1st Nov 2024 (21 weeks ago)They were more interested in "rushing to market", and trying to be clever with the aggregation websites, than in preparing and presenting the property in it's best possible light. And why they are fixated with taking photographs from knee level I do not know.

14th Mar 2025 (12 days ago)A very positive sell & buy with William H Brown! I wouldn’t go anywhere else now for future prospects! Lisa in after sales was amazing! Tom was so helpful from the start. We spoke to other estate agents and really was not keen on there approach (to many phone calls, there only way of selling was moaning about other agencies ect) but Tom & Lauren where so super helpful and actually listened to our time frame ect. The girls who showed us the house we bought were so helpful & friendly. Lisa at after sales is amazing!!!! Unfortunately the only downside is the solicitors William H Brown sent us to, we’ve had hardly any correspondence from them, but thank god for Lisa who kept us updated & let us know details, payments, even when we had exchanged ect as otherwise we wouldn’t have known due to our solicitors being terrible! She really kept us in the loop, gave us faith we would make it to our deadline and was just so helpful at every phone call / email. She’s amazing at what she does, and like I said we would have been so lost with out her! We can’t thank her enough!

I really appreciated receiving updates and messages through the WhatsApp chat they set up. I would thoroughly recommend Hizzy to anyone looking to sell their home, and will definitely use them again if I move again in the future!
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
13th Mar 2025 (13 days ago)Foxhall Estate Agents came highly recommended and they didn't disappoint! The valuation was carried out by Emma-Jane and she arranged promotional photographs, which were uploaded onto their web site within a couple of days. Our prospective buyers were shown around our house by Kaz and Cheryl, the Foxhall viewing specialists and they were both friendly and reassuring. Once the property was sold, subject to contract, the Sales Progression Manager Sigourney pushed the sale over the line. We are happy to recommend Foxhall Estate Agents for their professional conduct throughout.

Grace is realistic and honest about valuation if you are selling, rather than telling you what you want to hear to win the instruction. Grace is a good firm worth doing business with.

2nd Mar 2025 (24 days ago)Dealt with Marks&Mann a couple of years ago and never left a review due to feeling a bit sour with lies and communication. My property that I purchased was offered with no chain in capital letters and was voiced as such during viewings however it turned out to be a lie and was part of a fairly lengthy chain. I'd have no issue with a chain if it was honestly advertised as such. There is obviously not much communication between the branch that set this sale up and the Ipswich branch as the person dealing with me had no idea of this until I showed her a screenshot of the listing. She initially just assumed I was being impatient. Towards the end of the closing, I got a call from a different branch saying that I needed to act faster to close the deal. No idea why considering I always did everything I had to do on the day of being asked to. I contacted the Ipswich branch about this and they were as confused as I was. Safe to say that I wasn't very impressed by the end of all of this. The only reason that this isn't one star is because of Emily the girl dealing with this did really try her best. It's just a shame that colleagues above and at other branches didn't properly communicate with her.
