13th Nov 2025 (7 mo. ago)We had such a great experience selling our flat with Statons. We dealt with Angelo who was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The flat sold in just 6 weeks for a price we were really happy with, especially impressive considering there are still other flats in our building for sale with different agents that have been on the market for much longer and still haven’t sold! The photos Statons arranged were perfect, and the video they created really captured the style and feel of the flat which was a nice bonus. Throughout the whole process, the team were helpful and responded quickly. A special mention to Angelo, who went above and beyond even making sure our cat was comfortable during viewings! I couldn’t recommend Statons enough and we will be using them for all future sales!

I can't even put into words how let down and completely shocked we have been at the treatment from this man.

I found them to be very professional, knowledge and they have me some great tips in order to finally sell my home. We went ahead with Big Black Hen and there suggestions and hey presto, our house sold. Ive since recommend Big Black Hen to my friends and family. Great service

From start to finish, the service was exceptional, and the sale of my flat was handled with professionalism, care, and genuine commitment. A special mention has to go to Nick, who truly went above and beyond at every stage of the process. He was proactive, responsive, and always willing to take the time to explain things clearly and keep me updated. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and his dedication made what can often be a stressful experience feel smooth and reassuring.

Efficient communication, speedy listing logistics including Duncan and his colleague Jordan getting property photos done the morning after I appointed them. I felt we were in good hands.

20th Oct 2025 (7 mo. ago)Used Ashtons as was a prospective buyer of a property they marketed. Not so many issues with the office but the sales progression team were always quite slow to respond and could never get through to the assigned person to my case. Additionally used ashtons to sell my property and I feel compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience. The problems began immediately. The agency provided an initial valuation to secure our business in July, only to suggest a £25,000 price reduction after just one week, admitting there was no interest. Despite agreeing to the reduction, it did not correlate to an increase in activity which would lead to questions around marketing and resource as Ashtons list a lot of properties. By September, they had only managed to secure two viewings. We received absolutely no feedback from either of these viewings, despite requesting it, leaving us completely in the dark. Lastly thier fees are quite opaque and if youre new to selling read through everything very carefully. In the non flex fees there are baked in withdrawal fees that ensure ashtons get paid regardless if they sell or not. Which gives them little incentive to really push your property in my opinion. The alternative is you pay money up front to them to sell your property which is preposterous. Fundamentally all the agents use rightmove to market your property and that's where most people go to find houses. In summary: an inaccurate valuation, negligible effort, a complete lack of communication, and a devious fee structure designed to charge you even when they fail to perform.

2nd Nov 2025 (7 mo. ago)I don't feel they really put any effort into trying to sell our property. The quality of the pictures and listing was not up to scratch. We had to chase for information a lot. I regret choosing them.

7th Jun 2026 (12 days ago)? 1 Star My experience with Moving Places was extremely frustrating and left me with very little confidence in their professionalism or transparency. I raised multiple legitimate concerns regarding tenancy agreements, council tax liability, deposit protection, personal data being shared with other tenants, occupancy records, and inconsistencies between contracts. Instead of receiving clear written answers, I was repeatedly asked to come into the office despite specifically explaining that I needed written responses due to language difficulties. What concerned me most was the way the situation was handled when I continued asking questions. Rather than addressing the issues raised, the conversation repeatedly shifted towards warnings about potential breaches on my side and possible penalties. It felt less like an attempt to resolve problems and more like an attempt to discourage further scrutiny. Weeks passed without proper answers to many of the questions raised. Important concerns about contracts, council tax arrangements, and occupancy details were never fully addressed. When a translator assisted me with correspondence because of language barriers, Moving Places responded by suggesting my email may have been hacked and stated they would no longer reply, rather than answering the outstanding questions. I cannot say whether Moving Places were responsible for all of the issues surrounding the property, but I can say that when concerns were raised, they showed very little willingness to investigate them thoroughly or provide transparent explanations. If you are a tenant who values clear communication, accountability, and straightforward answers when problems arise, my experience suggests you should proceed with caution.

Despite providing all the required documents and being told at every stage of the process that 'everything was going well,' our rental application was rejected without any valid reason. Instead of managing the process transparently, they likely prioritized another client they deemed more advantageous, leaving us hanging. We encountered an approach that was far from professional, devoid of basic human decency, and discriminatory. They didn't even have the courtesy to provide feedback regarding the reason for the rejection. I want others to be aware of this dismissive attitude toward our plans and expectations. I recommend being very cautious with this agency to avoid a similar experience."
