10th Sep 2018 (8 years ago)Do not rent from this company. After renting a high-end property in St Johns Wood, this firm has been a nightmare to deal with. From the start, the condition of the property was sub-par. Despite repeated requests for cosmetic repairs and promises to rectify, these went ignored, then once we moved, they have attempted to claim for items which are clearly visible in the check-in report pictures and the ones we had been asking to be repaired since the start of our tenancy, and at excessive prices. They are not responsive and despite moving out 3 months ago, we still have not received our security deposit back. I would highly recommend you rent from a more reputable and professional firm. Do not trust your money to this agency. 26th Apr 2026 (6 mo. ago)Dhruv Rupapara and Zac Summerhayes were the agents who worked on the sale. They were easy and pleasant to work with and had a good understanding of the market. They sold my flat faster than I expected, were transparent and informative all through the process, answering all my questions with patience and good humour. I would recommend Winkworth Islington and both the agents without hesitation.- 23rd Jul 2024 (2 years ago)Winkworth were incredibly helpful throughout the process. The buyer and his solicitor messed me around forever at a difficult time for me. Without Winkworth 'on my side', I might well have given up and taken the flat off the market. They always took my calls, always followed up, always got back to me - that made the difference.

23rd Sep 2025 (1 year ago)I just purchased an apartment and Winkworth Paddington office was the agency that took over the whole process. They were very friendly, helpful, professional, and delivered on time. I highly recommend them.
14th Aug 2026 (12 weeks ago)I rented through Property Liaisons for just over a year and can honestly say I have rarely encountered such poor management. At almost every opportunity, mistakes were made. These ranged from minor but persistent issues, such as the admin team repeatedly misspelling my name despite it being clearly shown in my email address and signature. To more serious concerns, including a failure to inform us about a building-wide cladding issue and ignoring our questions regarding fire safety.<br>From start to finish, I was unimpressed with the level of service. A few examples highlight why my confidence in the company steadily declined:<br>* When we attended the office to sign our rental contract, we noticed the flat we were about to sign for was being advertised for sale in the window. When we asked about this, the two staff members present were unable to provide a clear answer and had to make a call, eventually confirming that the property had in fact been taken off the market some time earlier.<br>* Upon moving in, we were given the wrong parking space and an incorrect bin access code. In addition, several important emails were delayed because our email addresses had been entered incorrectly, despite the fact we had already been in regular email correspondence with them.<br>* A maintenance issue involving a broken vent, first reported on 11 March 2025, was never resolved. The fault caused the temperature in the flat to drop and interfered with the heating system. Each time we followed up, we were told that a new contractor had been appointed and would be in touch. Despite sending photos and repeated chasers, no repair was ever carried out.<br>The most serious issue, however, was discovering—through neighbours and the sudden introduction of a waking watch—that the building had unsafe cladding. Our subsequent email requesting further information went unanswered. While it may not be a legal requirement to disclose such issues to prospective tenants, it feels deeply unethical that this was not communicated to us before we moved in.<br><br>It is worth noting that our day-to-day interactions with Kier and Kieran were consistently positive. They were helpful, professional, and responsive in their direct dealings with us. Unfortunately, their efforts were undermined by wider administrative failings wilthin the organisation.

17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)What a different way to sell a home, with supportive, gentle and trustworthy people. We’d been mulling over the idea of relocating out of London for years and even discussed putting our home on the market with Unique previously. What we like is that there is no big sales pitch, no pressure to sell, just listening and responding. But more importantly, keeping both our buyers and us calm, communicative and friendly throughout the sale, so it felt as smooth as it could possibly be. We’re not planning to do move again any time soon, but we’d definitely use Unique if we were.

We can’t fault them and would recommend their services to anyone on the area. Special thanks to William and Guy, who helped us tremendously.

Matthew really took the time to understand what we were looking for and showed us properties that were genuinely well-matched to our needs. When our survey turned up some minor issues, he handled the price renegotiation efficiently and got us a fair outcome.<br><br>Wendy was excellent on sales progression — the seller was chain-free and wanted to move fast, and with both sides travelling over the summer holidays, timing could easily have gone wrong. She kept everything moving regardless, and we exchanged and completed in under six weeks.<br><br>Highly recommend Matthew, Wendy, and the team at Gibson Lane - Ham.

I would absolutely recommend working with Chloe if you are looking to work with an agent who will provide complete transparency into the letting process and reassurance that the flat will be looked after and well managed.
