15th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Carla Bentley was the team member who mainly liased with us during our recent house sale. She was extremely professional and very thoughtful throughout the whole process. We also had dealings with Richard Marris who had a great approach and was extremely professional. Other members of the team who we spoke to on the phone were always very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Overall, a very good experience during one of life's stressful times.

8th Apr 2024 (8 days ago)Offer to buy a house was accepted and it was up to our surveyors to highlight a Grade 2 listing. Whilst Knight Frank ‘empathise’ we are at considerable out of pocket expense. Property now correctly advertised as listed and whatever the background of who claims what, the agent is expected to have carried out due diligence to confirm facts of what they are marketing. Knight Frank Exeter blame their customer and empathise with potential buyer where legislation states an agent must disclose all information before costs related to surveying or conveying are undertaken. However, this shoddy outfit shirk all responsibility; what a reflection of where we are in todays world. Referring to ombudsman as customer service are running on pastoral ‘empathy’ rather than address a problem where potential buyers remain considerably out of pocket. Our contract was with Knight Frank and their codes of ethics and standards where due diligence is the foundation. The Exeter office has failed miserably to address their duty of professional responsibility. Buyers (and sellers) beware! (investigation response was that "we didn't know, not out fault") With a pending county court claim all is resolved!

19th Jan 2024 (13 weeks ago)Terrible agent. They told us less than 24 hours before we were due to move in that the house wasn't ready, making us homeless. 3 days before that, they guaranteed the house would be ready and that we could move in. Mostly the idiot landlord's fault, but they could have checked rather than making promises they couldn't possible keep. Not sure how this is allowed with no consequences in this day and age Very disappointing. No stars, but Google insist on putting something.

Nothing was too much trouble, going above and beyond on numerous occasions to get the job done. We have no hesitation in recommending MAP and will definitely use them again should we wish to further sell and purchase, thank you again Jenni.
12th Aug 2023 (8 mo. ago)Cross Estates were absolutely AMAZING in all aspects of my sale and purchase. This was the 4th time I have been through the process of buying a house and the 3rd time I've sold one so I feel I have a good measure to compare against. Cross estates were a completely different, totally positive experience. The whole team were helpful, available and knowledgable at every stage. Firstly the team helped me find and secure a house in a notoriously difficult area to buy. Then they helped me put my house on the market - which was marketed superbly and got a full price offer on the first viewing. They stayed in touch throughout the whole process and spoke to me whenever I contacted them. With their incredible help, the process from thinking 'I think I might move', to finding a house, selling my house and moving in took no longer than 8 weeks. All my previous house buying experiences have taken months and been incredibly stressful. I can honestly say that nothing was stressful about this move. I kept waiting for things to go wrong but they never did and that is because Steve, Allen, Ashleigh and Jenny were all over it. Always calm and always staying in touch with the other parties in the chain and solicitors. I can not rate them or recommend them more highly. They made every step of moving into our new home an absolute joy.
10th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)Can’t rate this estate agents highly enough there level of service and professionalism is second to none. we went a viewed our house on the Saturday and by the next Saturday we had the keys, such a straight forward process from start to finish. Kye and Fiona are very friendly and always responds. They make their customers feel very welcome and valued. Usually a stressful time moving house but they made sure this wasn’t the case. We look forward to setting up our home and look forward to the future. Thank you so much Gary and Samantha Dear.

Finding viewings for my property and then helping me through the process of accepting an offer. There has been no pressure at all from them. The communication has been first rate keeping me fully up to date with every step of the way. I would highly recommend them to anybody thinking of putting their property on the market.

Right from their very first visit to the property, they have treated it very much like it was their own. I am extremely grateful for that. The entire operation is efficient and has proven to be much more considerate than I have found from any other letting agent organisation. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

5th Apr 2024 (11 days ago)I’ve been renting with Lovett coming up to two years now. I write this review keeping in mind that I don’t work for a letting agency and I wouldn’t know how things are done or how complicated their work could be. So far, I think Lovett has been fairly reasonable and responsive to my concerns, especially Graham. During my property flooding, Lovett has been very quick with their actions. With their quick communication with myself and my amazing landlord, they made sure I’ve got a temporary accommodation and fairly a safe environment and compensatory measures until the property had been taken care of. When asked, a lady at the front desk has been quick to put a notice on my letterbox so the postmen wouldn’t out any letters due to internal flooding. Property inspector, Cheriee, is an amazing lady with a friendly approach every time she visits to inspect the property. She gives plenty of notice before the visit and also reminders. Overall it’s been good and I hope it stays the same.
