27th Feb 2024 (10 weeks ago)All I can say is, if you are thinking of letting a property do not go with Farr and Farr on Oxtalls Way! Communication and customer service is non existent. I have just ended my fully managed agreement after 6 months of problem after problem. There are things that could have been resolved easily but because of the way they handle everything and the delays in responding I found myself getting more and more frustrated with them. I am not sure if they need retraining in customer service skills or better management to make the office more efficient. They are fine with straight forward tasks such as collecting the rent payment, issuing monthly invoices and paying the money but when it comes to answering questions and rectifying issues with the property they ignore emails and have no clue on how best to deal with problems.
5th Apr 2024 (29 days ago)We were renting a property managed by Moon and Co until February this year. During the stay we had no issues but we are still waiting to receive a quote for deductions on our deposit despite having left the property for nearly 2 months. This appears to be a loophole in the deposit protection schemes - where the agent refrains from providing a quote for deductions, your request to receive your deposit is stalled indefinitely unless you pursue a legal route. This is a lot of money that we really need released and we are now not receiving responses to our emails. Our next resort is unfortunately a statutory declaration. Jon Bentham is supposed to be managing this process but there appears to be little incentive for the agent to provide a quote for deductions in a timely manner. Had I known this we would have submitted a statutory declaration as soon as possible. I see based on another review that this has happened for other tenants. I would advise anyone reading this who is a tenant to arrange a statutory declaration on completion of your tenancy to minimise delays in returning your deposit. It is unfortunate that we are being forced to pursue a legal route but at this stage there are no other options.

18th Jan 2024 (15 weeks ago)I honestly cannot praise this realtor and particularly Belinda enough. As a new resident of the UK she helped me find the best rental for my needs and budget. She then assisted me in what seemed insurmountable legal requirements. Her extra effort could only be truly appreciated when I gave up the let and moved to another county and found dealing with those agencies (6) an absolute nightmare wrt everything related to the rental. Aside the mental and emotional stress they cost me a good few extra £1000's of pounds. I was ready to throw in the towel when I was informed 2 days prior to the booked move that my application was successful. On the contrary ZERO STRESS or EXTRA COST WITH Peter Ball of Charlton Kings. I shall forever be grateful to them. I am sure if I had had dealings with the other agents on my arrival I would have packed up and gone home. BRAVO PETER BALL & BELINDA

The viewing and commitment to purchase process with Kamal was excellent. Then as this was a protracted process due to no fault of the agency they did all they could to settle any concerns. Without Penny going above and beyond I am certain we would still be waiting to complete! I am incredibly happy with the outcome of my sale and the clarity over my next steps. All employees were very helpful and professional - I cannot recommend them enough.

Neal Wood’s valuation was spot on (as it had been in respect of a prior house sale), and he and the team did an amazing job of marketing the property. The first people to view came forward with a serious offer which I was very happy to accept. They - particularly Kim - then held my hand through the entire transaction, which was not easy due to unforeseen issues at the bottom of the chain, in what was a very difficult mortgage market. They were patient, communicative, and overall extremely professional. Thank you Hamptons.

19th Apr 2024 (15 days ago)Where do we start? Jackson Bailey were 10/10 when selling our home. During what was an incredibly protracted process, which took six months from start to finish; Ben and the team kept in continual contact and chased where needed to ensure that the relevant progress was made. Having sold with JB, but purchased through a useless purple online agent (whose own ‘sales progression’ service was dreadful, talk about ‘commisery!’); Ben had to step-in and liaise on both our sale and purchase; doing the job of our seller’s agent at times too! Communication was clear, constant and effective, and we found the WhatsApp group an excellent way of getting updates outside of normal working hours. A refreshing change from having to leave constant voicemails to other agents in the chain. Overall, a justifiably FIVE STAR service from Jackson Bailey. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking to sell in the local area and cannot thank them enough for their efforts.

Nothing seems too much trouble. We're buyers from afar, if we were selling in Faringdon then I know who we'd use!

Always quick to respond to my questions and gave me all the answers. It took this great team 5 days to finalize my contract and everything went through very smoothly.
