straightforward sale, protecting our interests, and at a good price. Their recommended solicitor was excellent and basically between them they handled everything. A special thankyou to Terry who again was superb. The whole team are great they have my highest recommendation possible for the service they provide. Use them!

1st Jul 2026 (18 weeks ago)I cannot praise Meyers in Wimborne enough. Becky arrived at the property having researched sale prices locally for similar properties. She gave me a folder with all this information plus what to expect should I appoint Meyers. Once I appointed Meyers they exceeded any expectations in so many ways. Most of our communication was made through WhatsApp which meant it was easy to respond and refer back to information contained in the chat. Nikki, who was included in this chat, was as swift as Becky when it came to updating me with information. Particularly useful when I was out of the country for a month. My thoughts were always taken into consideration and I was advised accordingly. The advertising of the property was done well, with an instagram post, a video of the property and environs plus excellent photography. It was adverted across a number of sites to make the most of getting to as many views. I feel the cost was value for money and would definitely recommend Meyers of Wimborne to anyone selling in the area.
