Nick was professional and communicative from start to finish, keeping us updated at every stage and pushing proactively to get the property through to exchange and completion.<br><br>Everyone else we dealt with in the office was just as helpful. The whole process felt straightforward from beginning to end, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Winkworth to anyone buying a property. We're excited to now have the keys to our forever home.

17th Jul 2026 (13 days ago)Agent did not take any notes and did not revisit before doing the write up for the advertisement he just used large chunks of the previous agent’s brochure. He even included a pond with a bridge over it which we had filled in when we took the house off the market several months before. The photos were not very good and the photographer was uninterested in bringing out the best in the house. There was a mistake in the floor plan listing 4 bedrooms when there are three. Feedback was slow and communication very poor. I even had a prospective purchaser stop me outside the house to say he had to wait to get an appointment to view but had finally got an appointment for the following week. I knew nothing of that appointment as had not been contacted at all. I could go on but that’s probably enough for you to get the picture. We have now taken the property off the market for the foreseeable future

8th May 2026 (12 weeks ago)All the above 'excellents' look ridiculous I know, but they accurately and honestly reflect the service that I have received from Richard James which has been nothing short of astonishing. From the very initial photographs for the advertisement to keeping me informed of viewings and confirming the results of viewings, they could not have been more attentive and considerate. In particular I must name and thank Mr James Sargeant of their Wroughton office for his dogged and persistent qualities. I live in Devon and was afraid that I might not be kept quite so well informed as a result, but I need not have worried. I continue to be delighted with Richard James performance and would urge anyone selling a property to ring them up tomorrow - or even this afternoon!

They seem to be an agent for local people and value property low for quick profit. Its hard enough selling a house in Calne what with the town smell and its demographics.The last thing you want is an agent like this

What a lovely house, set far enough away from the hustle of the harbour, but close enough to stay in the middle of it. It rained most days, but who cares!? We sat with hot tea (or a glass of wine!) looking out of the gorgeous upper floor living area. CRW are an amazing team, the cleaner is so lovely and the holiday was as perfect as ever! Can’t wait to return!

She is extremely professional , super communicative, and took us through the process extremely efficiently. We went from offer accepted to exchange in just over 5 weeks! While some of that is down to the vendor and us jumping through our hoops speedily, AJ was the cog that kept it all going smoothly, particularly the getting lawyers to talk to each other bit. She made what is often a very stressful time so much easier. This was my second purchase and I cannot believe the difference! Thanks AJ and sorry about the late review! We are loving our new place.
