What we appreciated most was his great sense of humour and the fact that he actually treats you like a human being, rather than just another transaction. He kept us completely in the loop at every single stage of the process. Unlike other agents we've encountered, he was never evasive—he gave us straight answers, answered every query promptly, and worked tirelessly to make sure the purchase went smoothly. Andrew was also great whenever we spoke with him, providing fantastic additional support and keeping everything on track.<br><br>Thanks in huge part to James's exceptional service and care, we successfully completed our purchase and happily moved into our new home last week! 29th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)Rosanna and her team at Jackson-Stops in Bury were fantastic to deal with. Rosanna showed us round the first house we viewed and her energy was infectious. We instantly fell in love with the house and she helped us through the whole process where we’re now lucky enough to call it our home. She couldn’t have been more helpful, professional and passionate about her job and ensuring everything went smoothly for both sellers and buyers. 18th Oct 2026 (15 days ago)This is easily the worst estate agent experiences I've ever had.<br><br>This is purely from the experience of trying to buy a property through them, and if this is how they treat potential buyers, I would hate to think what their sellers would make of it.<br><br>Properties are taken off the market and then put back on again, with little or no explanation. You email asking for clarification and get no reply. I even went as far as making a formal complaint to head office, only to be completely ignored.<br><br>To make matters worse, I've seen an auction property listed as “under offer” three days before the auction was even due to start. How does that happen? I appreciate that pre-auction offers can be made, but surely potential buyers deserve clear and accurate information about a property's status.<br><br>The lack of communication, the failure to respond to enquiries, and the complete lack of acknowledgement of a formal complaint have been extremely disappointing.<br><br>If I were selling a property, I'd seriously question whether this is the level of service I'd want from the estate agent representing me. Potential buyers should be treated with basic courtesy and professionalism, and in my experience, that has been sorely lacking here.<br><br>Based on my personal experience, I would struggle to recommend them.

The market us not great at this time, there are many houses on the market and sone for several months so ism am not commenting regarding time we were on the market with them or lack of veiwings. There was a lack of communication from our agent and as the market is slow, we didn't feel that they wanted to try other ways like an open house idea or more social media presence.

As a solo first time buyer the process seemed a bit daunting but Jade was a huge help from the start with arranging viewings to keeping me updated throughout the process and ongoing checks which was reassuring and even checking in after completion. Sarah made my ID verification process so much easier, which meant I didn’t have to travel back and forth from London. That was a huge help, especially with my busy work schedule. Jacob understood exactly the type of property we were looking for from our the first meeting. He suggested multiple properties that matched our criteria and were available for viewings, making our experience so much easier because we didn't have to spend hours trawling through properties sites anymore. He was able to book the viewings at times that suited our needs and accomidated our every request. He immediately put us at ease, he was clear with the process and discussed the valuation rather than told us as other agents had. We were always kept informed of viewings including cancellations. They were extremely helpful with solicitors paperwork, printing, scanning and even forwarding to help us out. The whole team should be praised for their professionalism and we would recommend them without any hesitation. Brian and Jo

We found the property that we really wanted and, although at the time it was already sold, Jade assured us that if anything changed she would 100% make it happen for us and we are now living in our dream home! Could not recommend Jade high enough. The personal touch you will almost definitely not find anywhere else

And certainly on one occasion we thought that’s it’s not going to happen but joannaof sowerbys after sale section kept things holding on with some extraordinary lateral thinking during a chase for missing contract.
