4th Sep 2026 (14 days ago)My cousin called the lettings office to arrange a viewing for a rental property. A female answered the phone and she said: we are organising viewings at 7pm for this property. You can go there and the tenant will show you arround, You should make sure you get there tonight because it is cheap and it will go quick. The property was indeed £150 under the market rent of similar properties in the area. When I heard this I thought to myself: this is a letting agent who cant be bothered to attend their own viewings and the purposely advertise under the market rent so the flat rents quick without them leaving their office ( the building was 5 mins from their office ) regardless of the fact that the landlord who has a mortgage will get much less than other landlords in the area get for similar properties . I never heard of such a lazy letting agent . I just dont think is safe for a tenant to attend a lettings viewing without the estate agent , the tenant in the property could be a maniac with an agressive dog left alone with the viewer.

His professionalism, knowledge, and genuine commitment to helping made the whole experience so much easier and more enjoyable.<br><br>Scott was friendly, approachable, and incredibly helpful. He kept us informed throughout his time with us was quick to respond to any questions, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was understandable. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about his clients and takes pride in providing an excellent service.<br><br>It’s not often you come across someone who is both highly professional and genuinely personable, but Scott is exactly that. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him to anyone looking to buy, sell, or let a property.<br><br>A huge thank you to Scott for all his hard work and support — an absolute credit to WARDS Estate Agents! ?????
3rd May 2024 (2 years ago)Really good local knowledge which is key and communication was excellent with the use of my propertyfile. All agents were well informed and always helpful. The selling fee amounts to a lot but you get what you pay for so it was worth it to get me a buyer quite quickly at an acceptable price.

10th Sep 2026 (8 days ago)We cannot thank the team at Hunters Catford enough for everything they did for us during the sale and purchase of our home.<br><br>We previously had our house on the market with another estate agency for 12 weeks, during which time we had just two viewings and no offers. When Richard and his team took over, the difference was incredible. They marketed our home with genuine care and attention, and within just 12 days we had received multiple offers. We were absolutely amazed by the turnaround.<br><br>A special mention has to go to Richard, who was incredibly knowledgeable, experienced and an absolute pleasure to have on our side. Selling a house can be incredibly stressful, and having someone with his expertise and calm approach made such a difference. We always felt that our home was in safe hands.<br><br>And then there is Brenda... who truly deserves a special and heartfelt mention. Brenda was absolutely outstanding throughout the entire process. She is the definition of going above and beyond for her clients. This was a very stressful time for us, but Brenda was there for us every single day. She communicated with us constantly, answered every single question we had (and there were plenty!), and always made us feel supported and reassured.<br><br>What stood out most was that Brenda genuinely cared. She was incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, patient and dedicated, and we always felt that she was personally invested in helping us get through the process successfully.<br><br>I am still amazed by the dedication and commitment of the whole Hunters team. Every member played their part in helping us through what was, at times, a very difficult and stressful sale, and we are incredibly grateful to all of them.<br><br>Thank you Richard, Brenda and the entire team at Hunters!! We genuinely couldn't have wished for a better estate agency to have on our side, and we would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to sell their home.

17th Sep 2026 (1 day ago)We had ongoing issues with the honesty and support we received from this agency during our purchase. Our independently arranged snagging inspector had a failed visit because the developer forgot the appointment and the property wasn't ready. We were charged £399 by the inspector, in line with his standard terms for a missed visit. Rather than holding the developer accountable, a staff member phoned our inspector and questioned his honesty about how the booking was made. The inspector later told us this in writing himself, describing it as "concerning." Only after he pushed back with a clear account of events did the agency admit in writing that we "certainly shouldn't be charged for a service that wasn't carried out," but no resolution was actually offered. Separately, when we queried being asked to cover the developer's solicitor's fees, our own solicitor had already explained the general process to us. Our concern was that the developer wasn't following up as agreed to justify the specific charge. Despite this, we were told the agency was "surprised our solicitor hadn't explained it", which wasn't accurate, since it had been explained. Our actual query was never properly addressed. Our experience was that when we raised legitimate concerns, the agency's instinct was to defend the developer rather than engage honestly with what we were telling them.

Honestly without them pushing and chasing for us I don’t think we would have exchange in time for our deadline. I honestly couldn’t praise them enough!! Would 100% recommend!

They were professional, yet offered a very personal service. I appreciated their support during the ups and downs of conveyancing. Emails were answered promptly and I was kept updated throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend their services.

However Wards did get several leads and worked to turn them into a sale. Their approach was to push for the modern auction or a deep discount, and in the end it was the discount that got the sale.
11th Sep 2026 (7 days ago)The market for high value properties is difficult atm. After 15 weeks with Hunters we only had one viewing and no sale. We decided to switch agents. We were very impressed with the initial property inspection and valuation. The team who we met were very pleasant. We were disappointed at the lack of communication from them. Only 1 call apart from the viewing in 15 weeks. It left us with the impression that they were not taking actions to sell the property apart from putting it on the portals.
