19th Feb 2026 (11 weeks ago)I had a fantastic experience with this estate agent from start to finish. Elliot has been so helpful and kind . The entire house-buying process was handled incredibly quickly and efficiently, which made what can often be a stressful time feel smooth and straightforward.<br><br>They were always responsive and took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly, no matter how big or small. I really appreciated how clear and transparent they were at every stage, keeping me updated and ensuring I understood exactly what was happening. I definetly will recommend this firm !
26th May 2025 (11 mo. ago)Whilst the individuals who work here can be very nice, their enforcement of actioning requests to the landlord to fix issues is sub par, and the landlords they take on are not always nice people. Before taking on the property they promised all carpets and issues with the property would be fixed, they were never even attempted to be fixed. Scaffolding went up all round the property with zero warning, all walkways looked directly into the property. Nothing was explained that there was issues with the roof. Also lost access to parking space that came with the property due to scaffolding placement. Was told it would be up 3-4 weeks maximum however was still there 4 months later when I moved out. Downstairs tenants had major damp issues in their property which the landlord refused to fix. Extremely loud tenants in the property with no action from the landlord to stop it. Drugs being sold in downstairs property, no action from the landlord. Due to insufficient insulation was extremely cold and wind blew throughout, and also meant when roof was worked on everything in storage spaces got covered in debris. Eventually got cleaned after weeks of begging. Did nothing after I received very aggressive phone call directly from the landlord as to when I enquired about the scaffolding and lack of parking. Once again, nice people, but bad management and clientele.

22nd Feb 2026 (10 weeks ago)I had an extremely disappointing experience with the rental agency. I was a tenant with them for five years, during which they conducted quarterly inspections. On each visit, no significant issues were ever raised, and I was never informed of any major concerns regarding the condition of the property.<br><br>However, at the end of my tenancy, they suddenly presented an excessive number of alleged issues and proceeded to deduct over £1,600 from my deposit — ultimately returning nothing at all. This was both shocking and deeply frustrating, particularly given the lack of prior complaints throughout my tenancy. The situation feels unfair and unjustified, especially after maintaining a long-term and seemingly trouble-free rental history with them.

28th Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)Generally ok, however agent reassured us our family ‘profile’ would appeal to sellers, some days later they sold to a property developer! Not much more to say, I guess more money was the ‘profile’ that won! Also as days lapsed communication went sour. And since they never contacted us regarding any new properties, effectively loosing interest!

The entire rental process was handled with great professionalism and transparency from start to finish. A massive thank you to Ruby Wilson, who supported us every step of the way. She was incredibly helpful with the referencing process, ensured we received all legal documentation promptly (How to Rent guide, EPC, Gas Safety), and was always quick to respond to our queries regarding the inventory and utility set-ups. It is rare to find an agency that communicates so clearly and makes the moving process so straightforward. If you are looking for a property in the area, I highly recommend Ruby and the team at Greenwood & Co!
10th Apr 2026 (24 days ago)Not a great experience - spoke to lady on the phone who was not overly helpful. Was not able to give a rough commission % because apparently they don’t do this over the phone. This is fine but have spoke to multiple other estate agents that have been a lot more helpful and have told us if they are able to match the % rate of the current estate agent we are with, or at least give a rough estimate % before organising an appointment to visit us. Didn’t want to waste ours, or their time by scheduling an appointment for them to come out and then find out that it is a high commission rate, for us to then not go ahead. Just a little bit frustrating.

Always available, always charming, always diligent in following up the slightest lead. He has already achieved a sale with one and I am sure will soon do so with the second.Very happy to have been introduced to him.

Our property was chain which lead long delay ups and down throughout the whole process Most importantly communication was clear and timley and Steve he went always extra mile to make sure everything was handled efficiently. Usually you would expect to be welcomed to to a property you are looking to buy, invited to park on the drive so you can see what it would be like to live there. Not Claudia Romano, who arrives 1 minute before the appointment, shouting out of her car door, "I'M THE ESTATE AGENT SO I GET TO PARK THERE!". And then, once we have driven around and finally found somewhere to park, has the cheek to tell us that we're late and we will not have a full appointment - when we were there first! Prospective sellers - avoid at all costs!!!

16th Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)So I used Bournes for the rental of my property over the 2025-2026 calender year. They were swift in the process throughout specifically David who I was dealing with. Full transparency is we unfortunately did find the one bad egg of a tenant but with David’s relentless help and work ethic he over saw everything and ensured a painless experience despite the negative outcome of the tenant. Professionalism at its finest and work ethic that can not be ignored! Thankyou Bourne and hope to do more business again soon!
