Knight Frank - Excellence with the highest possible professional standards of integrity, trust and genuine care delivered by their Exeter Office team– notably Florence, Racheal, Leonie, Rebecca. In fact, the whole team. They found us two suitable buyers within a week! Their conduct was exemplary in terms of communicating, empathy, reassuring and reality – an estate agency which genuinely understands the emotions and needs of people as well as the practical aspects of selling homes. They are second to none – ‘Knights to be trusted' - professional decent agents who can effectively secure a sale with the least amount of stress. Communicating and engaging throughout the whole conveyance - always there. Keeping us informed. Knight Frank Exeter has a brilliant business ethos balancing, with integrity, the buyers and sellers’ emotions and needs to their own business purpose. To them customers really do come first. We even received a hamper from them on exchange - it is us who should be giving them a hamper! Highly recommended – I just hope we can now buy from them! They told us less than 24 hours before we were due to move in that the house wasn't ready, making us homeless. 3 days before that, they guaranteed the house would be ready and that we could move in. Mostly the idiot landlord's fault, but they could have checked rather than making promises they couldn't possible keep. Not sure how this is allowed with no consequences in this day and age Very disappointing. No stars, but Google insist on putting something.
5th Jul 2024 (22 days ago)We have bought our first house via Ellis Winters and had a very nice experience with their service even though the rest of the process was quite painful and took much longer than expected. From the initial viewing to the deliverance of keys, all the team was very kind, helpful, supportive, and friendly. Whenever the conveyancing process was stuck Natalie McDermott from St Ives branch chased the conveyancers, kept us updated and when I was quite flustered with the process she reassured me. We wanted to have an impromptu viewing of the house before the exchange and they arranged it very quickly on the same day. I cannot remember the name of the lady we talked that day but she did her best to fulfil our last minute request. Everyone we got in touch was very good at their job and went above and beyond to complete the process and make things easier for us (and probably for the vendors too!). Thanks for everything!
9th Jul 2024 (18 days ago)I can't recommend the staff of Thomas-Morris highly enough. They sold my house in the most difficult of financial times. They supported me every step of the way and kept me updated on every viewing. Everyone there was friendly, kind, and thoroughly profesional. I can honestly say they're a great Estate Agent. I would definitely place my trust in them again. Thank you to all of you at the St. Ives office of Thomas-Morris. ????

Donna has been amazing at liaising between us and the sellers and the whole experience has been completely stress free and that’s thanks to these guys! Tamara was an property manager to help us deal with maintenance issues. Pros: communication and 'always try' attitude to fit in with everyone's busy schedules.

14th Jun 2024 (6 weeks ago)The old art of selling fivers for a quid! Cross Estates, overvalued and undersold! Avoid our mistakes!!! From a valuation of 500,000 GBP nearly two and a half years ago, to final sale price of 370,000 GBP (-26%) shows the real bottom line of having a property, in Carbis Bay, sold by Cross Estates. The housing market may have dropped since the original valuation, but by 26%???? After an initial flurry of hype of how Cross Estates had international and domestic clients lined up, the reality was something else. Having clearly over valued it at the start, we only had 14 viewings in the following two years . They spent nothing on advertising. Finally it was sold as a fire sale for 130,000 less than their original valuation, yet they had the cheek to charge their full fees. We looked at Bradleys but in the end we were stuck with sole agency with Cross Estates, a very poor, and costly decision. Unfortunately we were not the sole owners of the property and our probate interests were not fairly represented. Cross Estates were asked to keep us informed but failed to do so. Interestingly Bradleys has just sold an identical property on the same street for 20,000 more than Cross Estates. If you are considering selling your property with Cross Estates, I would strongly advise against it. SELLERS BEWARE! Cross Estates merits 0 stars as an estate agent. The full 5+ stars as cowboys.

Always honest, fair and reasonable for both sides, prompt to respond and eager to push the transaction through without applying pressure. I couldn’t recommend Joseph highly enough and will 100% be using him when I come to sell my home .

However their positive 'leave it to us attitude', while it achieved the positive result did mean that we weren't fully aware of how the sale was being handled and they needed reminding to progress the memorandum of sale.

8th Jun 2024 (7 weeks ago)We received excellent service from Lovett Sales and Lettings when we recently sold our house. The whole team were friendly and professional throughout. The sales literature was excellent - particularly the photography - and quickly attracted several genuine enquiries. Our main contact, David, recommended a Property Solicitor who was also excellent, and kept us up to date throughout the whole process. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending this company!
24th Aug 2023 (11 mo. ago)Had several agent round to value our property, decided to market it with Ellis Winter for several reasons, the initial contact Matt was polite, respectful and very reassuring. Matt and Ollie made every effort to make our property look at its very best when doing the photos. All our queries were answered promptly. Communication was via telephone and backed up with emails. Anne kept us updated regularly. All viewings were carried out by Ellis Winter staff. We were very anxious about selling our family home of more than 25 years but Ellis Winter staff made it a stress free experience, we would highly recommend them.
