When I am in the US, it is important to me that my property in the UK is managed professionally and at a reasonable cost. Oliver Burn and Aldo-Marco, their Senior Property Management & Accounts Manager is on-it, both for routine and/or exceptional circumstances. Importantly, Oliver Burn support my tenants so that my property is looked after. If you are looking for property management, especially when out of the country, I recommend Oliver Burn.

29th Jan 2019 (7 years ago)Throughout a very long and complex sale with lots of issues and potential deal breakers, Richard kept us updated and encouraged. He was always prompt to reply to messages by phone or email. He was always honest and upfront, managing our expectations and delivering difficult news appropriately. With a different estate agent we might not have had the energy to see the sale through. Robert played a similar role throughout the initial part of our sale while we kept having to re-adjust the price in a very tricky market. These guys are the real deal, the opposite of a dodgy estate agent cliché, they know their stuff and genuinely care about their clients.
31st Mar 2026 (13 weeks ago)I had to keep chasing them . Over valued it by 50,000 then wanted me to keep dropping. No real concrete feed back . Very miss leading about offers instead of waiting for offers officially tell you one is been made to never materialize.
29th Mar 2025 (1 year ago)FJL produced a very good brochure with nice photos but they suggested we reduce the asking price which they recommended in the beginning. They had the house on the market for 5 months but we never received an offer even when.price was reduced.
13th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)I felt very fortunate to work with Tom and Lewis from the outset, Tom is a fair minded individual who evaluates carefully his clients and their requirements and it pays off in the relationships he forms which is one of trust. Lewis had only just started at Winkworth when we put our house on the market but delivered great buyers for our house which is very special and important to us as we had loved there for over 27 years
22nd May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Absolutely horrible, would not even refer them to an animal. After waiting nearly four months for an accept or decline decision on my offer no contact from Raj. He contacted me 4 times during this period and that was only in the month of February. Incredibly unprofessional and such a poor customer service.

28th Mar 2026 (13 weeks ago)I’ve had a nightmare experience with john co since the very beginning. First, they were incredibly inefficient with the move-in process, delaying my tenancy start date by three weeks and leaving the property vacant for that entire time. What makes this even more ridiculous is that they failed to carry out mandatory safety inspections (EICR, Gas Safety, EPC) during those three weeks of vacancy. Instead, they have contacted me three times in just my first three weeks of living here, demanding access for various contractors. It feels as though they are using me as an unpaid property manager to coordinate their overdue maintenance. If you value your time, privacy, and mental peace, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Their management is a complete mess.

Originally priced the property above the recommended value had 16 viewing that David Martin undertook. Communications by phone and email were good keeping us in the picture. They obtained the buyer and communicated well during the negotiation process.

27th May 2024 (2 years ago)I was grateful that they found a buyer fairly quickly but a little disappointed that communication wasn't the best. The price we were valued at was also well above the price we sold for, but as I said finding a buyer was the main thing!

I received regular updates on the progress of the sale, and my specific requests were responded to professionally and promptly. I would recommend Bournes to anyone looking for an estate agent that offers that little bit extra.

Moving is such a stressful process but they have really made things so much easier, explaining things throughly and keeping us up to date on next steps. Ananya and Millie have been the highlight of it all, both such lovely ladies, who have been so helpful and easy to work with! They have been amazing throughout this whole process! Thank you so much again ??????
