8th Jul 2026 (4 weeks ago)I can highly recommend Pattinson Estate Agents for a great local service. We found everyone we spoke to at the Wallsend branch, and auction team, to be friendly and professional - and our valuer Josh Cowey, was especially helpful and knowledgeable.<br>As we live out of the area, we depended on additional services from Pattinsons, such as - getting the EPC arranged, and accompanied viewings. Updates on potential buyer feedback and viewings were provided regularly, and it was useful getting text reminders whenever a viewing was scheduled.<br><br>One note of caution though - we were not happy at all with BridgeView Law (formerly Butterworths), who Pattinson recommended for our conveyancing. We received little-to-no communication from this firm, and our completion date was delayed by almost 3 weeks as a result. We have listed again with Pattinson's on another property but we will not be using BridgeView again.

They said they tried to phone me despite them having my phone number, email details etc and them phoning me this week already to confirm the viewing...

4th Aug 2026 (4 days ago)Northwood were excellent - valuation was realistic, they took professional photographs and got my listing online quickly. I had lots of genuine interested viewers in days, and several offers well over my asking price. Their service throughout was fantastic - always able to contact them, Leanne (sales progressor) was so on the ball with keeping things moving and keeping all parties informed, including dealing with my upwards chain too. My buyer commented on how great Northwood were with her too. Resulted in a completed sale, over asking price and all parties very happy, Overall highly recommend, extremely good value.

11th Jan 2026 (6 mo. ago)I bought my house through Jan Foster Estate Agents over a year ago, and I can honestly say it was one of the worst and most stressful experiences of my life. What should have been an exciting milestone turned into an absolute nightmare because of the way this company operates and, in particular, because of the behaviour of Ashley, the agent I dealt with. From the very beginning, Ashley was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. He spoke to me in a condescending manner, showed no patience, and made me feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a client making one of the biggest purchases of my life. Simple questions were met with attitude, poor communication, or no response at all. At times, he was outright disrespectful, which is completely unacceptable in any profession, let alone estate agency. Communication throughout the process was shocking. I was constantly left chasing for updates, clarification, and basic information that should have been provided without me having to beg for it. Deadlines were unclear, things were poorly explained, and I was often left feeling confused and stressed because no one seemed to care enough to do their job properly. Instead of being supported and guided, I felt ignored and brushed aside. Buying a home is supposed to be handled with professionalism, respect, and care. Unfortunately, that was entirely missing here. The stress, anxiety, and frustration I went through could have been avoided if Ashley and Jan Foster Estate Agents had shown even a basic level of courtesy and competence. I would strongly advise anyone considering using Jan Foster Estate Agents to think twice. Based on my experience, they lack professionalism, respect for clients, and proper communication. I would never use this company again and would not recommend them to anyone. This experience left a lasting negative impression and completely took the joy out of buying my home.
7th Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)I am happy with Kidd and spoors services.<br>I am very unhappy at the double cost of being referred to Kidd and Spoor,<br>I find the referrer fee very underhanded,<br>As no one in their right mind would willing pay £420 x 2 = £840 to a third party.<br>Only used Kidd and Spoor as Mike Rogerson's representative stated we use these as its easier, not saying because I get a lovely backhander.

19th Jul 2026 (20 days ago)Truly the most amazing experience with the girls in the Gosforth office. Our home went on the market 3 times after buyers pulling out and each time they were straight into action getting it sorted for us. From the minute I enquired they were straight round, with the most competitive fee, and the house was on the market within the week. It took us over a year start to finish to sell, and knowing we were also looking to buy a new house they were always sending us possible properties and I just felt like they were really rooting for us. Particular shoutout to Sarah for her unwavering advice, Ellie and Emma for always being at the end of the phone, and Allison for handling the sale. Our sale wasn’t easy but they made us feel like we were all in it together and I can’t thank them enough. Even now, after we have sold and are still looking for a new house, they have kept us in mind for everything they list. Absolute stars. Thank you!!! Rebecca and Liam xx
27th Jul 2026 (12 days ago)Really confused as to why this estate agents has so many good reviews when I have received such an unprofessional service. Booked a valuation and my appointment was changed and I was emailed without asking if that was okay. When I queried this they reverted back to my original appointment. Then the estate agent didn’t show up for the valuation so I called and had the response ‘we had emailed to change the appointment time to an hour later’ which they hadn’t. They did attend the valuation all be it 30 minutes late. I was surprised no research on the area had been done prior as all previous valuers from other estate agents normally come with research and provide the value on the spot. When I received the valuation, the fee was incorrect. I then booked photographs of my property to be taken. I was then emailed with a rearrangement again (without consent) with less than 48 hours notice to the new appointment, given that the original booking was 2 weeks away. When I queried this, I was told this was an error.. yet another excuse. When I rang up to cancel moving forward with this estate agent, I explained the reasons why and the receptionist on the phone said ‘ok I’ll cancel it’ and just hung up, with no goodbye or acknowledgement, which is incredibly rude. Overall an incredibly poor experience and do not trust them to sell my property.

I must point our that all our experiences with this estate agent were certainly one of the best. I can confirm they were professional in every sense. Together with a sense of duty to their clients. I can recommend this estate agent without any hesitation. May I take this opportunity to wish them all the very best for the future. A message to any potential person who wishes to be involved with the property market engage Brown's Estate Agents first you won't be disappointed. They were so kind and got us booked in very quickly and then went above and beyond to finish our survey within a couple of days to help us meet our completion date. Always responded to queries very quickly too which we really appreciated.
17th Jul 2026 (22 days ago)Please stay clear of this company. They are highly unprofessional and have no desire to stand by their own terms and work in a smooth and timely manner. They do not stay updated on any progress when working through a purchase of a property and do not act as if they want to get to completion within their own 60-day terms. I had two occasions on the same property when a mortgage valuation was booked in, and the Jack Senior at Let Property assured me the first would be completed. Once no one turned up at the property to allow access for the valuation, it had to be rebooked, and when I spoke to Jack again he assured me 100% someone would be there. But again, when the valuer arrived at the property no one was there to allow access. Also during the process it would take days, sometimes a week, to get a simple bit of info or just a return call from Jack or anyone at Let Property. They set 60-day completion terms, which I was happy to work to and moved fast on my side, but when they constantly delayed things, it got to the point nothing was moving foward. On top of this, they take a reservation deposit and will not refund it has we are past the 60-day terms even with the delays being their own fault. I would highly recommend staying clear and using any other company. I have found Pure Investor to be very professional, helpful and hardworking to make sure both the seller and buyer are happy and continue to get things moving forward.
