30th Dec 2024 (18 days ago)I had a wonderful experience from day one with Wellington Wise. My house originally sold in 24 hours, though sadly the buyer then had to pull out. The team were very efficient at getting my house back on the market and selling it quickly for a second time. The communication was excellent and any time I called, each person I spoke with knew what was happening with my sale. I spoke with Sarah, Simon, Mike and Charley who were all so friendly, hard working and helpful. I felt like they really cared and were supportive throughout. Sarah went above and beyond by driving to my buyer with paperwork which needed to be signed on more than one occasion. Without this my chain would have collapsed so I am beyond grateful! I was very impressed with the service I received and would recommend Wellington Wise to anyone wishing to sell.
21st Dec 2024 (27 days ago)Selling our home was a very positive experience due to the excellent services provided by Ellis Winters. The initial consultation with Phil was clear and useful. The photos, video and property details were assembled in a smooth and professional way, making the final listing attractive and informative. We were consulted at every stage. Viewings were arranged easily and feedback given promptly. When offers were received we were given helpful information and advice. As we proceeded to exchange of contracts we had regular updates from Phil with the on-line property-file being very useful. Overall, the service was excellent at a competitive fee. Communication with the team including Kristi, Lisa and Anne and specifically Megan and Phil was friendly, professional and clear. We would recommend Ellis Winters to family and friends without reservation.
28th Oct 2024 (12 weeks ago)We have just exchanged contracts on a bungalow sold by Thomas Morris and they were always really helpful. They actually got back to us when they said they would. Alison has been amazing chasing things up and getting all the answers we needed. The other staff we dealt with were also helpful. There were a couple of hiccups which they sorted. The only thing I would say is that maybe extend the evening viewings hours. With my husband working we found it difficult to view during the week.

MAP estate agents were genuinely excellent. Andrew smoothed the sale on our behalf, contacting me regularly throughout the whole process and keeping me updated on progress. I would definitely recommend MAP to anyone looking to buy or sell.
14th Jun 2024 (7 mo. ago)The old art of selling fivers for a quid! Cross Estates, overvalued and undersold! Avoid our mistakes!!! From a valuation of 500,000 GBP nearly two and a half years ago, to final sale price of 370,000 GBP (-26%) shows the real bottom line of having a property, in Carbis Bay, sold by Cross Estates. The housing market may have dropped since the original valuation, but by 26%???? After an initial flurry of hype of how Cross Estates had international and domestic clients lined up, the reality was something else. Having clearly over valued it at the start, we only had 14 viewings in the following two years . They spent nothing on advertising. Finally it was sold as a fire sale for 130,000 less than their original valuation, yet they had the cheek to charge their full fees. We looked at Bradleys but in the end we were stuck with sole agency with Cross Estates, a very poor, and costly decision. Unfortunately we were not the sole owners of the property and our probate interests were not fairly represented. Cross Estates were asked to keep us informed but failed to do so. Interestingly Bradleys has just sold an identical property on the same street for 20,000 more than Cross Estates. If you are considering selling your property with Cross Estates, I would strongly advise against it. SELLERS BEWARE! Cross Estates merits 0 stars as an estate agent. The full 5+ stars as cowboys.

From the outset, Joseph and Kye were a brilliant combination of friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The photos that were taken of my house were amazing. I received a firm offer within a couple of weeks after months of no offers with other agents. The process was as painless as house selling can be! Very impressive, thank you so much!

14th Jan 2025 (3 days ago)Have not sold! Had 2 viewings in 4 months. Spoke to agent about 5 times. Any suggestions to alter price or offer incentives to prospective purchasers came from me. When contract finished after the 16 weeks I changed Agent. Now on offer for a more realistic price.
11th Jun 2024 (7 mo. ago)The Pilkington sales agent was very enthusiastic and confident and the outcome was that they achieved their valuation. However their positive 'leave it to us attitude', while it achieved the positive result did mean that we weren't fully aware of how the sale was being handled and they needed reminding to progress the memorandum of sale.
