I recently purchased a new build flat as an investment with my wife and came across Major Estates on the high street just around the corner from my new flat.
I popped into their shop and explained I needed a mortgage offer within 28 days as these were the conditions of my contract. Major Estates conducted the approval of my mortgage in just 3 weeks. They provided a professional service and kept us updated every step of the way. Dinesh is the main mortgage advisor at Major Estates and he has many years of experience so soon after visiting them we knew we were in good hands.
As we were happy with the mortgage service they provided we decided to market the flat for Rental with them along with 2 other agents.
Major Estates had booked many viewings and had obtained many rental offers from prospective tenants far earlier than the other agents. In the end Major Estates were able to find a professional tenant who is paying a little above what the local market rent is. The letting is headed up by an experienced member of staff named Sandip. He orchestrated the whole letting process perfectly and made sure everything was documented and no stone was left unturned.
All in all we enjoyed the service and will use them again. Since our good experience I have recommended Majors Estates to a friend and a cousin and so far I’m only hearing good things.
I would not recommend Major Estates to anyone as they are a firm of unproffessionals who will put your lives at risk by sending tradesmen which are not corgi registred and not qualified to carry out works.
All they are interested in is your money and ripping you off they are unhelpful my advise to anyone dont use them
We had rented a property through T & T Estate Agents, Louise the letting consultant has been polite, friendly and helpful throughout our dealings with the agency. We valued her efficiency in responding to and keeping us updated on any queries.
Avoid at all costs. The house they rented to us had a damp problem. Unfortunately we didn’t know and put our lovely wall units, wardrobes etc to good use to make the place look nice. After a while we could smell damp and upon investigation found it was all over the walls behind our furniture, unfortunately it reached our furniture as well. When we informed them they refused to acknowledge the problem and said it was our fault for over furnishing the rooms. They forced us to stay as per contract even knowing I was athsmatic and damp makes the condition worse. We had to leave for the sake of my asthma but they made us pay for two months that we didn’t live in the house. When we asked for our deposit back they took money off for the damage to the walls caused by us cleaning the damp and mould off the affected walls. Our furniture was ruined in excess of £1000 pounds. They treated us like vermin. AVOID this place.
Bradley at Abc Estates gave us a stress free experience while finding a rental property. His knowledge of the local area was fantastic. He was clear about what we needed to provide in order to move forward and was available to help and guide us through the process.
This company is one to stay far from whether you are a buyer, seller, landlord or tenant.
Trust the negative reviews on here because the validity of the positive one's is seriously questionable like the the rest of this company is.
The company uses bullying tactics and scaremongering to persuade you and to make you feel that they are above the law.
Trust your instincts and stay away. You cannot reason with them, and the only language they understand is to bully.
I feel sorry for their staff and hold nothing against them. Its the company and its director who are responsible.
One of my favorite experiences in London that I would never forget.
If you want to enjoy a perfect and luxury afternoon tea, this is the one.
I’ve visited here alone but it was very comfortable and never feel awkward.
I would definitely recommend you to taste all kinds of tea as much as you can. They’re all amazing.
For a place that stands for impeccable service, we receive appaling level of attentiveness from the staff at the afternoon tea/ dinner service. Its the holidays and they must have been busier than usual but overwhelmed is not something I expect given their reputation. Definitely not worth the spend and time.
It is very difficult making a decision of what Estate Agent to use. As soon as we met Joe he made us feel at ease and really made us feel like he was always at the end of the phone for any questions/advice. We were always kept up to date. I honestly cannot fault Joe, his customer service is absolutely excellent and I would recommend them to anyone looking for an honest and trustworthy estate agent.
If you are considering selling your property I would advise against this agent. I am a buyer and this is by far one of the worst agents that I have ever encountered - nobody ever answers the phone and staff are rude and unhelpful. Impossible to get any assistance from anyone which is a shame
You'd have much better luck using a more experienced and competent agent that is capable of managing your property for you. I have no idea how this branch even functions, such is the chaos!
