17th Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)Recently finally sold my property after a very long arduous selling process (no fault of Connells). Connells were amazing throughout seemed to be the only party at times to have my best interest. Charlie in particular was amazing reaching out and offering tons of support, especially when a buyer pulled out (again no fault of Connells) the had a new buyer within a week. Couldn’t recommend them enough and big thank you again to not only Charlie but the whole team.

1st Jun 2026 (22 weeks ago)We recently viewed a property in Southmoor which we really loved, fully aware it required a significant amount of work. We initially offered £378,000, and Graham contacted us to push £380,000, suggesting we increase our offer to secure the property. Reluctantly, we agreed as we didn’t want to lose it. Given the age of the property (1960s), we arranged a survey, which highlighted several issues. As a result, we submitted a revised offer to reflect the additional work required. Around the same time, we revisited the property and noticed that three fence panels were down, including one on our side. When I raised this with Graham, his response was dismissive, describing it as “only cosmetic,” which felt inappropriate given the rising cost of materials and repairs. Throughout the process, Graham’s attitude came across as dismissive and, at times, rude. Communication lacked professionalism, and we often felt our concerns were being minimised. We later received an email stating that the beneficiary’s husband, who is apparently a builder of 45 years, had dismissed the issues raised in the survey. This response felt unconstructive and contradictory, particularly as relatively minor issues like the fencing had not been addressed. Overall, the process raised multiple red flags, both in terms of communication and transparency. Unfortunately, our experience has been negative, and we would not feel confident dealing with this estate agent again and I would recommend other people to be aware of them.

Even when Paul was understandable distracted with unforeseen family matters, he remained in communication and showed great commitment and returned calls to make the entire process straightforward. 5th Nov 2025 (11 mo. ago)Agents under valued our property- we ended up going elsewhere and managed to get 80K more than this agency wanted to put it onto the market for. To me, the agent didnt really seem to know what they were talking about. Owner seems more interested in opening new shops then helping with current clients and wasnt very attentive whilst showing him around. Would not recommend unfortunately.

Never fixed a problem that was there from the start of tenancy, and some maintenance issues that were raised were often met with condescending advice (surprisingly yes, I can tell if the boiler is not turning on).<br><br>It’s incredible how the checkout report was the most ridiculous fiction I’ve ever seen. Particularly “Phil” and what they deemed worthy of taking our deposit for. Had a professional clean yet somehow was finding nanoparticles of dust on door handles, left the place better than what we were given but obviously they don’t care.<br><br>Managed to get all the deposit back through the DPS, because the proof they had for all the claims were a farce. Hope it was worth the time, I’ll spend much of my life making sure REA’s like these don’t steal from people renting :)<br><br>For anyone in the future, fight everything through DPS. They are incredibly fair and don’t treat you like scum of the earth

From the start, they were friendly, approachable, and really took the time to understand my situation.<br><br>Grace made the whole mortgage process feel a lot less overwhelming. She explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt confident at every step. Nothing ever felt rushed, and I genuinely felt like she had my best interests in mind.<br><br>Thanks to her help, I was able to move forward with getting my mortgage, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I’d highly recommend Grace and Tom to anyone looking for honest, professional, and supportive advice.

She was incredibly knowledgeable about the market place, the local area and was realistic with what we'd achieve for our property.<br>We had a bumpy road with the turbulent housing market, and it was a long journey to sale. However, Yas was there for us throughout the entire process. Yas always made me feel like she had all the time in the day to talk to me, I always felt valued and listened to.<br>Yas would always keep us in mind for onward purchases too. She showed us around a couple of properties, and was incredibly knowledgeable about them, and whilst the properties weren't right for us, the expertise Yas showed outshone other viewing experiences we'd had by miles.
