17th Aug 2024 (8 weeks ago)I contacted Abbots last year to inquire about their services though chose not to pursue them. Since then I have been repeatedly contacted month-to-month asking if I am interested in selling with them, or arranging a mortgage. Each time I have informed them that I am no longer selling my property and requested that they cease contacting me. The calls have continued ceaselessly. Take a hint—I'm just not that into you!

14th Sep 2024 (29 days ago)I had an appointment on September 13th at 2 PM to view a property organized by Whittley Parish. I informed the agent that I was traveling from London and would leave as soon as possible; Google Maps estimated a 90-minute drive. Unfortunately, due to several roadworks, the drive took over 2 hours, and I arrived 17 minutes late. When I called the agent to explain my delay, I was told that I had missed the appointment and should return back to London. Despite my efforts to reach them, the agent showed no concern whatsoever. there was no sympathy for the the inconvenience caused by the extended travel time. I was left feeling extremely frustrated by the lack of professionalism and empathy. In my opinion, and being friday the 13th, Lindsey needed to get back to her cauldron and could not make any exceptions. It’s disappointing to have had such a negative experience with Whittley Parish. I plan to share my experience on social media to highlight how unprofessional their service was.
16th Sep 2024 (27 days ago)Really hopeless when it comes to getting viewings for rentals or updated information. They say they’ll call and don’t etc … Many of the staff are rude and blunt. I saw several reviews that they’re not good for landlords or tenants and in my experience i wouldn’t recommend and definitely wouldn’t use to rent.

Always polite and friendly when I call,always happy to help and sort out any issues very promptly. I feel safe and supported in my rental property. Sadly it's gone very downhill! You tell them about a roof leak and they send a plumber ????. You have to call constantly to get things done and the landlord has no idea you're going through this!

They organised all the required certification and have been friendly, courteous, helpful and professional throughout. I even received feedback via Tyler that my tenant is very happy and thinks the flat is lovely. I have no hesitation in recommending Leaders, they are a delight! Thanks again.

6th Sep 2024 (5 weeks ago)We have been so extremely pleased to have found Kingsleigh. From our personal phone call back from a letting enquiry to arranging a time that suits us for a viewing - the process of finding a property was simple and professional. Once we had made our decision to rent with Kingsleigh the systems that are in place to ensure that they, we and the landlord are subject to accountability and all the correct checks and balances are in place, are of the highest standard. Nicky and her lettings team sent timely emails, made personal calls to us, and all staff were aware of who we were and could help us at any time. Easy to use software and apps made the process simple and we were in no doubt we were being taken care of. The property was ready when expected and the digital itinerary was incredibly detailed and filled us with confidence that any snags were recorded prior to our tenancy start. Since letting the property, we have liaised with Nicky twice with Kingsleigh regarding landlord related queries and the answer is almost immediate with a personal call and follow up email. We have also been supported by the Lettings Hub – arranged by Kingsleigh, free of charge – who offer assistance with getting services online post move, compare market rates on insurance and other products you may need to let a property. We feel safe, protected and valued as tenants in our new home and feel that Kingsleigh are in a different class to other high street agents who do not offer the same bespoke service. I would not hesitate to recommend Nicky and Kingsleigh to any future landlords or people looking to rent. Quality service from a company with integrity. Mr & Mrs Lindsay

18th Mar 2024 (6 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
