2nd Sep 2026 (16 days ago)I contacted Acorn after my three-bedroom flat in Telegraph Hill had been on the market with another agent for over a year without selling. Within hours, Nellie had arranged a valuation. The team even spotted and resolved a boiler problem that was causing an alarm to sound—something the previous agent had never flagged.<br><br>Nellie clearly explained how Acorn would market the flat and present it to prospective buyers. Their knowledge of the area and straightforward approach gave me confidence, and after comparing three local agents, I chose Acorn.<br><br>Within two weeks, they had secured three qualified offers, all within the agreed price range and one at the asking price. Nellie talked me carefully through each offer and helped me make an informed decision.<br><br>The legal process was slow, but Nellie and Hannah did a fantastic job of keeping it moving, chasing when necessary and helping to unblock issues whenever things threatened to stall. Their communication throughout was excellent: proactive, clear and focused on getting the sale through to exchange.<br><br>After my experience with the previous agent, I cannot recommend Nellie, Hannah and the team at Acorn Brockley highly enough. They have been absolutely brilliant!

14th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)I am writing this based on my experience dealing with an agent at Century 21 London Central regarding a serious water leak from a property they manage.<br>A leak from the flat above caused significant damage to my flat, including damage to the ceiling, walls and flooring, with further cracks appearing in several areas. The source of the leak was subsequently confirmed by a Westminster Housing technician.<br>I first informed Dusan about the matter on 21 June. Since then, I have had to repeatedly chase for progress:<br>9 July – followed up for an update<br>14 July – followed up again<br>20 July – followed up again<br>21 July – contractor visited the flat to inspect the damage<br>28 July – followed up again<br>3 August – followed up again<br>On 3 August, the contractor confirmed that he would prepare the quotation that evening and send it to the agent the following morning, with the intention of arranging the repair as soon as possible. I heard nothing further.<br>By 12 August, I had to chase again. The agent then emailed the contractor asking for the quotation. This was despite the agent having already asked the contractor for the quote on 9 July and again on 29 July.<br>As of 14 August, almost eight weeks after I first contacted the agent, I still have no quotation and no date for the repair.<br>What is particularly disappointing is that I have repeatedly had to chase both the agent and contractor, rather than seeing the matter actively managed through to resolution. From my perspective, it feels as though the responsibility is simply being passed back and forth, while the damage to my property remains unrepaired.<br>The situation has also developed further, with my tenant reporting electrical problems after the water spread through the flat, including repeated circuit/fuse tripping and lights no longer working. This makes the lack of urgency even more concerning.<br>I understand that the leak itself was not caused by the agent. My concern is entirely with how the resulting problem has been managed. I would expect a professional property management company to take ownership of a serious maintenance issue, communicate properly with all parties and ensure that necessary repairs are progressed within a reasonable timeframe.<br>I am also a landlord myself, and I take the condition of my property and the wellbeing of my tenant very seriously. I would never allow a repair issue like this to be left unresolved for this length of time. Based on how this matter has been handled, I would not use the agent and Century 21 London Central to manage my property, as this level of management could damage the landlord’s reputation and potentially expose the landlord to complaints, liability and legal action if the property is not properly managed.

24th Sep 2022 (3 years ago)I really wonder how come they have so many 5 stars reviews when they did not prove anything else other than unprofesionalism and unable to schedule viewings. They showed up on a Saturday unannounced and the agents can’t seem to get the times right. No cummunication whatsoever other than the automatic email confirmation. They do not reply to emails and do not care about improving their services. I am running very low on patience because of them and definitely this is not how you should do business.

The professionalism makes what could be a stressful experience super chilled. These charaterisitcs were the reason we chose to go back with Q to sell. Even when searching, their knowledge, understanding and pragamatism is invaluable. We would absoulutely recommend Q to any friends or family. Thanks for all your help guys. Awesome.

10th Dec 2025 (9 mo. ago)Today (12/12/25) at around 09:30 on the M4, one of your drivers driving a Mini, registration LS73 GXC, was continuously using his mobile phone while driving and hogging the middle lane. Once he finished using his phone, his driving became even more concerning. Despite the speed being reduced to 40 mph, he began driving aggressively, flashing other drivers to move faster, and also attempted to undertake other vehicles. His behaviour was reckless and extremely dangerous. Given that this vehicle is displaying full company branding, this reflects very poorly on your business. If you employ drivers like this, it may be worth reconsidering allowing them to operate company-branded vehicles, as it presents a serious risk to public safety and your company’s reputation. I truly wish I had dash cam footage, as I would have reported this incident directly to the police. I hope this matter is taken seriously.

James was incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process, taking the time to understand my requirements and liaising with the landlord whenever needed. His support made what could have been a stressful and time-consuming process feel much more straightforward.<br><br>Communication was excellent, with quick and helpful responses by both email and phone whenever I had questions or needed assistance. Even while James was away, the handover to his colleagues was smooth, ensuring that any outstanding matters were followed up without disruption.<br><br>Overall, I really appreciated James’ professionalism, responsiveness, and willingness to go the extra mile. From the very beginning, their onboarding service was incredibly straightforward and hassle-free.What really stood out to me was their communication. They use WhatsApp to provide regular updates, which made the whole process seamless. Because they are so quick to respond, I always felt kept in the loop. They even replied to my messages after hours when my busy workday meant I forgot to reach out during standard office hours.The entire team is lovely, honest, helpful, and absolute pleasure to deal with. 24th Jul 2026 (8 weeks ago)Without doubt, this has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had.<br><br>Although they may have eventually found a buyer for our property, that is where the positives end. Throughout the sale we experienced repeated problems, poor communication and an astonishing lack of professionalism.<br><br>The most serious issue was that our property was left unlocked on multiple occasions after viewings. Leaving a customer's home unsecured is completely unacceptable, and the fact it happened more than once demonstrates a serious lack of care and attention.<br><br>What was even more disappointing was the response when these issues were raised. Rather than taking ownership or showing any genuine concern, there was no accountability whatsoever. Ben, the manager, simply pointed me towards the complaints process and said someone would contact me to apologise. That apology never came. Promises were repeatedly made and not followed through.<br><br>The only person who deserves any recognition is Zoe in the office. She was courteous, professional and genuinely tried to help. Unfortunately, she was let down by the wider management and overall level of service.<br><br>For comparison, we purchased our new home through Mansell McTaggart, and the difference was night and day. They were proactive, professional, communicative and treated us like valued customers from start to finish.<br><br>Buying and selling a home is one of the biggest financial transactions most people will ever make. You expect your estate agent to be trustworthy, organised and accountable. Sadly, our experience was the complete opposite. The lack of communication, failure to accept responsibility and disregard for the security of our home have left us extremely disappointed.<br><br>I would never use this company again, and based on our experience, I would strongly advise others to think carefully before instructing them.
